This talking parrot uses actual alliteration to form original phrases
Alliteration is the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words. Einstein loves to invent new phrases to keep his human companions entertained. His owner's name is Marcia and he knows that Marcia and Mouse sound similar. He combined the 2 words and hilariously invented the phrase Marcia Mouse which has now become his owner's nickname. He knows a duck makes the quack sound, but Einstein combines it with another word like crazy to say quack crazy. Einstein, you are a genius!

Einstein the parrot often entertains his owners as he chats away on the kitchen counter. He likes to practice his "fowl" repertoire. Saying quack crazy and asking, what's a duck. He then vocalizes a rooster sound and asks, what a roos? Roos is the word Einstein invented for rooster. He knows how to say rooster, he just prefers to shorten the word sometimes. Einstein loves to make up new phrases. Like human children he enjoys imitating the sounds of various animals. He knows a duck makes the quack sound, but he takes it a step farther and combines it with another word like crazy to say quack crazy. He does this because he knows it will make his owners laugh and it gets him attention. Another reason he does it, the owners believe is because the words have the same sound at the beginning. Einstein's vocabulary is so vast that he has invented many other phrases using alliteration. He also likes to whistle and goes into a little song and dance routine with his owner whistling in the background.

Einstein the parrot loves to eat nuts as a treat. He befriends a toy squirrel who is holding a pecan. Parrot performs very skilled balancing act
Einstein the parrot is known for his talking abilities, however, he is bird of many talents. Watch as he demonstrates his skill a balancing as he perches on a small round container. He raises one foot and waves, then changes feet and lifts the other foot without losing his balance! Magnificent! This is very reminiscent of elephants in a circus who perform balancing their huge bodies on tiny balls.

Parrot goes to battle with reindeer impostor
Einstein is a fierce and brave warrior as he battles with an unusual reindeer. Aren't reindeer supposed to guide Santa's sleigh on Christmas? This is obviously a toy chick impersonating one of Santa's reindeer and Einstein took it upon himself to deal with the interloper! Einstein runs after and grabs the little wind-up chick as it hops along the counter. This is a game that he loves to play as he catches them and tosses them to the floor. Note: This is not a parrot toy and should not be given to parrots to play with unsupervised!

Talking parrot chats to the Elf on the Shelf
Einstein is certainly being nice to this elf! Giving him kisses, and offering him corn and sweet potatoes. Einstein dances for the elf waves at him and tells him it's alright. I bet this elf will give Santa a good report and Einstein will get a lot of presents for Christmas! The Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas tradition where a special scout is sent to your home from the North Pole to encourage kids, or parrots to behave themselves. The idea is that Santa's little helper watches by day, and night, then returns to the North Pole to report on whether the child (or parrot) has been naughty or nice.

Talking parrot has inappropriate conversation with his owner
Einstein and his owner were having a little chat. During the course of the conversation Einstein meant to say, talking to the birdie, however, it sounded like talking dirty. I'm sure this was just a slip of the tongue. Einstein's owners have always been very careful not to say curse words to Einstein. Allowing a parrot to learn bad words makes the parrot harder to rehome if it ever needs to find new caretakers. Few people want a foul-mouthed parrot in their home.

Talking parrot reprimands himself for bad behavior
Einstein usually knows when he's done something wrong. He's giving himself a good tongue-lashing for something he has done recently. Einstien is usually a good parrot and rarely misbehaves, but being a wild animal living in a captive environment he does occasionally has to be corrected for bad behavior. When he does act out his owner will tell him, "No!, Be Sweet" or "Bad Bird!" to let him know that the behavior is not acceptable. Although he is repeating words that he has heard, you can tell he knows what they mean!

Parrot can't contain happiness after discovering pumpkin seeds
Einstein the parrot loves to munch on pumpkins when they are available in the fall season. Just wash well and serve whole and raw! They are not only nutritious but also a fun foraging and enrichment activity. Einstein enjoys tearing it up and although the ratio of what is consumed versus what is tossed is rather low, it's still worth it. Einstein knows that his favorite treat lies under all that orange flesh, so he carves away for about 30 minutes until to his delight a pumpkin seed is discovered! You can see it in his eyes! His eyes are pinning, an action of when the bird dilates his pupils from large to small (contracting the pupil) so you will notice the pupil go from big and dark, to very tiny. This happens very quickly and it can occur many times. This behavior is sometimes called eye flashing too.

Friendly parrot gives spoon lessons to scary bird
Einstein the parrot loves to play with this broken spoon. It makes a bell ringing sound whenever he taps it quickly on the countertop. His scary friend named Skinny was trying to play the spoon and wasn't doing a very good job. Einstein decided to show Skinny how it's done. He taps Skinny on the head and takes the spoon in his beak and begins to demonstrate. Einstein is annoyed but decides to give Skinny another chance to try. This time Skinny tries to steal the spoon! Einstein will have none of that and goes after the spoon, throwing it to the floor!

Parrots are also expensive, a large cage is an investment and plenty of play perches to spend their out of cage time. Specialized veterinarian care is also required. Most of all they require your companionship and a forever home. Many people decide after the first few years of parrot ownership that the responsibility is too great and the parrots become neglected and sometimes abandoned. When that happens they are sent to parrot rescue facilities to be adopted by a new family or some spend their lives in sanctuaries. It is often said, "Having a parrot is much like raising a 2 or 3-year-old child for the rest of your life!"

Could this parrot be the White House Whistleblower?
Einstein usually spends most of his time talking, but he is also a very good whistler! Recently, the Trump-Ukraine controversy has erupted as an ongoing political scandal in the United States. A whistleblower has come forward to report that President Donald Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in July 2019 to investigate Joe Biden, Trump's potential opponent in the 2020 presidential race. This type of interference in American elections for Trump's personal and political benefit has sparked an impeachment inquiry against Trump for abuse of power. Since no one knows who this whistleblower is, it very well could be Einstein! It sure is crazy, Einstein!

Talking parrot has very unique way of counting
Einstein's owner is teaching him how to count. Einstein begins, but he skips the number two, he continues and gets hung up on the number seven. His owner coaches him through the number eight, he skips nine, and finishes strong with the number ten! Einstein is eager to try again, this time his owner is helping him along. Again, Einstein gets to six and realizes seven is going to be tough so he says "salad" instead! Very clever of you to know that seven and salad sound alike! Good job Einstein! You deserve that victory whistle!

Clever parrot invents song with unique instrument
Einstein is fascinated by this broken spoon and learned to use it as an instrument to make a favorite sound. He loves the ASMR-like tingle, jingle sound it makes on the counter. Holding it in his beak he quickly manipulates it with his tongue to create a jingle sound. The sound is similar to his favorite toy, a bell. It’s fun to watch him play with it in slow motion too. As they say, “What’s one man’s trash is a parrot’s treasure.”

Hilarious parrot lets owner know it's shower time
Einstein begins to sing his "Gotta clean song", a song that his owner will sing when she is cleaning up around his perch and when doing household chores. Then he says, "Go take a shower!" He is not just mimicking, he knows that a shower is a place you go to get clean. "Look at you! You're all wet!" Is a phrase his owner often says when they give Einstein a shower. While this phrase is mimicking, it is worth noting that he recognizes and has an understanding that all these activities are related. Well, until he starts dancing! Einstein, we don't dance in the shower! We might slip and fall! Letting out a sigh, "OH! Boy!" I guess he realized that was a silly idea too!

Talking parrot discusses nighttime routine with owner
Einstein perches on top of the shower while his owner gets ready for bed. Einstein the parrot asks, "Wanna go night?" He knows just by watching her get ready for bed, that soon it will be time for him to go to his cage for the night too. People often wonder if parrots really know what they are saying or if they are only mimicking. This is one example that parrots do know what they are talking about. He knows part of the night time routine is taking a shower, and then they cuddle for a little while. Einstein calls his owner, "Marcia Melon", a Nic name he made up because both words start with the letter "M". He knows it makes the humans laugh and react when he says it. He also knows Jeff is part of the routine too. So naturally, he wants to go see him. Einstein finishes with a sneeze and gives a cute little wave. God bless you Einstein and have a nice night!

Talking parrot wants to know "where's the mouse"
No, there isn't a mouse loose in the house! It's only Einstein asking a silly question. He knows when he asks this question, his owner will respond with a mouse sound, "eek-eek". He loves the sound and will do anything to get his owner to say it. His owner's name is Marcia, and he has combined the two words together, he now calls her, "Marcia Mouse". He also makes the "eek-eek" sound when Marcia doesn't respond right away. Who's smart and sweet Einstein? You, the mouse, or Marcia? I vote for you!

Parrot plays game of "monkey see, monkey do"
Monkey See, Monkey Do is an imitation game children play. A child is chosen to be the monkey and everyone else has to imitate what the monkey does. Einstein the parrot decided he wanted to play the game with his stuffed animal that looks like him. His owner holds the stuffed animal and bounces it up and down. Einstein nods his head up and down. Then the owner shakes the stuffed toy back and forth. Einstein imitates the same movement with a cute little shake. He rubs beaks with the toy and accepts kisses on the head too. Einstein, you sure do know how to have a good time!

Parrot loves to have raspberries blown on him
Einstein the parrot and his owner share a special bond. There is a huge level of trust between the two of them. Einstein allows Jeff to turn him upside down in his hands and them while holding onto his finger, Jeff blows raspberries into his chest and on top of his head. (Blowing raspberries is a fun game usually done to a child to make them laugh.) Most birds would take this as an act of aggression, and react in a defensive manner, biting the owner. However, Einstein loves to have this done to him. Jeff is careful not to spit on Einstein. Human saliva contains bacteria that you wouldn't want to get on your parrot. After a good dose of raspberries, Jeff then lays Einstein on the counter for a spin on his back. This is just a fun game that Einstein enjoys doing.

Sociable parrot makes friends with parrot stuffed animal
Einstein the parrot is not sure who this rather large and fuzzy creature who looks similar to him is doing on his bathroom counter. After giving it a kiss on the beak, he takes a second look and performs a cute little dance for his new friend. Einstein moves in again for a second kiss. However, his friend is not responding to his advances. His owner helps the relationship along by holding the toy and giving Einstein head scratches with it. This is how another bird would react if it wasn't a toy. Einstein is intrigued as he runs to the mirror-like a shy little boy. He reaches up to hold the new friend's foot and to give it another kiss.

This toy is not a "safe" toy for a parrot. Einstein will not be allowed to play with it unsupervised. Nor, is it intended to be a companion for Einstein. It is simply an enrichment activity that introduces new things to Einstein so that he remains accepting of new things in his environment. Otherwise, African Grey parrots like Einstein can become very phobic and territorial. Why don't you give Einstein a real bird for a companion? We could, but not for breeding purposes. There are already too many parrots living in rescues and sanctuaries. A parrot such as Einstein can live to be 50 or 60 years old. Many larger parrots like Macaws can live to be 100 years old. Einstein the Parrot longs to visit an old friend
They say an elephant never forgets. The same can be said about a parrot! One day while perched on top of the shower, Einstein proclaimed he wanted to visit a parrot friend. "See you later, sweetie!", he said to his owner. "Wanna go for a car ride. Wanna go see Sonny!". Sonny was another African Grey parrot just like Einstein and he and his family had to move far away about 18 years ago. Einstein enjoyed their time together and thought it was "Pretty cool!" The trip must be planned for "funny tomorrow and we aren't sure what the funny chicken is about, but one thing is for sure, Einstein sends his love to Sonny!

Living with a parrot is a big commitment. Parrots live a very long time.
A parrot such as Einstein can live to be 50 or 60 years old. Many larger parrots like Macaws can live to be 100 years old. They all require a lot of care, proper nutrition, training, time and patience. Parrots need a lot of attention and lots of toys and activities to keep from being bored. It is often said, "Having a parrot is much like raising a 2 or 3 year old child for the rest of your life!"

Talking parrot flawlessly imitates the sound of water
African grey parrots are known for their uncanny ability to imitate the sound and Einstein the parrot incredibly imitates the sound of water. Perch on his play swing, he asks, for water, then makes the sound! "Want this one?" He asked as if offering you a drink. He holds his foot to his beak as if to take an imaginary drink. "It's good" he proclaims, then after a clicking sound, he says "drink of water". Finally, he hilariously imitates a gulping sound that he has heard his owners make when drinking water. This is very unusual as parrots don't naturally make this sound when drinking.
