Great Smoky Mountains Fly Fishing - Paying for Good Days
ALL the rivers are high, flash floods happened, got Memorial Day weekend off, want to catch fish but where? Great Smoky Mountains NP of course! I go up high to the small tributaries that drain quickly and try to catch some trout on Dry Flies. I did but they were SMALL so we had a Dink Fest. I promise you Beauty, very small Trout, and a LOT of people. Hope you enjoy another Smokies MisAdventure! Thanks for watching! More important...Thanks to the Women and Men who have laid down their Lives for Freedom, our Rights, and the Republic of the USA! We owe them a debt that can never be repaid. The least we can do is Remember Them. God Bless America!
Extra Extra, Read All About It! There will be a Sequel. Yeah, still Paying.

Fly Fishing for Smallmouth Bass in the River by Canoe
One of my favorite Smallmouth Bass Rivers was CLEAR last Saturday! It usually is not so I took the Canoe and the Fly Rod for a 5 mile float and caught some Bronze Beauties. However, I had to pay the price and got into 2 thunderstorms, dodged countless tubers, and the fish were NOT predictable and would not be patterned. i caught some anyway and had a Ball doing it. Come join me on a float down a great river for some really decent Smallies...on the Fly of course! Thanks for Watching!

Old School Style | Fly Fishing for Trout
Yep, I tried me dry flies and caught a couple but it was NOT happening! So I dug in my back pocket and found a very old playbook technique that still works today. Yes, I fished a Wet Fly like they did back in the 1800s. Yeah, like those Gents back in the day who were fishing in Top Hats, Vests, and Bamboo Rods etc., etc. I'm talking OLD SCHOOL! Had a blast on one of my favorite rivers and...Guys n Gals...sit back and enjoy. The Scenery, the bigger fish, the just Awesomeness of it all. Can't wait to go back! Thanks for watching! Love you You'All!

Slow Water Spooky Trout on Size 20 Midge Dry Fly Fishing
Had a couple of hours late last Sunday afternoon so I went to an old favorite creek in Nantahala National Forest to Fly Fish for some wild brown trout. I found some in a long slow pool sipping small midges in size 20 and 22. Very spooky fish and a stealthy approach and soft landing accurate were the order of the day. Come along with me as I stalk some rising trout in slow shallow water. No mistakes tolerated by Mr Brown Trout! Thanks for watching!

Great Smokies Fly Fishing Crowd Control
Great Smokey Mountain National Park Fly Fishing for Trout! It's Saturday, in the Smokies, in the Spring, and the weather is PERFECT so everyone and their brother are out trout fishing. I had to battle the Crowd to find a spot to fish but I managed and got into them for a while then it was back to dodging the Crowd. I even hiked up 2.5 or so miles and still could not quite get away from the competition. Hope you guys enjoy the video! Thanks for stopping by and watching the madness!

Fly Fishing Great Smoky Mountains NP | Wintertime Slim Pickins
Every time I get back from a successful Everglades trip...I must pay my sacrifice to the fish gods and that usually involves several trout trips that are a GRIND. This time it was no different. If I got to pay my dues then why not do it in Great Smoky Mountain NP, right? So I try some streamer fishing and try other different flies and at the bottom of the 9th, last 2 hours of day light, I score a few runs on a Grey Caddis Dry Fly. Stay tuned till the very end to watch me battle a nice brownie from another (GRIND) trip. Thanks for watching and hope to see you on the water sometime!
Winter Trout on Yellow Jacket Dry Flies
I kid you NOT! I went fishing in a new creek for mountain trout. I expected about what I got...small fish but funny thing is the fish got bigger as I fished and I was catching them on a size 12 Yellow Jacket Dry Fly...THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS! Watch till the end cause the biggest(least smallest) fish was the last one caught and that was after the outtro. Thanks for watching and enjoy the lunacy!
