Everglades Fly Fishing Ep 5 | Secret Pond Snook n Tarpon
If at first you don't succeed, try try again. So I did. I found a hard to get to Secret Pond and fished it 2 mornings with no much to show for my efforts. However, I did spot some massive Snook so I went back the last 2 hours of daylight and did much better. Fly Fishing for Snook and Tarpon in the Everglades is just so much fun even if no bigg'ns were landed. Thanks for watching and enjoy the Action!

Everglades Fly Fishing ep 2 | Tarpons Night Out
I learned so much about Poons! I really believe they are aliens from another planet. They pretty much ignored me and then I figured some things out and eventually connected. Nothing big and not a lot but my friends, I learned a lot. The Everglades never ceases to amaze me. I love it. Hey you'all come with me as I go back to school and learn about Tarpon on the fly. Thanks for watching!

Ya just can't do a Glades fishing trip without at least taking a couple of hours playing with the Peacock Bass. So I spent the last hour and a half of one day doing just that and here is what happened. The love flies, they strike hard, they will try to break your rod, and they are drop dead gorgeous...what is not to love! Come join me as I Fly Fish for Peacock Bass in the Everglades!

New Challenge | Fly Fishing for Redfish
I've dabbled in the past but now I'm going all in. Started climbing another learning curve of Fly Fishing for Redfish. I live in SC and we have a really good population of Redfish on our coast. It's a 3-4 hour drive but when conditions are bad for trout I got another option. Yeah, a plan B. So this video is my start of getting serious about Redfish. They get big and readily take a fly in shallow water...what's not to love about that! So come join me as I do some Trial and a lot of Error as I learn to catch Redfish on a Fly from a Canoe. Thanks for watching!

Great Smoky Mountains - New River with Old Friends!
Camped with some old friends and went chasing those trouts in the Smokies with the Fly Rod. Fished a new to me river. Not a lot of fish caught. We got up late and must have fished after people had hit the river earlier that morning but had fun and WOW, found a new favorite river! Thanks for watching!

Great Smoky Mountains - More Exploring the River for Trout!
Hello fellow fishermen! Thanks for stopping by. Today we do more exploring on the same trout stream in the Great Smoky Mountains that I explored a few videos ago! I fish a section I had never layed eyes on before so the discovery is still going on. The weather changed and the day started off extremely slow so I reached in my back pocket and took out a tried and true tactic to save the day. That evening the trout started hitting on top so all around a great day on the water. Thanks for watching and enjoy the show!

Not in NC anymore Toto | Fly Fishing for Brook Trout in a Special Place
I was driving up to the NC mountains to go trout fishing and some last energy from tropical storm Fred came down in a tornado. It picked up my trusty steed (the MR2) and I and deposited us in a strange land. A strange but beautiful land filled with Brook Trout! First I made sure I wasn't wearing a red shirt (Star Trek Security who always die first) then I turned on my TriCorder and started Fly Fishing for Brook Trout. So stop what ya doing, grab a drink, and come join me on an adventure to another world. If I had a dog, I would have said "Toto, I have a feeling were not in North Carolina anymore". Thanks for watching!

Great Smoky Mountains - Exploring new Fly Fishing Spots for Trout
I go exploring in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in a Trout Stream that has been on my radar for 35 years! Did it live up to my expectations? Yes it did. The scenery is top shelf, the trout were eager and abundant, and I just had the time of my life. No big ones were caught but all fish were caught on dry flies. Come join me as I explore a new found favorite Great Smoky Mountains Trout Stream. Thanks for watching!

Dog Days of Summer Bass on the Fly - Earning every Scale!
Tropical Storm Fred rolled thru leaving everything high and muddy. Luckily, I know a pond that never gets muddy so having only one option for my trip, I headed out to brave the heat, humidity, and just downright miserableness of August Dog Days of Summer. Armed with my trust deer hair poppers and a TFO Pro 8wt, I managed a few fish under the scorching hot sun. Hope you guys enjoy the journey with me as I earn every scale as I Fly Fish for Large Mouth Bass. It starts off slow but gets much better later. As always...Thanks for Watching!

Great Smoky Mountains NP - Fly Fishing for Trout - Feeding my Addiction!
After my misadventure last time, I went back to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to fish a stream I had only fished a couple of pools way back over 20 years ago. I have had this watershed on my list for 30 years and finally got to spend a whole day. It was hot, humid, and early August making for a challenging setting. I caught some fish, saw some Elk and just had a great time. Come join me on a GSMNP Fly Fishing Adventure!

Trout, Bears, Concerts, Rattlers, Old freinds, and SCENERY!
Got together with an old friend for a weekend of fly fishing for trout and a rock concert. However, we managed a mama bear with cubs in our campsite Sunday morning (sorry, no video of that), almost stepped on a rattlesnake, caught a few...and I stress the word FEW trout. Had a great time even tho I missed the concert due to Covid test results coming in too late. Also spent Sunday in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Come along and join me for some really fantastic scenery! Thanks for watching!

Fly Fishing for Small Mouth Bass - Finally! Success!
The last several times I have gone after small mouth bass on the fly, I have struggled and struck out. So, I went to a stream over 3 hours from the house that I knew was clear and had a bunch of small 12 to 10" fish and managed to catch a few. Hope you guys enjoy the video! I enjoyed making it!

Southeast Sweltering Summertime Fly Fishing for Trout with Terrestrials
It was Hot! I could have fried eggs on the exposed rocks! I fish a wild trout stream using Bee, Grasshopper, and Beetle patterns. While the weather was sizzling and humid, there was still a trout bite to be had. The bite was not as hot as the weather but I caught some fish and had a ball! Come with me as I revisit an old flame of a river where I learned to fly fish for trout on over 30 years ago.

Rod Review Orvis Encounter Rod Reel Combo 9ft 8wt 4pc
Went on an 8 day trip to South Florida and forgot my Fly Rods! Found a Bass Pro Shop in Fort Meyers and bought the cheapest Fly Rod n Reel Outfit they had. Rod, Reel, Line, Backing, and Leader already put together for $175 or so. Figured I might as well do a rod review. This is NOT a stupid unboxing video. This review is based on real world experience casting bass and saltwater flies in high winds. BTW, worth every penny. Thanks for watching!

Small Creek Small Trout equals Fun Times!
Back to trout in small creeks! It was a pretty if cold weekend and everyone and their brother was out and way too many of them were fishing so I found a stretch that was not being bothered. The fish started out slow and lethargic but as the temps warmed...they just couldn't resist a fly on top. Tight quarters fin to rod combat. A Brawl in the Brook!

Great Smoky Mountains National Park - A Fly Fishing Misadventure
I spent a weekend in the Smokies fly fishing for smallies and trout. A lot of strikes, refusals, lost fish and very few trout landed. I had a lot of fun even if frustrated. I almost didn't even make this video but hey, might as well show the real side of fly fishing where things don't go quite as you had hoped. That being said there is great scenery. If ya never been to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, stop what ya doing and go now. It is special.

A Word on Wading Boots - Korkers Redsides
Today I review the Korker's Redside Wading Boots. I have used these for around 4+ years and they are hands down the best wading boot I have ever owned. So if you are shopping for new boots and the vast array of options on the market are leaving you a little dazed and confused...here is what I have used and absolutely love and works great for me. They will have to be pried off my cold dead feet!
