Newfoundland finally realizes his water instincts
Newfoundlands have been bred over many years to learn to work in the water. They have a natural instinct to rescue children and to retrieve objects. Samson, who weighs about 160 pounds, has been active around the pool when people are in it but not until this video did he ever go in on his own. He has only attempted swimming with his owner a handful of times and was too scared to really try. It seems Samson finally reached the point where he faced his fears. At first, Samson goes straight for his best friend Sierra, but he must have noticed her fear at his huge sloshing body heading towards her. So, he next attempted to retrieve his toy. He clumsily gets to the deep end and decides he better go back and regroup. He immediately decides to try again and successfully brings his toy out of the pool. On his second try, it is clear he is already getting a more smooth and strong stroke and becoming a good swimmer. Well done Samson!

Little girls get covered with friendly birds
Watch this video very carefully. How many birds does the Sierra the little girl have? Somehow, every time the camera pans away a bird magically appears. It’s almost too quick to believe it’s real. Even Sierra is confused when she realizes how many birds are on her arm. It looks like trick photography but it’s actually a real video. These birds should start a show in Las Vegas!

Newfoundland cries when he hears owner's voice through security camera
Samson the Newfoundland’s owner went away for a while leaving him with the rest of the family back home. Samson’s owner caught him on the security camera and couldn’t resist saying hello to him. She instantly regretted it as he began to cry into the camera making it very clear he missed her. Animals display such raw love, what a wonderful boy!

Little girl explains Sacajawea to her Newfoundland
Not everyone knows that Lewis and Clark has a Newfoundland sidekick on their great expedition. But, here we can see little Sierra explaining her understanding of history and relating it to her very own Newfoundland dog Samson, who seems to love the attention. Sierra may not have all her historical facts correct, but she and her pup end up having a great time playing together! Thanks for the history lesson Sierra!

Samson the 150 pound Newfoundland was dutifully watching over Sierra’s gymnastic bar session when he noticed something out of the ordinary. His owner was trying to capture the cute moment between the two but was caught and ultimately blocked by Samson! Good job watching over Sierra, Samson!

Little girl disappears behind her giant puppy
Samson and Sierra are at it again, playing fetch in the yard on a beautiful spring day. If you listen close you can hear some classic Sierra lines like “Get ready for the thunder!” as Samson runs up to her. Then, when Sierra asks Samson to sit, she wasn’t expecting him to turn around and actually sit on her lap! This ends up being Sierra’s “dream day!” These two love making happy memories together.

Newfoundland Loves Spending Time Outdoors With His Friend
This is our most adorable and famous Newfoundland named Samson. Sierra and Samson are an incredible duo who love to spend time together a lot since Sierra was a little girl. It is evident that Sierra and her gentle giant Sebastien have an extraordinary bond. Over the years, the little girl has taught her big dog how to play hide and seek, and it is the sweetest thing ever!
They do everything together they play games, they celebrate each others birthdays, Sierra loves giving baths to Samson and in return Samson always keeps an eye on her when she is near the pool.
We know that Samson is a huge dog but, we know that his heart is, even more, bigger, and he shows that to Sierra every day. Just take a look at this video and see how much fun they have together and how much they love each other. Are those happy tears in your eyes?
Sierra and Samson do everything together. Now that Summer is getting closer, and they are spending time outside getting sun and playing fetch. Watch Samson as he keeps hopping onto the lounge chair with Sierra, seemingly unaware of his size or Sierra’s personal space! It looks like another happy day for Sierra and Samson.
I think this video might take the crown for cutest video on the Internet right now! What could be any cuter than a kid getting some serious fun time with his best four-legged friend who is the most incredible duo ever? We can genuinely say that these are the videos that make us believe even more than the bond between a dog and a kid is the strongest.
What we like the most about Samson is that he acts like a baby. To give an illustration to that here is a video of Samson jumping into Sierra’s lap because he is scared of car rides. What a big baby!
He then spots a crow outside the car which only causes him to become more nervous. While mom is concerned about Samson's 150 pounds hurting Sierra, the little girl is only concerned with comforting Samson and getting mom to drive so that he's no longer frightened by the crow.
The whole car scene causes the dog to flatten his ears, whimper, and run and hide. He is afraid to sit in his own seat, so he clings to this little girl and takes half of her seat.

Newfoundland proves to be excellent at hide-and-seek
Samson the 160 pound Newfoundland loves to play with his best friend Sierra. Today Sierra is hiding and Samson happily seeks her out. Once he finds her, watch how he puts his head down to alert his owner of Sierra’s location. It’s a clever and adorable signal. These two will likely come up with many more signals and ways to communicate as they grow up!

Adorable training fail for giant Newfoundland pup
Sierra is trying to get Samson her gigantic Newfoundland dog to do a trick. Samson has figured out Sierra won’t get too mad at him if he just bulldozes his way to the treat. Sierra laughs hysterically as she knows Samson will still be careful not to hurt her as he makes his way to the treat. Maybe next time Sierra, keep up the training!

Game of peek-a-boo turns into chaos for giant Newfoundland
Sierra and her giant Newfoundland loves to play peek-a-boo. The only problem is, once Samson gets excited about the game, nothing is safe. Even though Samson is 3 years old, his exuberance is that of a 12 week puppy. What makes this even more adorable is that Samson weighs 160 pounds and is definitely not a puppy. Sierra seems to know how to get out of the way when her gigantic best friend explodes in a burst of energy. Unfortunately, the furniture can’t escape!

Two Newfoundlands engage in precious tug-of-war
Samson and Ollie engage in the cutest tug of war ever over an emoji pillow. These two powerful dogs could potentially do a lot of damage to that pillow very quickly, but this appears to be a gentle match between the two. Samson seemed to give up but when Ollie claimed his win by giving himself permission to jump on the sofa, Samson seemed to have a change of heart! Samson shakes his head “no” as if he’s trying to tell Ollie he didn’t play fair. Poor Samson, but it’s certain he will get his chance for victory again.

Huge Newfoundland makes bedtime an amazing experience
What child (or adult) wouldn’t love to jump into there bed fort and wait for their giant puppy to join them for a peaceful slumber? With Samson, the 150 pound Newfoundland, the slumber might not always be peaceful but he does make it unpredictable and fun. After unsuccessfully trying to fit his gigantic body into the tent, Samson decides he’s done trying and ends up ripping off the entire tent from the bed. Sierra is a good sport and will most likely come up with more ideas to get Samson to stay with her as she goes to sleep. Sweet dreams you two!

Huge Newfoundland demands his freedom
Samson the Newfoundland is not ready for his playmate Sierra to go to school. Today, he has decided to try a different tactic by distracting his owner and making it impossible to leave. He hilariously runs around as fast as he can, and even clumsily falls for a minute because he can’t control his own speed! Sierra just watches from a safe distance and enjoys the attempts. She isn’t in a hurry to get to school either. Do Samson’s attempts work? Sorry puppy, not today.

Huge Newfoundland makes it hard for little girl to enjoy gift
It’s Christmas Day and Sierra can’t wait to try out her new art set, filled with paints and chalks and colored pencils. But, her giant puppy Samson the Newfoundland doesn’t seem to understand the value of this gift and steps all over it just trying to be close to his friend Sierra. Sierra is getting frustrated as she is afraid he is breaking her new gift but restrains herself and moves Samson’s toy away in hopes he will follow it. Unfortunately, Samson has spotted the water Sierra intends to use with her paints and he proceeds to start drinking it! Sorry Sierra, hopefully Mom stepped in to help your budding art career!

Is there something that this guard dog can sense?
Dogs can often sense big or small threats better than people. Today we think Samson is sensing a threat that is small, maybe very small. Watch Samson loudly warn his owner of the dire threat and then hesitantly go outside to check it out. Once Samson has cleared the area, he seems to calm down and possibly reflect on what a good job he did today of protecting his house. Good Samson!

Newfoundland makes enjoying Christmas movie impossible
When the holiday season comes, who doesn’t love to get cozy and enjoy their favorite Christmas flicks? Unfortunately, Samson the very big and very loud Newfoundland doesn’t respect this time honored tradition. Samson is more interested in warning the world that there is a squirrel on the TV and something must be done about it! Hilarious!
