While visiting the Big Island of Hawaii we decided to go see a luau at the Royal Kona resort in Kona. It was a great luau with a beautiful ocean backdrop and it ended with the amazing talent of this fire dancer.

They beautiful bison statues are located all along the Main Street of Custer, each one is unique.

We recently took a trip to see the Painted Desert on Arizona, it did not disappoint! It’s hard to believe all the colors one sees!

In June we rode the Cumbres Toltec railroad, it was an all day trip with a delicious lunch break off of the train halfway through the ride. I really enjoyed this ride it was so scenic and fun, I highly recommend it!

A few years back we visited the Grand Canyon in March, there was snow and the Elk seemed to be enjoying it!

Rode this train and enjoyed stunning landscapes! We took the 9 a.m. train, spent 2 hours in Silverton having lunch then back on the train for the ride back! It made for a very fun day!

Burney Falls is located in Shasta County in California, it is truly beautiful!

While visiting Utah we came up on these petroglyphs, they are quite faded.

While riding near Silverton we decided to ride to Hurricane Pass, great ride and stunning scenery!

We recently visited Monument Valley and had to take the short drive to see the Valley of the Gods, it did not disappoint!

Gooseneck is the smallest state park in Utah and frankly the smallest state park I have ever seen. You can stand at one end and see it all, it is approximately 5 acres if that! The draw is the view below, it costs $5.00 to see this amazing view!

Last week we visited Mesa Verde and went on this hike, it was 2.5 miles and not too difficult (be sure to burping drinking water with you.) It was very interesting to see first hand and to hear the information the Rangers had to share.

Last week we spent four days in Mesa Verde national Park, this is the longhouse tour. There are several other tours that you can normally go on however at this time they were closed I think probably due to Covid. The longhouse tour was a total of 2.4 miles and was a pretty easy walk. When you get to the longhouse you have an hour to explore.

I was videoing the train when they Sounded the five minute warning, after that five minutes have past if you are not on the train you are left on the mountain top until the next day so needless to say I got on the train.

For Father’s Day we boarded this train and spent the day relaxing and enjoying the passing scenery. Our ride included a delicious all you can eat in an hour turkey dinner, salad, tea or lemonade and dessert! We saw deer and Elk and a lot of several fishermen,It was a great way to Spend the day!

Docent on the Cumbres and Toltec railroad told us a bit of history with a grin after we passed over the trellis.

We took our RZR out for a day ride in the back country of Colorado and were pleasantly surprised to find all these wild flowers!
