The Holsinger meteor fragment is the largest fragment of the Meteor Crater ever found. This is the real thing not a recreation.

Meteor Crater is a very impressive crater that is the result if a meteor striking earth fifty thousand years ago! The guided tour is a short very windy walk (the crater creates its own vortex of wind) which is both informative and fun!

One of the spots old planes go after they are no longer sky worthy.

This is just a small amount of gulls that were on that beach, a few moments earlier a whale had breached not too far out, it was a very eventful walk!

A couple of years ago we went to see the Blue Angels flying in the bay of San Francisco, we noticed it liked to fly near the flag so we headed over there right in time to see them do an amazing fly by!

Black Hill Central Railroad goes round trip from Hill City to Keystone and back! Is is an authentic 1880 steam locomotive. The ride is fun, relaxing and educational, if you get the chance check it out!

We were waiting to get into our camping spot when these guys showed up and entertained us with their skills behind the wheel.

I noticed a blue jay helping himself to a few kernels of cat food so I set up the GoPro to see if I could capture his antics.

While enroute to the store I came up on all these birds, had to photograph them!

Kitty wanted in so I decided to play a bit with him, he snatched my pen so I let him in...he was much faster than I was!

Took our rides out for a day of fun in the back country of Arizona, great way to spend a day or two or three!

Heading back down the mountain we get a nice view of the water, this tour including a very nice lunch was about 4 hours.

In this video we are arriving at the cabin for a really delicious lunch, great hospitality and warm cocoa to boot!

Several years back we were on a cruise and signed up for this little tour, it was much tamer than what we are used to but it was a bunch of fun and the meal we were serve at mid point was wonderful! All in all it was a fun way to spend a day!

We were there to capture the rock and sunset when a trio of playful seals swam by.

After a day of hiking we decided to check out the tide pools, we were way too late as the tide was coming in. There is a wonderful bluff hike and several tide pool areas.

Buffalo Gap NG is right next door to the Badlands National Park in South Dakota. We camped there for a week and loved it, it is windy at times and there are some interesting lighting and rain storms so it may not be for everyone. One of my favorite things about it was the night sky, oh my goodness you could see more stars there then I have seen almost anywhere.

I set up a trail camera near our vehicle because I had seen tracks and wondered who was visiting, turns out it was this little quite curious little fox.

While not this was unexpected, I caught a thirsty dog on my trail camera. We had been camping in the Tahoe National Forest and I was actually hoping to capture the sandhill cranes that frequent that pond.

While out camping in Arizona I caught this little fox like animal, I am really not sure what it is if anyone knows please let me know in the comments.

This raccoon seemed to be busy sniffing around when he seemed to have either heard or sensed something as he rises up and looks around.

While visiting Lassen National Park I captured this very curious deer who decided to look right into the camera.

Years ago we were visiting Daffodil Hill (California park now closed) and were being amused by the peacocks when we saw this beautiful one with is feathers fully displayed as he was flirting with a female, suddenly another male charged him and chased him off!

A drive through the tunnel (which is pretty cool in and of its self) which will come lead right to the ever famous tunnel view everyone wants to photograph when they visit the park. I really enjoyed the tunnel, it is lone and a portion of it is natural rock!

As we were biking the coastline near the boardwalk in Santa Cruz, California we heard the water spout so of course we went in search of it! It was one of the most unique ones I have seen because it was man made, I hope you enjoy seeing it too!
