This classification entitles him to greater rights, privileges, and access to more humane treatment, including placement in an open prison. Yet, the government continues to deny him these rights, leaving him isolated and in conditions that are a blatant violation of his human rights. Isolation of this kind is not only unwarranted but deeply damaging to Tommy’s mental health. Prolonged solitary confinement is recognized internationally as inhumane and degrading, and its use in Tommy’s case raises serious questions about the fairness and transparency of his treatment. If he is entitled to the freedoms and privileges of a Category D prisoner, why are these rights being withheld? This petition calls on the government to uphold its duty of care and ensure Tommy Robinson is treated fairly and lawfully. By signing, you are helping to demand that Tommy be moved to an open prison where he can access the rights and conditions he is entitled to. Let’s not allow systemic injustice and human rights violations to go unnoticed. We must add that in fairness to the prison warden and staff, they are treating Tommy with respect and care as much as they can.
