Cops need to stop putting their hands on everyone for no real reason. Did they find any bud? No, so was this a Pretextual stop? A fishing expedition? Like ok hos insurance was expired and he didn't have the current card in the car. Write the tickets and let em go. But no they extended the stop over over made up probable cause. This happened about 2 years back, but it was crazy and I haven't seen it anywhere, so i figured I would share it. This guy said he was an army veteran of 21 years. his profile says he retired in 2016. Cops got a call from the neighbor saying there's a guy looking in the windows at the house next door, and he doesn't know who it is. No crime there. So the cops instead of showing uo and knocking on the door and try and figure out what's going in decide trying to get the kids id before knowing if there is a crime on not is the way to go. You could hear the officers really believed that it was ok and the right thing to do. Stuff like this happens every day all across this country, and the public needs to see it. This happened on 10/20/22. This man was traveling when he was pulled over for his "temp tag" because the cop didn't understand how the temp tags worked in the state it was issued in, not the state they were currently in. The cop should have released them as soon as he found out it was legit and that they actually weren't doing anything wrong. But instead we got quite the opposite.and despite the cop making them out to be sooo sooo bad I honestly think they were fine and handled this very very well considering the circumstances. I went out for a walk on January 1st. Ended up strolling up on this call, which was to help someone retrieve their property. As soon as I got their karen, they started telling on us for legal things and trying to have us trespassed from the road? The cops did ok and what they were supposed to. The kid ended up getting his property, and as they were leaving of course one of the officers had to ruin it. I said thanks, and the Cornwall walked right past me like I said nothing. West Virginia State Police stopped a car and decided to search it. While searching it, one of the suspects decided to take off. They not only got away initially, but they were still looking at the end. I figured they would have caught him quick, not like he was a speed runner. The guy was at the right time t9 catch this, I can't remember the last time I saw an auditor catch someone taking off. What are your thoughts? this man was traveling in Nevada when he was stopped for speeding. instead of writing him hos ticket or warning him and sending him on his way, they called for a dog and said the dog hot for drugs. they proceeded to search the vehicle and find not a thing, so they gave him a warning. cops can't just prolong stops and call dogs for no reason. even know they can't they do, every day across thos country and people need to see it and realize it and start holding them accountable. this is for news and educational purposes. This has been an ongoing issue with the court for the last month, month, and a half. They don't know how to lark properly. They abuse the handicap and the police parking only areas. It's sad that the employees think it's acceptable. The police, the state police no one except the parking commission, can ticket these guys. So we called Friday and got hung up on, so we went in person. After meeting with the town manager, she encouraged me to call any time I see them parked wrong. I had no hope or faith in them. But I called today and look Pablo came through and hot 3 of em off. It's just about what's right and what's fair. These people are no better than any of us, so they should stop acting like they are they work for us. they ticketed them Monday and Tuesday and stopped. even though they haven't stopped parking there. so they've probably gotten in cahoots. The baby prosecutor probably called down there crying like he did on the phone to me. lol I called for something completely dif.
