Butterflies are considered great luck when seen. Universally the butterfly is symbolic of metamorphosis, rebirth and renewal, beauty and the transitory nature of beauty itself. There are various superstitions around butterflies. However, the most common one is that they are indication of good luck.

These Braconid wasps may not be household names, but they perform irreplaceable jobs that illustrate why it's worth living and growing food in a balanced, biodiverse ecosystem. The female braconid wasp deposits her eggs inside the hornworm caterpillar's body. As the wasp larvae develop they feed inside the caterpillar. The tiny adult wasps emerge from these cocoons a short time later.
