We walked over to Chuck's hole to move a rock and noticed he was sticking his head out of his hole and was watching us. We talked to him... he didn't leave. I went back to the house to get him a couple of carrots and you can see what happened next in this video. We're hoping that someday he will take a carrot right out of our hands! Look at who just woke up from his winter nap! We saw him out across the lawn at his hole under the trees, so we put some veggies out on his little porch by the shed (he has a hole in the shed, too) and he found it! We are also on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@RuralCam

This beautiful fox has been spotted briefly in our bird food area from time to time, but this is the first time it has hung around for so long- almost 4 minutes! We are also on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@RuralCam

Winter birds flock to the food, then get scared off, then come right back. I don't know what these birds are called, but they only come when there is snow. They recently left when most of the snow melted during warmer weather and when it started snowing again, they came back! We are also on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@RuralCam

Enjoy the sounds of hundreds of migrating Canadian geese as they land in the field at sunset. They get louder and louder as the video goes along.
