Decided to go with a store bought Ice rink this year which was smaller in size but less hassle this year. Youngest ones still have fun skating on it.

Finished our tour of the Hockey Hall of Fame with the sectuion on International Hockey. Quite a few surprises there.

Looking at all the jerseys from different eras including defunct teams. as well as, some of donated equipment.

The HHOF has a replica of the Montreal Canadians dressing room with all the most famous Habs. Not a lot of Leafs memorabilia compared to Montreal's. Just goes to show you that the Leafs suck.

Check out the Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzky exhibit at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Took part of the family to see the HHOF during induction weekend. Tickets were sold out for the special events but there was still plenty to see.

First time back to the Pickerel since 1990. Used to spend at least a week here every summer as a kid camping and fishing. A lot has changed in 31 years and I didn't even recognize it.

Stopped in Parry Sound to visit the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame.

Visited the memorial to Canadian First Nations soldier, politician and activist. He was the most highly decorated Indigenous soldier in Canadian military history and the most effective sniper of the First World War. Three times awarded the Military Medal and seriously wounded, he was an expert marksman and scout, credited with killing 378 Germans and capturing 300 more

We Residence Inn by Marriott in Gravenhurst which is right on the Wharf. Nice view of the Lake and the tour ships.

Visited Bala, the cranberry capital of Ontario. This quiet little village has a nice waterfall and ties to Lucy Maud Montgomery of "Anne of Green Gables" fame.

The sheer power of water moving through is awesome. I scared the hell out of the wife by going past the boundary to get as close as possible.

Stopped for some Ice Cream and a quick walk to this picturesque waterfall on our trip up North.

Traveled up to Bracebridge to see the High Falls.

Arrived in Gravenhurst and walked the Peninsula Trail that was right behind our Hotel. A nice way to end the day after a long drive.

A vIsit to Discovery Harbour, Penetanguishene. Too bad it was closed on Friday.

Went through Wasaga to find the schooner Nancy but got chased out by security after hopping some bushes. Beach there was beautiful and learned about the ayling-reid flight.
