#WhiteCounty authorities are providing more information after a teen was found dead early in July 2024. Police said 17-year-old #BrendonBerryhill was shot and killed Saturday at a #CircleK in White County near #Judsonia #Arkansas . Authorities said the investigation began after a White County deputy found Berryhill’s body in the middle of Salem Church Road while patrolling the area around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday. “When he observed a van run over what he then saw was a body lying in the road,” Lt. Scott Seiders said. Seiders said the deputy found gunshot wounds on the victim, later identified as #Berryhill, and discovered he was dead before the car struck him. Officials said they later discovered that was the second crime scene. “Unfortunately, it took a while to learn that, and that’s because a gas station attendant came forward, and called us and told us that something had happened,” Seiders said. Authorities said video evidence shows Berryhill parked at the Circle K gas station on Highway 13 when another car parked beside him, eventually resulting in an argument. According to police, the video shows Berryhill driving away before one suspect fires at him, followed by a second suspect firing before driving off. Deputies said they believe Berryhill then drove himself to the #SalemChurch Road area. “There is someone close to him that was in that area, we think he was trying to make contact with them when he expired,” Seiders said. In between deputies putting the pieces together, police said the suspects’ vehicle led Judsonia officers on a chase, with the officers unaware of the initial shooting at the gas station. After that chase ended without an arrest, officials said another pursuit occurred involving several other agencies, including #ArkansasStatePolice who ended it in #CrittendenCounty. Police said the driver was taken into custody for several traffic offenses. “Unfortunately, I think this could’ve been solved a lot faster if the public had come forward quicker, there were people at the gas station when this happened, and they didn’t call,” Seiders said. Seiders said homicides are rare in White County but happen enough that deputies have the experience needed to investigate them. “We’ve issued four arrest warrants for four different individuals, two of them are currently in custody, and the marshals have been informed of the other two and are assisting with that search, they are not local to White County,” Seiders said. #Indian National Arrested After Mass Groping Spree At #Canadian #Waterpark . A man from India has been arrested after going on a mass groping spree at a waterpark in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada in the latest event of #migrantcrime in #Canada. The incident occurred on July 7 2024 at #MagicMountain, a popular destination for families in eastern Canada to cool off in the summer. While the man’s name has not been released by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (#RCMP), it is known that he is 25 years old, from #India , has an Indian passport, and is registered to live at an address in #Halifax #NovaScotia According to a press release issued by the #Codiac Regional RCMP, officers were dispatched to the waterpark after receiving a report of sexual assault and sexual interference. In Canada, the crime of sexual interference refers to the sexual touching of minors under the age of 16. When police arrived at the scene, they learned that a man had been walking around the premises groping people. The press release asserts there were at least twelve victims, some of whom were under the age of 16. Other victims are being encouraged to come forward. The suspect was arrested at the waterpark and taken in for questioning. He was later released from custody, and is scheduled to appear in #Moncton Provincial Court on October 24. Two #Afghan migrants are facing light sentences after being convicted of raping a young girl and filming the assault. #IrshadAhmad and #ElhamBahram will not face deportation from #Sweden as the two were granted citizenship approximately four years ago. The rape took place in February in the residential #Nydala neighborhood of #Malmö. Armed with a knife, the two migrants – both of whom were 16 years of age – coerced the 13 year old White girl to a hidden spot outdoors. While threatening to murder her if she resisted, the girl was raped by both of the predators. The gang rape was later reported to the police, after which Irshad and Elham were arrested and remanded into custody. There was ample evidence to substantiate the rape, including their DNA being both at the scene and on the girl. But the most damning entry to the court was footage taken on a mobile phone which closely documented the attack. Irshad and Elham reportedly had a friend record them while they assaulted the girl raising the risk of ongoing trauma. During court proceedings, Irshad and Elham denied any wrongdoing, even when faced with the overwhelming evidence. One of them admitted to the sexual acts, but claimed that the girl was consenting. The other, however, attempted to deny his involvement completely while simultaneously arguing he didn’t know the girl’s age.
