Warming and cooling an Erlenmeyer flask to allow crystals to grow on bottom. Easy to distill over and purify.

HCl and Copper carbonate reaction.

Synthetic material that reflects light back at source. Right Angle reflector. It blinds the camera by overwhelming it's contrast.

Lots of bubbles with this reaction. My zinc powder has turned into chunks and needs to be used. Very fun metal. Lots of hydrogen.

Addee more acid and some water then topped it off with some hydrogen peroxide. Adding bubbles to bubbles. Actually the hydrogen is being oxidized by the peroxide into water. Chaos.

The brown specks at the start is iodine. Helps catalyze the reaction. Sodium hydroxide added as base. I cheated and used water to speed things up at the start.

Just checking what came over from my last experiment. Still lots of water. Need to make more and grow crystals on a cold surface.

Mixing potassium iodide with hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide. The acid and peroxide was mixed beforehand in beaker. The results are instant.

Aluminum, water and sodium hydroxide all react to form sodium aluminate and hydrogen gas. Will be making hydrogen this way in the future for upcoming vids.

Solid anhydrous phosphoric acid dropped into solution of sodium hydroxide. Sodium hydroxide aka Lye is caustic and will eat your skin.

Cooked into the glass it did.

Just got this here mixed. What do?

Addition of violet dye into solution. Camera can't see true color.

Just one of the two blue/violet dyes I got. Camera just can't pick up the color this thing gives off

Supercharged with added peroxide and heat. So bright the camera blows out. Just need to get my hands on something else cool. Any suggestions on upcoming vids?

A mix of 2 dyes. Peroxide can be dangerous.

Added even more dye solution. More dye doesn't mean more light or even color
