Is There A Warrior Among Us? | 5.14.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
Is There A Warrior Among Us?
“Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; But much increase comes by the strength of an ox.” Proverbs 14:4 NKJV
No oxen, clean trough
The crib and stable may be easily kept clean where there are few or no oxen: but there is so much advantage arising from tilling the ground, that it is better to have a litter with plenty of oxen, than to have great neatness without them. Some think this is spoken of those who boast much of constant neatness about their houses, &c., which, at the same time, shows they carry on but little business. For where there is much business done, and many persons coming and going, there will necessarily be oftentimes less cleanliness and neatness.
Sometimes we can complain about a dirty church or dirty bathrooms or this or that. But if we never used the bathrooms in a church there would be no people.
Things break because here are people using them.
Having a sword that never gets dirty and being content in that opens a door for an apathetic heart and for a person that never wants to get his sword dirty or enter into battle
Touching people’s lives invades our lives and can be taxing at times and excuses can be made for this invasion of our lives
“Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’” Luke 10:30-35 NKJV
During the times of the Judges we read of Gods Children bound for over 20 years and God hears their cries and looks for help among them. Help was not coming from outside but from within
God speaks to a woman named Deborah and lays out a plan of action for deliverance
“When Ehud was dead, the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. The commander of his army was Sisera, who dwelt in Harosheth Hagoyim. And the children of Israel cried out to the Lord; for Jabin had nine hundred chariots of iron, and for twenty years he had harshly oppressed the children of Israel.” Judges 4:1-3 NKJV
God sought warriors to arise to bring deliverance to more than just themselves
“Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, “Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun; and against you I will deploy Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude at the River Kishon; and I will deliver him into your hand’?” Judges 4:6-7 NKJV
“When leaders lead in Israel, When the people willingly offer themselves, Bless the Lord!”. Judges 5:2 NKJV
A leader must lead and people must follow
Deborah called on Zebulon and Naphtali
“Zebulun is a people who jeopardized their lives to the point of death, Naphtali also, on the heights of the battlefield.”Judges 5:18 NKJV
Prior to this verse we read some disturbing things about those who were settled in apathy and decided to stay away from the battle and turn a cheek to the true condition of their brothers
“And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; As Issachar, so was Barak Sent into the valley under his command; Among the divisions of Reuben There were great resolves of heart. Why did you sit among the sheepfolds, To hear the pipings for the flocks? The divisions of Reuben have great searchings of heart. Gilead stayed beyond the Jordan, And why did Dan remain on ships? Asher continued at the seashore, And stayed by his inlets.”. Judges 5:15-17 NKJV
This verse starts with commending Issachar as princes for their warrior likeness but doesn’t end there
Divisions-would be families or clans
It is a pity that the verse does not end here, for the next clause begins the description of “the malingerers,” whose cowardice or selfishness is triumphantly contrasted with the heroic daring of Zebulon and Naphtali
Malingerers are those who pretend or exaggerate incapacity or illness
Do you know someone who always seems to develop an excuse when there is work to be done ?
The love of ease enervates many a one who should be doing valiantly for the ‘Captain of his salvation.’ The men of Reuben cared more for their sheep than for their nation.
why did Dan remain in ships? the Danites inhabiting Joppa, and other places bordering on the Mediterranean sea, attended their navigation and merchandise; and which they chose rather to do, than to appear in the field of battle in the behalf of their brethren; judging this to be a sufficient excuse,
Asher continued on the sea shore; on the shore of the Mediterranean sea, attending traffic and business, and did not concern themselves at all in this war:
“When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow. Then He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.” And while He was still speaking, behold, a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him. But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” Luke 22:45-48 NKJV
“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” Psalms 94:16 NKJV
“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30 NKJV
At Salvation you have entered into a battle and are training for war
Opposing forces seek to destroy but God raises His Church to display His glory
“to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,” Ephesians 3:10 NKJV
The church with all diversity of gifts and callings must come together in this last hour to place the jewel of a soul In the crown of the savior that the lamb of God lay receive the reward of His suffering
It’s time to enter the battle no matter how unpleasant or how much it messes up our schedule
Our lives must become a drink offering
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price.” I Corinthians 6:19-20

Choosing To Believe A Lie | 5.7.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
Choosing To Believe A Lie
Most people would not choose to believe a lie. The only reason that someone would choose to believe a lie is the truth is too difficult to agree with or comprehend. The problem is is the truth is the truth. The truth doesn’t change based on our emotions or feelings. Truth is truth.
“the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:19-21 NKJV
Jesus said people would choose to believe a lie because they did not want their unrepentant reality to be made known
John 14:6 Jesus said He is THE TRUTH!
Truth definition is “reality” or the reality of a situation!
“Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” John 18:37
So Messiah came into the world to bear witness of the worlds truth reality down idols that we put our trust in, to show us the reality of our situation and the reality of all men
What is the truth? What is mankind’s reality?
Remember John 18:37 said “everyone who is of the truth hears my voice”.
So those who hunger for truth will harken to the truth no matter how hard it is to swallow
Truth, our reality can be hard to swallow
Jesus first message publicly in Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus BEGAN to preach, saying, REPENT! For the kingdom of heaven is at hand
God becomes a man and His first public word to them is to tell them their reality
Their reality is they’re going down a wrong road and to change directions
Man is sinful
Sinful in rebellion against a Holy God therefore Romans 6:23 the truth says this sinful man will die an eternal death
God steps in
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18 NKJV
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 NKJV
This statement was made from an eyewitness of the resurrection of Jesus
Truth our reality, mama reality is they sinful and in rebellion against the holy God, and they stand condemned under judicial law, and will spend an eternity separated from God in hell. The truth, the reality is that God loved the world and gave his son everyone that calls on the name of the lord shall be saved?
“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” John 8:24 NKJV
There is no salvation outside of Jesus! The Bible tells us that because the Jewish people rejected Jesus as Messiah and did not recognize the time of their visitation that they would be judged
“For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”. Luke 19:43-44 NKJV
Not necessarily Gods doing but because they rejected their only salvation that left an open door for the enemy
So it is with our souls if we reject Jesus Messiah, one day, the enemy will come and bring destruction to our lives, and our souls eternally
“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not practice what I tell you? Everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words and obeys them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a [far-sighted, practical, and sensible] man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and yet could not shake it, because it had been securely built and founded on the rock. But the one who has [merely] heard and has not practiced [what I say], is like a [foolish] man who built a house on the ground without any foundation, and the torrent burst against it; and it immediately collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.” Luke 6:46-49 AMP

The Reward for His Suffering | 4.30.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
The Reward for His Suffering
“Now all the tax collectors and sinners [including non-observant Jews] were coming near Jesus to listen to Him. Both the Pharisees and the scribes began muttering and complaining, saying, “This man accepts and welcomes sinners and eats with them.” Luke 15:1-2 AMP
Luke 7:36-50. A sinful woman comes to Jesus and His response to her
How did Jesus treat sinners?
Woman caught in adultery John 8:1
Man healed after 38 years and Jesus says stop winning less something worse come upon you John 5:1
“And Jesus replied to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but [only] those who are sick. I did not come to call the [self-proclaimed] righteous [who see no need to repent], but sinners to repentance [to change their old way of thinking, to turn from sin and to seek God and His righteousness].” Luke 5:31-32 AMP
A hundred sheep- “What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost, [searching] until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he gets home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, because I have found my lost sheep!’ I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.” Luke 15:4-7 AMP
““Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins [each one equal to a day’s wages] and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls together her [women] friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, because I found the lost coin!’ In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents [that is, changes his inner self—his old way of thinking, regrets past sins, lives his life in a way that proves repentance; and seeks God’s purpose for his life].”. Luke 15:8-10 AMP
The Lord came to free sinners!
“She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The Lord is salvation), for He will save His people from their sins.”. Matthew 1:21 AMP
“But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 AMP
“And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” I John 2:2 NKJV
The Lords whole purpose for was fallen sinful humanity. Therefore our whole passion should be His
Our passion must become to see souls saved
It is a true story about two young men who lived long ago in another country who were so sold out to God, they sold themselves into slavery. They had heard of a place that slave-traders owned and worked the land by the hands of the natives who lived there. These evil traders would not allow missionaries anywhere near their slaves. So the two brave missionaries (incognito) sold themselves as lifetime slaves - to preach the gospel.
The young men were to travel on a ship to a small island where three thousand natives lived who had never heard the name of Jesus. Their lives were to be totally in God’s hands - they knew not what the future held. They could be shipwrecked or even killed by the natives upon arrival at the appointed destination. But it did not matter. The young men only knew that Jesus was worthy. Theirs was a mission of winning souls for heaven. The calling was in their hearts and there was no turning back. This was for the Glory of the Holy God.
All of their loved ones came to the harbor on that cold, dark cloudy day to see the boys off as they took voyage. Their families were crying and questioning the wisdom of this commitment. ‘Did God really require the very lives of their sons for His service? Was there not an easier, better way?’ The parents knew their young sons would never return for this was not a temporary arrangement, it was to be for the rest of their lives. Their Mother’s hearts were broken. Their Father’s were stoic and quiet - unable to speak for the large lumps in their throats. Pride burst in their hearts for their son’s dedication to the Lord yet they feared for the boys. The younger siblings were clinging to them in desperation, unable to let go. It was as if a funeral service was being held on the dock that day as the families clung to them for the very last time.
The boys themselves were a little apprehensive and very sad to leave their families - but very sure of their calling and the decision to willingly give their lives to the Living God. Without a tear shed, they boarded the ship waiving and smiling. Their hearts were lightened as the peace of God flooded them. This was God’s will for them both and they knew it, beyond a shadow of a doubt.
As the ship left the harbor the boys were still waiving furiously to their loved ones. It was recorded in history the words that one of them yelled across the ocean as the ship made her way. He said this:
“May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!”
Jesus Christ said: “He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 10:39 KJV.
These young men lost the lives they knew and loved with their families only to find their true lives in Christ and for the sake of the gospel. This is an expression of the lengths a person will go who is truly walking with Christ in every sense. It made me wonder; ‘what I am doing for the reward of His suffering? What are we all doing?’
The Apex of all Christian endeavor must become to place the jewel of a soul in the crown of our Savior that the Lamb of God may receive the reward of His suffering

Fear Brings Destruction | 4.23.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
Fear Brings Destruction
“For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me.”. Job 3:25 NKJV
Let’s find out about Job
Shunned evil -Job 1:1
Great possessions vs 2
God bragged on Job
“Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” Job 1:8 NKJV
So God was bragging on Jobs convictions yet it seems Job had fear while living in the blessing!
Job said the thing that I feared has come upon me
So Job must have lived with the dread of losing this blessedness
Faith and trust in God is not only to be exercised for gaining ground but also maintaining ground.
The same God that got you there is the same God that will keep you there
Philippians 1:6 He that began a good work is faithful to complete it
Fear consumed Job so that he couldn’t fully enjoy the blessing
No doubt either demonically inspired to fear or Job's lack of trust opened the door for unbelief
Fear is lack of trusting God and then self trust will take over and always let us down
The fear Job had created the problem. Just as faith attracts the promise fear attracts what it’s focus is
Our words will most like communicate whether faith or fear is in operation
Proverbs 23:7. As one thinks in his heart so is he
Proverbs 18:21 life and death are in the power of the tongue
Is it possible Job was living in fear and communicating with his mouth those fears to where he would say, “and what I dreaded has happened to me”?
Believing destroys fear! Fear attacks Gods integrity
Isaiah 7:1
Vs 4. Take heed and be quiet and do not fear
Vs 9 if you will not believe surely you shall not be established
‘If ye will not believe the words of the prophet, ye shall not remain.’ It is probable that Ahaz, who was greatly alarmed, and who trembled at the formidable power of Syria and Israel united, received the annunciation of the prophet with much distrust. He was anxious about the means of defense, but did not trust in the promise of God by the prophet. Isaiah, therefore, assures him, that if he did not believe him; if he did not put confidence in God, and his promises, he should not be protected from Syria and Ephraim. They would come and destroy his kingdom. 'You have no occasion,' is the language of the prophet, 'to fear. God has resolved to protect you, and no portion of your land shall be taken by your enemies. Nevertheless, in order that you may obtain deliverance, you must believe his promise, and put your confidence in him, and not in the aid of the Assyrians. If you do this, your mind shall be calm, peaceful, and happy. But if you do “not” do this; if you rely on the aid of Assyria, you shall be troubled, alarmed, unsuccessful, and bring ruin upon yourself and nation.' This, therefore, is an exhortation to confide solely in the promises of God, and is one of the instances constantly occurring in the Old Testament and the New, showing, that by faith or confidence in God only, can the mind he preserved calm when in the midst of dangers.
Faith in God and His promises

Tragedy After Victory | 4.12.23 | Wednesday | On Fire Christian Church
Tragedy after Victory
After 40 years of wondering in the wilderness after being enslaved for over 400 years the children of Israel were going into the promised land. Jericho was holding them back from victory and so they by faith followed God to the letter and saw the walls of Jericho come tumbling down.
Instructions given to Israel upon taking Jericho!
“Now the city shall be doomed by the Lord to destruction, it and all who are in it. Only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. And you, by all means abstain from the accursed things, lest you become accursed when you take of the accursed things, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. But all the silver and gold, and vessels of bronze and iron, are consecrated to the Lord; they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.” Joshua 6:17-19 NKJV
Obedience was required to walk in victory! And at Jericho it was a great victory!
Ai was there next quest!
Chapter 7 starts out with the sin of Israel
“But the children of Israel committed a trespass regarding the accursed things, for Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed things; so the anger of the Lord burned against the children of Israel.” Joshua 7:1 NKJV
They had spied out the land but did not think to spy out tents among them
Many times our own failures lie within our own hearts
Ask questions
They put confidence in the flesh, in a past victory in their own ability. It seemed like an easy land to conquer.
The men were few they said let’s just take 3000. Whether they took the whole army they would have lost. God was not with them
Disobedience brought destruction
“And the men of Ai struck down about thirty-six men, for they chased them from before the gate as far as Shebarim, and struck them down on the descent; therefore the hearts of the people melted and became like water.” Joshua 7:5 NKJV
Sin had caused a breach
“So the Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face? Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff. Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you.” Joshua 7:10-12 NKJV
the remedy is not in prayer, but in active steps to cast out ‘the unclean thing.
The first three sins of the six, point out how wicked in reference to God, as sin, as a breach of covenant, and as an appropriation of what was specially His. The second three describe it in terms of ordinary morality, as theft, lying, and concealment; so many black sides has one sin when God’s eye scrutinises it.
“So the Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face? Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff.” Joshua 7:10-11 N
The offender brought forward
Joshua 7:16
“And Joshua said, “Why have you troubled us? The Lord will trouble you this day.” So all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.” Joshua 7:25 NKJV
Open heaven once again for victory
“Now the Lord said to Joshua: “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; take all the people of war with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land.” Joshua 8:1 NKJV
Curses for disobedience
Deuteronomy 28:15
“So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” I Samuel 15:22-23 NKJV

The King Shows Up | 4.2.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
The King Shows Up
Last week was two weeks outside of Passover! We looked at what Jesus preached prior to Passover during this same time period
“Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”. Luke 17:20-21 NKJV
The Kingdom is within and the King is looking for a changed heart
Now we are one week outside of a Passover. What was the message two thousand years ago that Jesus preached one week outside of Passover?
“Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished. For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon. They will scourge Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.” But they understood none of these things; this saying was hidden from them, and they did not know the things which were spoken.”. Luke 18:31-34 NKJV
Triumphal entry. Luke 19:28
Baruk Haba Beshem Adonai
The King shows up
“Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.” Luke 19:41-44 NKJV
Judgment fell and will fall ton all who do not heed the voice of Messiah
First thing Jesus does as He shows up In Jerusalem
Cleansing of the temple
Two weeks prior to Passover Jesus is letting us know His Kingdom is not only physical but first spiritual and to be received inwardly
One week prior to Passover He is being hailed as Messiah and comes in to deal with the sin within His temple and then the rest of the week Jesus is giving parable after parable about being ready for His return
So without saying it publicly He was declaring that He would be leaving and we are to be watching for His return
“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:2-3 NKJV
Mathew 21 records His entry into Jerusalem and then his cleansing of temple and then one by one He attacks the religious system that has grown corrupt
Matthew 21:28-32. Parable of two sons
Vs 33 wicked vinedressers Kingdom taken from you
Matthew 22. Message to those invited to wedding but made light of it
Matt 23 the rebuke of Scribes and Pharisees
Matt 14 destruction of temple
The message switches for people to be prepared
Matt 25 ten virgins
Vs 14 parable of talents the settling of accounts
Vs 31 Jesus judge of nations
IMPORTANCE OF WATCHING. “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:34-36 NKJV
This was Christs message prior to Passover when He would be sacrificed. His last words so to speak! Be ready! Then He was offered and fulfilled Passover. Next He says be ready because the trumpet will be blown!

The Judgment upon the Wicked | 3.26.23 | Sunday | On Fire Christian Church
The Judgment upon the Wicked
The coming of the kingdom of God is preluded by the destruction of the wicked. All things that cause sin and bow to it will be destroyed prior to the kingdom of God manifesting
Rev 19:11-21 Jesus comes back and judges the wicked rulers
“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” Revelation 22:14-15 NKJV
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?” II Peter 3:10-12 NKJV
“Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste, Distorts its surface And scatters abroad its inhabitants. And it shall be: As with the people, so with the priest; As with the servant, so with his master; As with the maid, so with her mistress; As with the buyer, so with the seller; As with the lender, so with the borrower; As with the creditor, so with the debtor. The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the Lord has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish. The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left.”. Isaiah 24:1-6 NKJV
“The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again. It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth. They will be gathered together, As prisoners are gathered in the pit, And will be shut up in the prison; After many days they will be punished. Then the moon will be disgraced And the sun ashamed; For the Lord of hosts will reign On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem And before His elders, gloriously.”. Isaiah 24:19-23 NKJV
““Therefore wait for Me,” says the Lord, “Until the day I rise up for plunder; My determination is to gather the nations To My assembly of kingdoms, To pour on them My indignation, All My fierce anger; All the earth shall be devoured With the fire of My jealousy.” Zephaniah 3:8 NKJV
Jesus being led to Golgotha said this!
“Now as they led Him away, they laid hold of a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, and on him they laid the cross that he might bear it after Jesus. And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him. But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!’ Then they will begin ‘to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!” ’ For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?”. Luke 23:26-31 NKJV
“I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” Revelation 6:12-17 NKJV
Have hope as a believer. Christ will judge the evil of our day and our responsibility is to stay free from this wicked system of thought!
This world is headed toward judgement first then a kingdom of righteousness
One world government prophecy
The Bible does not use the phrase “one-world government” or “one-world currency” in referring to the end times. It does, however, provide ample evidence to enable us to draw the conclusion that both will exist under the rule of the Antichrist in the last days.
In his apocalyptic vision in the Book of Revelation, the Apostle John sees the “beast,” also called the Antichrist, rising out of the sea having seven heads and ten horns (Revelation 13:1). Combining this vision with Daniel’s similar one (Daniel 7:16-24), we can conclude that some sort of world system will be inaugurated by the beast, the most powerful “horn,” who will defeat the other nine and will begin to wage war against Christians. The ten-nation confederacy is also seen in Daniel’s image of the statue in Daniel 2:41-42, where he pictures the final world government consisting of ten entities represented by the ten toes of the statue. Whoever the ten are and however they come to power, Scripture is clear that the beast will either destroy them or reduce their power to nothing more than figureheads. In the end, they will do his bidding.
John goes on to describe the ruler of this vast empire as having power and great authority, given to him by Satan himself (Revelation 13:2), being followed by and receiving worship from “all the world” (13:3-4), and having authority over “every tribe, people, language and nation” (13:7). From this description, it is logical to assume that this person is the leader of a one-world government which is recognized as sovereign over all other governments. It’s hard to imagine how such diverse systems of government as are in power today would willingly subjugate themselves to a single ruler, and there are many theories on the subject. A logical conclusion is that the disasters and plagues described in Revelation as the seal and trumpet judgments (chapters 6-11) will be so devastating and create such a monumental global crisis that people will embrace anything and anyone who promises to give them relief.
Once entrenched in power, the beast (Antichrist) and the power behind him (Satan) will move to establish absolute control over all peoples of the earth to accomplish their true end, the worship Satan has been seeking ever since being thrown out of heaven (Isaiah 14:12-14). One way they will accomplish this is by controlling all commerce, and this is where the idea of a one-world currency comes in. Revelation 13:16-17 describes some sort of satanic mark which will be required in order to buy and sell. This means anyone who refuses the mark will be unable to buy food, clothing or other necessities of life. No doubt the vast majority of people in the world will succumb to the mark simply to survive. Again, verse 16 makes it clear that this will be a universal system of control where everyone, rich and poor, great and small, will bear the mark on their hand or forehead. There is a great deal of speculation as to how exactly this mark will be affixed, but the technologies that are available right now could accomplish it very easily.
Those who are left behind after the Rapture of the Church will be faced with an excruciating choice—accept the mark of the beast in order to survive or face starvation and horrific persecution by the Antichrist and his followers. But those who come to Christ during this time, those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Revelation 13:8), will choose to endure, even to martyrdom.
“He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.” Revelation 13:15-18 NKJV

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” Revelation 22:14-15 NKJV
“He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”. Revelation 22:20 NKJV

The Coming Kingdom
2000 years ago during Passover the King of creation was approaching the city of David, Jerusalem! Today we are two weeks out from Passover. Jesus fulfilled the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Passover, and First Fruits through His Holy life and His death, burial, and resurrection! Two weeks prior to Jesus’ coming to Jerusalem He was preaching about a coming kingdom
It’s in the spirit and it’s in you
2000 years ago God made Himself man and rode into the City of David where prophets said Messiah would come and establish a kingdom. Jesus came and men didn’t recognize His purpose was first to take away so and establish a kingdom within the heart of man prior to an earthly kingdom
We know His Kingdom was to be forever
“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV
Jesus talks of a coming kingdom but says to not look for an external kingdom here or there but within
As it was in the Days of Noah
he foretold the stupidity of the generation he should come to destroy, comparing it to that of the old world, about the time of the flood; who, being wholly unaffected with the admonitions which Noah gave them, while building the ark, and with the threatenings which he then denounced, went on as usual, following their ordinary occupations, and pursuing their pleasures, both lawful and unlawful, in great security.
As it was in the days of Lot
God destroyed Sodom on account of its great wickedness. He took vengeance on it for its sins; and the example of Sodom is set before people to deter them from committing great transgressions, and as a “full proof” that God will punish the guilty
“as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude 1:7 NKJV
One day Messiah will return and take His beloved bride out to the way of judgment. He will judge the earth and the bride will return with Him in righteousness, He will then rule the nations as King
What was Jesus telling His disciples to do two weeks prior to Passover?
Prepare for the coming kingdom! Our hearts for His culture, a Jesus culture.
On the very day Noah and Lot were taken out of the way, Judgment came ON THOSE WHO WERE CONNECTED STILL TO THIS WORLD WITH THEIR AFFECTIONS AND PASSIONS TIED TO IT

Everything Can Change in 24 Hours
God has proven in times past to turn impossible circumstances around
“And it happened after this that Ben-Hadad king of Syria gathered all his army, and went up and besieged Samaria. And there was a great famine in Samaria; 2 Kings 6:24
King of Israel didn’t believe and sends men to Elisha to kill him vs 30
Ch 7. Elisha gives a prophetic word
TOMORROW!!!!!!!!
24 hours can make all the difference
The miracle needed could not be generated by man. They needed God to intervene
“You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” II Chronicles 20:17 NKJV
“Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.” Psalms 108:12-13 NKJV
“A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.” Psalms 33:17-20 NKJV
“The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But deliverance is of the Lord.” Proverbs 21:31
2 Kings 7:6. The Lord caused the enemy to hear the noise of chariots
“For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and the noise of horses—the noise of a great army; so they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us!” Therefore they arose and fled at twilight, and left the camp intact—their tents, their horses, and their donkeys—and they fled for their lives. And when these lepers came to the outskirts of the camp, they went into one tent and ate and drank, and carried from it silver and gold and clothing, and went and hid them; then they came back and entered another tent, and carried some from there also, and went and hid it. Then they said to one another, “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us. Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the king’s household.” II Kings 7:6-9 NKJV
“So it happened just as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, “Two seahs of barley for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, shall be sold tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria.” Then that officer had answered the man of God, and said, “Now look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he had said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.” And so it happened to him, for the people trampled him in the gate, and he died.” II Kings 7:18-20 NKJV

Faith never quits
2 kings 13:14. Strike the ground
“Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped.” II Kings 13:18 NKJV
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
Faith is rewarded
If we move in faith God is glorified. If we do not God is robbed.
Faith is the capacity to BELIEVE a promise of God
Philippians 4:19 supply
Faith never quits no matter the circumstances
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.”. Hebrews 6:10-15 NKJV
“By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.” Hebrews 11:30-31 NKJV
“who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented — of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.” Hebrews 11:33-40 NKJV
