Today we get ourselves into a PICKLE, with Pickle sticks! They're just like regular pickles, but better, because they're pickle-sticks! I actually based this recipe loosely on a quick cucumber salad I enjoy making, well turns out with a little tweaking it makes even better pickles! #pickles #pickling #picklesticks I may make a blog post for this later, but it's pretty simple! Today we're going to be making a South African classic, Mrs Balls Original Chutney! Now I can't confirm 100% for sure this is from the Balls family, however this is claimed to be from Edward Ball, Mrs. Ball’s grandson who down this from the original recipe to make 18 bottles of (mild) chutney. I found my result to be very close to what you can actually buy in the bottles, but mine was a little tangier which I actually liked more. I see from the bottles ingredients list they're using vinegar & water where as I just use vinegar. I wonder if the original recipe got changed to make it more factory friendly? Maybe someone can let me know in the comments! Today we make a fun little creation, Feta bread! It's basically a giant flat bread covered in feta cheese & herb butter. I like to cut mine into breadsticks, but you can cut yours however you would like. Today we are going to make my ALL TIME favorite breakfast, this easy hash browns and eggs skillet! The best past about it is it all happens in one pan, no dirty bowls, strainers or towels! You can flip the giant hash brown as many times as you want till you get it perfect, but after a few tries you can get away with just one flip! Don't do this over high heat though, medium, medium high otherwise the hash brown might burn. Today I'll share my easy trick to getting the best french fries in an air fryer! I see a lot of fries recipes suggesting soaking the cut fries in cool water, but that seems totally pointless to me. When I ask people why they're suggesting that I get various answers, usually "to wash off extra starch". But that's nonsense, they're MADE OUT OF STARCH. Anyway! The real key is to treat them just like real french fries and give them a par boil so they can get crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.
