20220421 - Liberty Minute
My fellow American patriots, I'm Peter Serefine, and this is today's Liberty Minute.
In response to a freedom of information request, the Secret Service told the New York post they have no records of who visited Resident Biden while he was in Delaware.
The self-proclaimed "most transparent administration ever" doesn't know who visited the President during the 99 days he spent in Delaware.
27% of Biden’s first year in office was spent in Delaware. Biden sometimes speaks about how his houseguests influence his views on policy, but there is no record of who those houseguests are.
Lobbyists, politicians, friends, family, foreign leaders, criminals, mobsters, union leaders, no records of the houseguests influencing American policy. I guess we can trust him; after all, his name is Biden, right?
Tonight at 7 pm Eastern, Pastor Allen Trotter comes to the Liberty Lighthouse live stream to discuss the church's role in the nation's crumbling morality.

A Democrat voter in Pennsylvania has filed a lawsuit to have two Republicans removed from the May primary ballot for governor.
Can anyone explain to me how a Democrat voter or a judge has ANY jurisdiction over who the Republicans put on a primary ballot?
Political parties are private organizations. Nobody but that party should have any say at all over the primary. No challenge of any kind should be allowed from outside the party until their candidate is selected.
This is just one example of how Democrats and Republicans perpetuate the illusion of a two-party system. There are actually five nationally recognized political parties in our republic. The Democrats and Republicans have had power so long that they have passed laws and regulations making next to impossible for the other three parties to be successful.

Run for Something, a Democratic group, is looking to raise $80 million to support candidates for local election administration offices. The group has already raised $6 million to support candidates in 27 states this November.
People, listen to me carefully. There are thousands of vacant election administration offices like Judge of Elections and Inspector of Elections. The 2020 election showed us how important these jobs are. Fill those spots! Get appointed to the vacancies and run to fill them in November.
96% of elected offices are state and local positions. Stop focusing entirely on the 4% at the federal level.
The Marxists have figured out the power of the local offices. It's time for the constitutionalists to do the same.

Ten people were shot, and two juveniles were killed in a shooting on Easter Sunday in Pittsburgh.
Nine people were shot in a South Carolina shopping mall. Nine more were shot in a South Carolina nightclub.
Eleven were shot in Chicago this weekend. Two shootings in Philadelphia and another in Richmond.
We have more gun laws and restrictions now than ever before, yet gun violence is nearly constant because guns are not the problem.
Self-centered violent people are the problem. The destruction of morality and a society that denies basic truth are the problem, along with generations that have been raised without having to think for themselves.
It is time for Americans to put faith and family first again. When we do that, we can do anything.

The folks in Washington DC have given up on even pretending to care about fiscal responsibility. Biden’s proposed $5.8 trillion budget request for the Fiscal year 2023 is an example. According to Truth In Accounting, if passed, this budget would instantly add an $83,000 tax burden per taxpayer. So that would make your taxpayer burden $919,000.
53% of people in a recent CNBC poll disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy. Could that be because the Biden answer to everything is just throwing more money at it? No matter the problem, spend more money. Don’t have the money? Just make more. The national debt doesn’t matter.
Inflation is the highest it has been in my life, so spend more money. Everyone knows inflation is made worse by creating more money, but Biden keeps spending. When asked, it’s Putin’s fault, Trump’s fault, or the Republicans.

The CDC has extended the mask mandate on public transportation because of the recent increase in Wuhan Flu cases.
Title 42, a covid protection rule at the southern border, is being allowed to expire because of the decrease in covid cases.
Philadelphia reinstated indoor mask mandates.
Those actions just don't jive. How can case counts that don't really mean anything anyway simultaneously be both higher and lower? The pandemic is either over or it's not.
Hey politicians! Newsflash! The pandemic is over! Fauci even said it is time for Americans to assess their own risks.
It is time to give up all the power you grabbed, give back our freedoms, and get back to actually representing We The People.

Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls, citizens of all ages, I'm Peter Serefine, and this is today's Liberty Minute.
Resident Biden has been going after so-called ghost guns for years. In fact, Biden wants smart guns. He wants a firearm to be linked to the owner's biometrics so that the owner is the only person who can fire it. Somehow this is supposed to keep us all safer from the criminals who, by definition, are not law-abiding.
I have a far better idea. Government should just enforce the existing laws. God knows we have enough of them. Keep violent criminals behind bars and actually prosecute crime. In short, do your job.
If you want to understand what it takes to build a ghost gun from an 80% lower and my own cheat to make a revolver without federal paperwork, watch this week's Liberty Lighthouse tomorrow at 7 pm Eastern.

Resident Biden has renewed his quest to ban "ghost guns" which are simply guns without serial numbers. Biden also nominated a new head to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
I cannot reconcile the second amendment's "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" with the existence of the ATF.
For about 130 years, the second amendment was the only federal firearms law. Now we have an ATF with over 5,000 employees. Under Obama, the ATF said they couldn't regulate bump stocks because they were accessories; then under Trump, they changed the definition of a bump stock so they could ban them.
Silencers, suppressors, bump stocks, accessory rails, and large-capacity magazines are all accessories that the ATF attempts to regulate, or I should say, infringe upon.

Generally speaking, when an illegal alien is convicted of a crime in the United States they are deported. Immigration Customs Enforcement takes custody of the illegal alien when they are released from behind bars, with very few exceptions. From 2007 through 2020 those exceptions averaged about a dozen per year.
During the first 13 months of the Biden administration, those exceptions averaged almost a dozen per month. This administration has released 141 illegal alien convicted criminals onto US streets.
This goes far beyond the open-border immigration policy. This is social destruction. You can't speak out against a government policy without earning the label "domestic terrorist", but the President of the United States can release convicted criminals who are also illegal aliens into your neighborhood where your kids play.

Speaker Pelosi tested positive for the Wuhan Flu just hours after meeting with Resident Biden. Why do we care? The virus circulating today is no worse than a cold. I wasn’t sick for three days. So, why are we still testing constantly?
Governor DeSantis has vowed to send illegal aliens shipped to Florida to Biden’s home state of Delaware. Governor Abbott has said he will send illegal aliens in Texas to Washington DC. Maybe Texas and Florida should coordinate. Drop all of the illegal aliens off at the Capitol Building on the same day. Perhaps that would inspire Congress to pass immigration reform laws and secure our borders.

The Biden administration has halted the distribution of one of the Wuhan Flu monoclonal antibody treatments. Supposedly, the treatment in question doesn't work against the Wu-Tang Clap variant or whatever the latest variant is called.
I have a problem with the federal government controlling medical treatments. In fact, I have a problem with the government having any control over my medical treatments. At most, the government should offer advice and suggestions.
A government that controls medical treatments literally controls the lives of its citizens, the exact opposite of what our founding fathers established.

An 18-year-old man in Los Angeles has been arrested for armed robbery four times in three months. Now investors suspect the young man of eight or more other armed robberies.
That is twelve or more armed robberies in three months committed by one person who was repeatedly arrested. Remember, guns are the problem, not criminals or the lack of prosecution.
The pandemic pause to student loan repayment is being extended yet again. I thought the economy was doing great. The Biden administration had created millions of jobs. So why are student loans still not being repaid? I suspect that this is somehow going to lead right into student loan forgiveness. That is a great way to piss off everyone who paid their loans or worked hard not to have loans.

All of the places in the US that have legalized marijuana have seen a rise in addiction dependency, homelessness, and youth addiction, so the House just passed a bill to make marijuana legal at the federal level. Yup that sounds like the general welfare Congress should be concerned about. Look, I don't care about marijuana either way, but there are real problems Congress could work on. Instead, they are working on legalizing something to help you forget those problems.
The Biden administration has created The Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy. That means more bureaucracy and more federal employees, making our already massive federal government even bigger.
As predictable as the sunrise, Biden used the Sacramento shooting to call for more gun control.

A 60-year-old man allegedly had himself vaccinated against Covid-19 dozens of times in Germany in order to sell forged vaccination cards with real vaccine batch numbers to people not wanting to get vaccinated themselves.
The East German man was arrested when he showed up at the same location to be vaccinated two days in a row. He had several blank vaccination cards on him at the time.
The man received approximately 90 jabs of different brands. No one has any clue what effect that may have on the man's health.
In other Wuhan Flu news, the CDC has lifted title 42. Apparently, they determined that covid is no longer enough of a threat. The remain in Mexico program is officially dead.

Resident Biden has authorized a million barrels of oil to be released from the strategic oil reserve every day for the next 180 days. The United States consumes about 20 million barrels of oil per day. I’m not sure how much good one million barrels a day is supposed to do.
This is the third time this administration has tapped the Strategic Petroleum Reserves. At the end of these 180 days, the reserves will be down to 400 million barrels. Only 56% of our reserves will remain, leaving us with only a 20 day supply on hand.
20 days should be okay, right? It isn’t like a world war could happen at any moment, and we would need those reserves for their intended purpose or anything like that.

With all the outrageous claims of a stolen election in 2020, you'd expect to see more people getting involved in the process, but you'd be wrong.
Yesterday I asked my county election office for a list of vacant elected offices. What I found were 110 Judge of Elections and Inspector of Elections vacancies. That is 110 in one county. There are over 3000 counties in the United States, so there are probably 300,000 similar vacant offices across the country.
That could be 300,000 pairs of honest, patriotic eyes watching our polling stations, ballots, and processes.
So, stop posting memes and call your county election office. Fill those vacancies and save the electoral process of this great nation.

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, says that she "fears for our democracy" if Republicans take control of the House this November. Really, Nancy? Constitutionally minded citizens have been worried about our democracy since you took the Speaker's gavel.
It is very common for the President's party to lose seats in the midterm elections because our nation is a republic. We, the people, see the crap a president does for the first two years and try to steer our government in a different direction because with very few exceptions, any time one party is in control, they go too far.
For example, the $5.8 trillion spending bill proposed by the Biden administration. That is approaching a 30% increase in spending while citizens are combating record inflation, and the nation is $30 trillion in debt.

The IRS erroneously paid about $64 million in stimulus checks to dead people, even after the computer error was identified. I guess the question is whether it was incompetence or paying off voters.
The Whitehouse has not adjusted Biden’s 2023 budget to account for the record-breaking 7.9% inflation. The administration predicts that inflation is going to drop to 2.3% by 2023 and stay there for the year.
If the Biden administration can predict inflation, how did we get to 7.9%? Shouldn't they have seen it coming?
The prediction not only says inflation will drop, but also that will allow a $1.3 trillion deficit reduction. Call me a cynic, but I seriously doubt that will happen. Please, Biden, prove me wrong.

CDC quietly removed 71,000 deaths from the covid total including 24% of the deaths of people under 18 years old. Seems a drowning victim shouldn't have been recorded as a covid death. Who knew?
Today, Biden is supposed to announce a new minimum tax for the wealthy. This new minimum tax is supposed to reduce the deficit by $360 billion in ten years.
Lies. It will not decrease the debt. Congress will treat any new revenue as found money and just spend even more.
Even if the money somehow did reduce the debt, $360 billion over 10 years is nothing. It is the equivalent of putting the loose change in your car towards your mortgage.
Just stop spending!

DC is contemplating sending out $100 checks to help ease the pain of higher gas prices. There are so many issues with this.
First, my middle school economics class taught me about supply and demand. More money chasing the same inventory of products will make prices worse.
Second, where do the geniuses in DC think that money comes from? Oh, that's right, they just click a few buttons and poof! Creating more money when the nation is already $30 trillion in debt won’t hurt. It isn’t like any country has ever gone bankrupt for doing precisely that, except maybe Germany, Russia, Greece, and a few others.

World Trade Organization, Global Economic Forum, World Health Organization, International Monetary Fund, and others all push for a one-world government. The so-called New world order.
All of the people in these organizations are the "elite class." No working people, poor, or middle class are involved in any way. Yet, that is exactly what we fought the American Revolution over.
Here in the United States, we have discovered how difficult it is to govern 50 sovereign states. Imagine the turmoil in trying to govern 195 different countries.
For one government to rule the whole world that government would have to be totalitarian, not to mention the corruption that would be present in a government that size.

OpenTheBooks.com has started the "Read The Bill" petition. The petition calls for 72 hours to pass before a spending bill can be voted on. It's common for bills to spend $1 trillion or more than 24 hours after the bill is finalized. The recent continuing spending resolution was over 2,700 pages, and the House passed it less than 24 hours after it was finalized.
Absolutely no one in Congress could possibly have read the entire bill, let alone understand what they were voting on.
