Meet the Nimitz-class: US Navy's $8.5 Billion Aircraft Carrier
Aircraft carriers are the centerpiece of America's Naval forces – the most adaptable and survivable airfields in the world. On any given day, Sailors aboard an aircraft carrier and its air wing come to the fight trained and equipped across a full range of missions. They are ready to control the sea, conduct strikes, and maneuver across the electromagnetic spectrum and cyberspace. No other naval force fields a commensurate range and depth of combat capabilities.

The F-35 teams up with the Patriot to destroy incoming missile threats
In mid-July, the US Army intercepted two cruise missile targets with the Patriot PAC-3 effector, using targeting information shared by its Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) battle network. During the test, two Army Sentinel radars, two Air Force F-35 fighters, and a Marine Corps G/ATOR radar sent tracking data through the IBCS network to support the Patriot engagement. In addition to demonstrating IBCS’ Joint Track Manager Capability (JTMC), which allowed the system to network with the G/ATOR and Navy’s Cooperative Engagement Capability network, the test took place under electronic attack, with one of the two missiles featuring an electronic jammer. This was the eighth successful test involving IBCS.

Meet the F-15E Strike Eagle: America's Multirole Fighter Jet
The Boeing F-15E Strike Eagle is an American all-weather multirole strike fighter derived from the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle.
The F-15E was designed as a fighter and bomber aircraft with a back seat for a second crew member to operate a ground attack weapons delivery system. The cockpit contains the latest advanced avionics, controls and displays. The redesigned airframe was built with a stronger structure allowing heavier takeoff weights and doubled the original F-15 Eagle’s service life.

7 Strongest Gatling Guns of the US Military
In the annals of military ingenuity, one name stands synonymous with devastating power and innovation: the Gatling-style rotary cannon.
The cyclic multi-barrel design synchronizes the firing sequence. Each barrel fires a single cartridge when it reaches a certain position in the rotation, after which the spent casing is ejected at a different position and then a new round is loaded at another position. During the cycle, the barrel has more time to dissipate some heat away to the surrounding air.
Here, I present a formidable lineup of seven Gatling-style rotary cannons, proudly serving within the ranks of the United States military.

7 Oldest Helicopters Still in Service in the US Military
The longevity of these military helicopters serves as a testament to their enduring design and the continuous efforts to enhance their capabilities. Despite the relatively short history of aviation, these helicopters have surpassed the five-decade mark in service, highlighting their reliability and significance in military operations.
However, it is important to note that several helicopters on this list are anticipated to retire soon.
While opinions may vary regarding the specific criteria for defining the "oldest" and "still in service," the following 7 helicopters stand out as the longest-serving U.S. military helicopters based on their respective first flights.

Meet the HELO Monster: CH-53E Super Stallion Beast!
The CH-53E Super Stallion stands as a true icon in the realm of military aviation. As one of the United States' most prominent heavy-lift helicopters, it has played a pivotal role in various operations, from combat missions to humanitarian relief efforts. With its remarkable capabilities, the CH-53E Super Stallion has earned its place as a cornerstone of the U.S. Marine Corps' rotorcraft fleet. In this article, we will explore the features, history, and significance of this impressive aerial workhorse.
The CH-53E Super Stallion is a product of Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, renowned for its expertise in helicopter manufacturing. Development of the Super Stallion began in the 1970s to fulfill the U.S. Marine Corps' need for an advanced heavy-lift helicopter. Building upon the successful CH-53 Sea Stallion platform, Sikorsky introduced significant enhancements to create a more powerful and capable aircraft.
While the CH-53E Super Stallion has served the U.S. Marine Corps diligently for decades, plans are underway to replace it with the next-generation CH-53K King Stallion. The CH-53K, currently in the testing and evaluation phase, will offer enhanced capabilities, increased lifting capacity, and improved performance. As the CH-53E gradually phases out, the CH-53K will assume the mantle of the Marine Corps' primary heavy-lift helicopter, taking the legacy of the Super Stallion to new heights.

Meet the STRYKER: US Army’s Badass Armored Fighting Vehicles
The Stryker, first fielded shortly after the turn of the millennium, is an eight-wheeled, all-wheel drive, armored combat vehicle produced by General Dynamics Land Systems and based on the Canadian Light Armored Vehicle III.
The Stryker chassis' modular design supports a wide range of variants. The main chassis is the Infantry Carrier Vehicle.
Yes, the Stryker's modular design allows for a wide range of variants to be developed based on a common chassis. This design approach allows for a high degree of flexibility, as the same basic chassis can be configured in different ways to meet specific mission requirements. The Stryker's chassis can be outfitted with different weapons, sensors, and other equipment, as well as different types of armor, depending on the variant. The modular design also allows for easy maintenance and upgrade, as components can be easily swapped out or replaced as needed.

This is America’s RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile
The RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) is a small, lightweight, infrared homing surface-to-air missile in use by the German, Japanese, Greek, Turkish, South Korean, Saudi Arabian, Egyptian, Mexican, UAE, and U.S. Navies. It was originally intended and used primarily as a point-defense weapon against anti-ship missiles.
The Rolling Airframe Missiles, together with the Mk 49 Guided Missile Launching System (GMLS) and support equipment, make up the RAM Mk 31 Guided Missile Weapon System (GMWS). The Mk-144 Guided Missile Launcher (GML) unit weighs 5,777 kilograms (12,736 lb) and stores 21 missiles.
Variants:
Block 0 (RIM-116A), The original version of the missile, called Block 0, was based on the AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missile, whose rocket motor, fuze, and warhead were used.
The Block 1 (RIM-116B) is an improved version of the RAM missile that adds an overall infrared-only guidance system that enables it to intercept missiles that are not emitting any radar signals. The Block 0's radar homing capabilities have been retained.
The Block 2 (RIM-116C) is an upgraded version of the RAM missile aimed at more effectively countering more maneuverable anti-ship missiles through a four-axis independent control actuator system, increased rocket motor capability, an improved passive radio frequency seeker and upgraded components of the infrared seeker, and advanced kinematics.

Stealth Helicopter is Coming
In jointly-released statements yesterday, Sikorsky and Boeing announced their Defiant X aircraft to the world. The advanced helicopter design is a contender for the Army’s Future Long Range Assault Aircraft, currently one of the Army’s highest priorities. Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky’s partner company and Boeing released their identical announcements simultaneously.
Their Defiant X design is based on the SB-1 Defiant, a similar though smaller technology demonstrator. In June, the SB-1 recorded a top speed of 235 miles per hour, already much faster than typical helicopter speeds. According to a SB-1 test pilot, the SB-1 used less than 50 percent of engine output to reach that speed, indicating that the larger and likely more powerful Defiant X could reach even higher speeds.
The DEFIANT X can load up with litters for medical evacuation missions, missiles, and guns to roll out of a stealthy internal weapons bay or transport large numbers of armed infantry for a coordinated assault.
