College Football Playoff 2023-2024 Bowl Season Part 3
The 2023-24 college football bowl season is almost upon us. From Dec. 16 to Jan. 1, fans are gifted with a near constant drip feed of games pitting schools from all around the country against one another with various trophies and other awards on the line. We'll see a coach bathed in mayo and one winning team celebrate by consuming the first edible mascot (a giant Pop-Tart) in sports history. Another victorious program will take home a literal bowl full of oranges.
That's just a small sampling of what's in store during the weird, wacky and wonderful Bowl Season. As one might expect, there's plenty of betting opportunity as well. Lines are set early for every bowl game, but between the transfer portal, coaching changes and opt outs for the NFL Draft, there could be a lot of change between now and when the games are actually played.
Still, there's plenty of value in getting an early look at the odds. There's a bounty of prolific games that have interesting projections, including both College Football Playoff Semifinal matchups. No. 1 Michigan is a very slight 1.5-point favorite against No. 4 Alabama, while No. 2 Washington is actually a 4.5-point underdog against No. 3 Texas.
Here's a deep dive into the lines for every bowl game coming up over the course of the next month-plus.

SpaceX Starship flight tests
SpaceX Starship flight tests include 10 launches of prototypes of the Starship spacecraft on suborbital and low-altitude tests, and one orbital trajectory flight of the entire Starship launch vehicle with the Starship prototype atop the Super Heavy first-stage booster.[a][1][2][3][4][5] Designed and operated by private manufacturer SpaceX, the flown prototypes of Starship so far are Starhopper, SN5, SN6, SN8, SN9, SN10, SN11, SN15 and Ship 24 stacked with Booster 7.[6][7]
Starship is planned to be a fully-reusable two-stage super heavy-lift launch vehicle.[8] Unusual for previous launch vehicle and spacecraft designs, the upper stage of Starship is intended to function both as a second stage to reach orbital velocity on launches from Earth, and also eventually[9] be used in outer space as an on-orbit long-duration spacecraft. It is being designed to take people to Mars and beyond into the Solar System.[10]
Starship test flights
Starship prototype tests can generally be classified into three main types. In proof pressure tests, the vehicle's tanks are pressurized with either gases or liquids to test their strength—sometimes deliberately until they burst. The vehicle then performs mission rehearsals, with or without fuel, to check the vehicle and ground infrastructure. Before a test flight, SpaceX loads the vehicle prototype with propellant and briefly fires its engines in a static fire test.[11] Alternatively, the engines' turbopump spinning can be tested without firing the engines, referred to as a spin prime test.[12]
Following successful testing, uncrewed flight tests and launches may take place. During a suborbital launch, Starship prototypes fly to a high altitude and then descend, landing either near the launch site or in the sea. During an orbital launch, Starship performs procedures as described in its mission profile.[11]: 19–22 The tests, flights, and launches of the Starship rocket have received significant media coverage due to SpaceX's relatively open approach to allowing outsiders to view the facilities.[13]

College Football Playoff predictions - On to Week 11!
The College Football Playoff rankings are finally here, granting teams a benchmark on where they stand in terms of competing for a national championship.
Only five unbeatens remain in the Power Five — Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida State and Washington — and will likely find themselves near the top of the rankings, above one-loss teams such as Oregon, Texas, Alabama and Oklahoma.
The Crimson Tide (7-1, 5-0 SEC) can earn a massive resume booster as it takes on LSU (6-2, 4-1) at home on in Week 10. Georgia (8-0, 5-0) also has a tough stretch to prove its status as a top team against Missouri (7-1, 3-1), Ole Miss and (7-1, 3-1) and Tennessee (6-2, 3-2) in consecutive weeks. Both the Tigers and Rebels still have a path to the playoff.
Heading into Week 10 of the college football season, plenty of programs are still alive in the playoff chase, and there's almost certain to be chaos at the finish.

Apollo Re live Part 2 - The Neil and Buzz Moonwalk
Apollo 11 was the first manned mission to land on the Moon and is one of the most iconic events in the history of space exploration. Here are some key facts about the Apollo 11 mission:
Mission Objectives: Apollo 11 was launched by NASA on July 16, 1969, with the primary objective of landing astronauts on the Moon and returning them safely to Earth. The mission aimed to demonstrate the capabilities required for lunar exploration.
Crew: The Apollo 11 crew consisted of three astronauts:
Neil Armstrong: Mission Commander
Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin: Lunar Module Pilot
Michael Collins: Command Module Pilot
Lunar Module: The Lunar Module, named "Eagle," separated from the Command Module in lunar orbit. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin descended to the lunar surface in the Lunar Module while Michael Collins remained in lunar orbit.
Lunar Landing: On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin piloted the Lunar Module to a successful landing on the Moon's surface in the region known as the Sea of Tranquility.
First Steps on the Moon: On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the Moon. He famously declared, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
Activities on the Moon: Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin conducted various experiments, collected samples of lunar soil and rocks, and planted the American flag on the Moon's surface. They spent about two and a half hours outside the Lunar Module.
Return to Earth: After spending approximately 21 hours on the lunar surface, the Lunar Module's ascent stage rejoined the Command Module in lunar orbit. The astronauts then began their journey back to Earth.
Splashdown: Apollo 11 successfully splashed down in the Pacific Ocean on July 24, 1969. The crew was recovered by the USS Hornet.
Historic Achievement: Apollo 11 was a historic achievement and a major milestone in the Space Race between the United States and the Soviet Union. It demonstrated American technological prowess and fulfilled President John F. Kennedy's goal of landing a man on the Moon before the end of the decade.

Diablo IV - Level 100 Barbarian - Season 2
If you’re new to the Diablo universe, you may be wondering, “What exactly is a Season in Diablo 4?” A Season in Diablo 4 is an opportunity for all players to start anew, immersing themselves in new content or a captivating theme that spans a period of roughly three months.
The concept of seasons in Diablo games breathes new life into the experience. You create a fresh seasonal character who, upon the season’s conclusion, becomes a non-seasonal character. The best part is that if you have completed the campaign at least once with any character, be it seasonal or non-seasonal, you are free to skip the campaign and dive headfirst into the exhilarating grind.
Seasons offer a fantastic opportunity to experiment with new characters or intriguing builds that have caught your attention. Furthermore, the anticipation of balance changes and new items added to the game keeps things exciting. These adjustments disrupt the established meta, injecting a refreshing twist into the gameplay after the initial launch period.
Talking about intriguing builds and an established meta, you might want to explore our class build tier list. If you are interested, feel free to check it out here:
Build and Class Tier Lists
Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a curious newcomer, Seasons provide a chance to craft a new chapter in your Diablo journey.
Seasonal Characters
How does a Seasonal Character work?
If you have completed the Campaign, you will be able to skip the campaign on a new seasonal character right away.
You will have your mount from the beginning if it has been unlocked on any character.
All Altars of Lilith and discovered areas will be unlocked, and you will receive the Renown for them if you have unlocked them previously.
At the end of the season, your seasonal characters and your seasonal stash will be transferred to the Eternal Realm, which is where all of your non-seasonal characters are currently located.
Season Start
We highly suggest you complete the main campaign, completely explore the map as well as find all of the Altars of Lilith, and max your renown before the season starts as the completion and renown from them will carry over into the season.
If you have completed the campaign and choose to skip it upon season start (which we highly suggest you do) you will start in Kyovashad at Level 1 and will be able to immediately start the season story.
If you have done all the things we suggested here, you will start the season with enough renown to start with 4 extra potions and 4 extra skill points.
Keep in mind that your current characters will stay on the Eternal Realm and you will still be able to play them along with class updates and the new uniques and legendary aspects, you just won’t be able to access any season specific content with them.

The Iranian Guards Aerospace Force put the ballistic missile command on high alert.
According to Iranian sources, the Iranian Guard Air Force is set to conduct a major ballistic missile exercise near Qom.
Photos and videos show Iran moving dozens of ballistic missiles to launch sites. Ballistic missiles are coming out of the bowels - literally - of Iran's mountains.
Ballistic missiles were spotted moving along a highway south of Tehran, the capital of Iran.
No one knows yet if Iran will launch a missile as a warning, however the city of Qom "looks" towards Iraq and Israel.
Meanwhile, Iranian state media claim that Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, has asked the Qatari Defense Minister to deny the USAF use of the Al-Udeid Air Base near Doha.
Qatar, according to the Iranian agency, is evaluating Iran's request!

Communication Cable & pipeline between Finland and Estonia damaged #breakingnews
Is NATO Article V on the table?
HELSINKI/BRUSSELS, Oct 11 (Reuters) - NATO will discuss damage to a gas pipeline and data cable running between member states Finland and Estonia, and will mount a "determined" response if a deliberate attack is proven, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Wednesday.
Damage to the Balticconnector pipeline and telecommunications cable was confirmed on Tuesday after one of the two pipeline operators, Finland's Gasgrid, noted a drop in pressure and possible leak on Sunday night during a storm.

Helsinki, which is investigating, has said the damage was probably caused by "outside activity". That has stoked concern over regional energy security and pushed gas prices higher.
"The important thing now is to establish what happened and how this could happen," Stoltenberg told reporters in Brussels ahead of a meeting of the military alliance.
"If it is proven to be a deliberate attack on NATO-critical infrastructure then this will be, of course, serious, but it will also be met by a united and determined response from NATO."

Finland's National Bureau of Investigation said "external marks" had been found on the seabed beside the damaged pipeline and that it was reviewing the movements of vessels in the area at the time of the rupture.
"We are now focusing on the technical investigation of the pipe damage site and examining the seabed at the scene," bureau chief Robin Lardot told reporters on Wednesday.
Risto Lohi, the bureau's chief investigator, told a news conference that anchor damage had not been ruled out, adding: "At the moment it looks like the damage was caused by mechanical force, not an explosion."

Michigan State Football 2023
Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker is in a pretty interesting spot after a massively disappointing 2022, as he signed a massive $95 million 10-year deal shortly after a great 2021 campaign that ended with a Peach Bowl win over Pittsburgh. That offer was made in no small part due to State’s victory over Michigan in a clash between undefeated top-8 squads, although it could be argued that the driving force of that win was Kenneth Walker’s superhero performance rather than Tucker’s football acumen.
If Tucker needs to live up to his huge price tag, with another result like the 5-7 record last season, questions will begin to fly about his position. Central’s Jim McElwain is also coming off of a letdown campaign with a 4-8 record, but he’s probably earned a bit more leeway; he inherited a 1-11 Chippewas squad, and got them within a score of a MAC Championship in 2019. The 2021 Chips went 9-4 with a Sun Bowl win over PAC-12 school Washington State, but crashed down to 4-8 a year ago, so McElwain and his squad will be looking for a bounce back.
Michigan State looks to get back on Track
MSU was hit pretty hard by the transfer portal, particularly on the offensive side. A pair of major wideouts are gone as top pass catcher Keon Coleman went Florida State and four-star talent Germie Bernard is now a Washington Husky. Perhaps most concerningly, starting QB Payton Thorne transferred out to Auburn. Make no mistake, Thorne is not a particularly good football player, but it’s an indictment on the state of the program that someone of his caliber who was relatively assured of a starting job was looking for greener pastures, especially considering that Auburn also went 5-7 a year ago. New starting QB Noah Kim looked sharp in limited time last year, but like so many other players who will get significant time in this offense, he is a relatively unknown quantity.

Happy 4th of July
The 4th of July, also known as Independence Day, is a significant holiday in the United States. It commemorates the day when the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence in 1776, declaring independence from British rule. The holiday is celebrated with various festivities and traditions throughout the country.
On the 4th of July, many Americans gather with family and friends for picnics, barbecues, and outdoor activities. Fireworks displays are a popular tradition, with grand shows taking place in cities across the nation. These fireworks often feature elaborate designs and vibrant colors, creating a spectacular visual display.
Parades are another common feature of 4th of July celebrations. These parades typically include marching bands, floats, and participants dressed in patriotic attire. They often highlight the history, values, and symbols associated with American independence.
Additionally, it is common for people to display the American flag during Independence Day celebrations. Many communities organize community events, such as concerts, carnivals, and sporting competitions, to mark the occasion. Some individuals also take the opportunity to reflect on the significance of the holiday and its historical importance.
It's worth noting that while the 4th of July is primarily celebrated in the United States, people of American heritage living abroad or those who appreciate American culture may also observe the holiday in their respective countries.

22nd to 27th Amendment - Documents that made America series
The need for the Constitution grew out of problems with the Articles of Confederation, which established a “firm league of friendship” between the States, and vested most power in a Congress of the Confederation. This power was, however, extremely limited—the central government conducted diplomacy and made war, set weights and measures, and was the final arbiter of disputes between the States. Crucially, it could not raise any funds itself, and was entirely dependent on the States themselves for the money necessary to operate. Each State sent a delegation of between two and seven members to the Congress, and they voted as a bloc with each State getting one vote. But any decision of consequence required a unanimous vote, which led to a government that was paralyzed and ineffectual.
A movement to reform the Articles began, and invitations to attend a convention in Philadelphia to discuss changes to the Articles were sent to the State legislatures in 1787. In May of that year, delegates from 12 of the 13 States (Rhode Island sent no representatives) convened in Philadelphia to begin the work of redesigning government. The delegates to the Constitutional Convention quickly began work on drafting a new Constitution for the United States.
