The 12 episodes of the Booth Monkeys Readthrough was told in 2 parts. I open each episode with a look at my life as I survive in this country and dream about making this as my side hustle. Then I read the script and offer my commentary on the story and where it comes from. In this last episode the story is wrapped up for real this time. Plus we imagine what working on Booth Monkeys will look like full time.

In this episode I add to some scenes and provide an ending with some closure. And go back to some scenes I wanted to add to after reading them again. I also decided to adjust my original ending as I realized my last writings session left the final parts in construction.

Here at the end we are only at the beginning. With the screenplay is written ,now begins the pre production. Thank you to any who help turn this dream into reality. Sky is the limit. Now is the time. More details to be released soon.

Here, near the end of the story, we begin to wrap things up. The Story in the Story is coming to an end. Mary is finally, nearly asleep, and Dre is ready to go where dreams are meant to be had, in bed. I literally planned to end the story here but couldn't. I still have much more to say and honestly this is my version of the Wayne's World style of multi endings but done subtly and with meaning. Meanwhile, the director continues to live his dream awake as he wanders through the forest looking for Metaphors. I find clear thoughts while walking I hope you are enjoying this read through of the screenplay.

Real life mimics fiction. While the Wife and I are on a road trip selling off our skills, These scenes follow in the script where Dre and Ryan go on a road tripl to find their long-lost mentor. We're wrapping up the second act and barreling forward to the twisted 3rd act ending. Where the story we have been building comes to its conclusion. Will the guys save the film booth, and will the Mary, the child / audience surrogate, fall asleep before Dre runs out of story to tell? In this section we finally introduce the low key hero of the story. The mother of the daughter promised from the first episode. There are jokes and shenanigans and life happens all around it. They say, "Living begins at 40, everything up until then is practice." In this episode we add the the characters and their conflicts are introduced. The story is still basically a father telling a bed time story to his daughter. That story includes his favorite job, when he met her mother, and when he chose to help others earlier than I did.
