I brought my mother's ashes to Sedona from Japan. Originally her living will stated that she wanted to have her ashes spread in the air of Grand Canyon where my family went together in almost 20 years ago. It's still part of the same Canyon and Sedona is known as the spiritual place. I thought my mother would not mind resting here... She was a graceful woman... thus I am singing "Amazing Grace" for her.... As I looked at the sky of Sedona, the light came down from the sky to the ground level as if she was ascending to the heaven. IKUTA JINJYA is located about 10 min walk from JR SANNOMIYA station toward North. There is a TOKYUHANZ, a unique goods store in front of this shrine. It's a great half day visit for both. And there are many restaurants to try KOBE beef! Remember if you spend about $100 for it then it's really KOBE beef.

I found this kids cooking class while I was shopping in Japanese shopping center. Mothers can go shopping or have tea while kids are busy learning how to cook! What an amazing class I thought.

After I am getting used to see so many slices of bacon in US, it's so surprising to see Japanese bacons are individually wrapped with such a small portion. Each slice of bacon is cut and wrapped. There are only 3 bacons in the package! Japanese eat meat with moderation. No wonder they are skinny!

Today's purchase in Japan.....cool outlet covers!!! I feel like electricity is leaking from unused outlet holes, and I am also afraid of having dust in the holes and eventually start fire.... These outlet cover solved my fear.

This Japanese product raise the sunglass position to be a bit higher so my high cheek won't be the one holding the sunglass. Also the soft silicon erase the trace of harsh sunglass and dent on my nose. I wish all sunglass has silicon on the nose area...

I found this cute cat clock in Osaka, Japan. I wanted to buy, but I was afraid it would broke on the way bringing it to US.... But I regret now. I should have bought it!

I really liked the fact I can carry this mouse pad in the lap top. Not as extra item to bring with but, it actually can be held between screen and key board.

Actually I found this Stapleless Stapler in Japan in 2011, but it was heavier and a bit more expensive then. Now it's between $3 and $5. I really like Japanese idea products. It's fun to go to Japan for shopping!!!

You can buy many good quality Japanese items for just under $10!!! Japan is a shopping heaven. Only expensive things in Japan are accommodation and transportation.
