One of my followers was interested in trying linear birds. They use USB/LSB cross-band repeaters and to the uninitiated satellite trackers, it's a little intimidating. Let me assure you it is not. I have been loving Satellite contacts since I got my license. I have been doing it for about 2 years. In that time I have made a ton of Satellite contacts with the best being the 5 times in 2022 I got to talk to Kjell Lingrind on the ISS. Well, this day I got my 6th contact with Woody Hobart. I love working the Satelittes with HAM radio I had from the start just two short years ago. At the time my Elmer told me about making contact with an astronaut and it blew me away that you could do that. I didn't think in a million years I could be so lucky, I studied and spent money trying to accomplish that. In time I found the best way. As a result, I now have 7 contacts with an Astronaut. Here is the latest along with everyone else I picked up during the ISS pass today. Enjoy.
