2023 Mazda RF roof malfunction.
My fault, but an issue I never ran into with my 2010 PHT. So something I will need to pay attention to.

Daniel repairing dads Craftsman mower. (Broken main pulley)
The double drive pulley for the transmission, and the mower deck had split. So after ordering a new one, Daniel installed it.

Dans quad - Gramps Motorcycle crashing into Dans Quad in a turn.
I was trying to get a side shot on an inside turn and Dan turned in a different direction than I was expecting. I was following much too closely, but we do that a lot with the GoPro camera as its a wide angle lens. (I was actually closer than the video looks. (Except during the crash, that was pretty much as close as it gets. B-)

This entire area is nothing but rock, so half of your time is spent moving them around. This area is incredibly boney.

Jims Toro mower #07 - Daniel mowing the horse pasture with the Toro.
First off, yes, I am aware that 11 is under the "recommended" starting age is 12, but keep in mind, this is not his first day operating equipment.
He is a lot more mature around equipment than 90% of the kids in his peer group.
Remember, the studies are based on children that went from playing with toy fire trucks, to learning to mow in one day.
Let that soak in for a bit.
He has had a lot more exposure to equipment, and its associated dangers than some "kids" in their 20's.
His parents are (hopefully) buying a house with a pretty good sized lawn, and dads gonna need help cutting it. ;-)
Daniel is pretty good with machines, this was his first time behind the bars of a mower with the blades engaged.
(He has operated it before with the blades off.) He did a great job.
This machine has several safety features, that amazingly enough, are still in place. (With the exception of the grass chute) Generally the older machines get the cut out switches defeated over time.)

84 views Oct 27, 2015 Daniel finishing off the grinding. He kind of made it into a bit of a day job, but he was really close
to finishing, and we didn't want this ending on a failure. He was about ready to hand it off, but some jobs you need to finish on your own. Or you will never finish one........

Daniel rolling the round bale over so we can pick it up with the Kubota.
We don't have a bale spear, so we have to use the B7300 to roll the bale on to its end before picking it up.
They end up getting used this way in our home made feeder. (The Octagon)

Daniel picking up bale #2 with our B7300 Kubota. And the Junk HUSCO valve.
The Husco valve is failing (again) so it doesn't like to roll the bucket, or keep it rolled once it gets there.
Kind of irritating, as its caused by rust inside of the detent and regen retainer collars under the spring caps on the bottom of the valve. My machine has always been kept under cover, and has only been rained on a hand full of times since 1998. My first valve was replaced about a year after we got the tractor, the Husco valves they they put on the kubotas were junk, I'm kind of surprised that Kubota didn't just replace them all with a good valve. When I took this one apart, it had water in the bottom of the cup. Rust filled in any of the extra space that was left.. :-(

It doesn't seem to have the power it did a few years ago, and the RPM's don't seem to be getting as high.
My guess is that we still have some carb work to do. (It was acting like this before we put the pipe on, so it's not our 90 degree bend.... )

Part A Daniel pulling the round bale from the back of the box.
That time of the month again, we needed another round bale for the horses. The round bale is pushed all the way to the back of the box, so we needed to get the node of the tractor in so the sling we had would be able to reach it. Then we drag the bale to the end of the box, and pick it up from there. Not a super difficult job, but it's fairly tight and mistakes are not required or desired. B-)
