Iowa Board of Medicine Decision Against Alan Moy MD
Dr. Moy discusses the outcome of an investigation by the Iowa Board of Medicine against him. An anonymous complaint was made to the Iowa Board of Medicine, which alleged that he disseminated misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccines. What was unique about his case is that the alleged misinformation was done out of a personal financial conflict of interest to promote the Institute’s Campaign for Cures to develop a competitive vaccine that could be offered to religious consumers. The alleged public misinformation that he was accused of making was that the COVID-19 vaccines were ineffective to the extent that they could not prevent infection, nor stop viral transmission. Dr. Moy discusses the background on why he decided to include coronavirus vaccine program as an additional priority to the Institute's therapeutic priorities. He discusses the failures of Operation Warp Speed and he discusses his experience with high level government officials within the Department of Health and Human Services that led to his decision to include respiratory virus vaccine research a priority of the Campaign for Cures. Important scientific data is discussed on why coronavirus vaccines should not be administered to infants.

How does JP2MRI compare with secular medical research organizations? (CC)
One of the frequently asked questions that the John Paul II Medical Research Institute gets is how does the Institute compare and compete with established secular, non government organizations or NGOs that support medical research and have been around much longer and received far more public funding? If they can't find treatments and cures for diseases for the patients that they advocate, how can JP2 achieve that goal with less money?
In this video Dr. Moy responds by saying, you're asking the wrong questions. The questions that individuals should be asking are: (1) What should be the most important objective of a medical NGO that advocates for patients with a clinical disease?; (2) What are reasonable metrics that NGOs should be judged for developing treatments for the patients that they advocate for?; (3) Is the public getting value from NGOs when it comes to advancing therapies?; (4) How can NGOs best contribute to drug development?; (5) What therapeutic modalities such as small molecules, large molecules, vaccine, gene therapy, and cell therapy do NGOs support and take leadership positions to advance for the patients that they advocate for?; (6) Do NGOs support medical research that use morally illicit human cells that conflict with their donors moral value system?
If individuals currently are supporting a secular medical research NGO and you don't know the answers to these questions, you need to watch this video and share it with your friends and family. In this presentation entitled, "How does JP2MRI compare with secular medical research organizations?", Dr. Moy will address these questions.

The Future Crisis to Catholics From Secular Biotech-Solving The Embryonic Stem Cell Dilemma (CC)
In the last series of videos, Dr. Moy highlighted the scope of the problem from morally.-illicit human cells. He discusses the need for a pro-life biotechnology sector. Embryonic stem cells are routinely used in drug development and are being contemplated as a cell therapy for treating chronic diseases. They are used routinely to evaluate drug safety. Embryonic stem cells represent a 2 billion dollars a year market that is growing at 9% annually. Embryonic stem cells represent an ethical challenge for Catholics and pro-life healthcare consumers.
In this presentation entitled, “The Unrecognized Future Crisis to Catholics and Catholic Healthcare from Secular Biotechnology- Solving the Embryonic Stem Cell Dilemma”, Dr. Moy will highlight his research to create a new benchmark in pluripotent stem cell technology. This research resulted from the collaboration between CET and JP2MRI. This technology creates pluripotent stem cells that are cheaper and quicker to manufacture, ethical and safer than embryonic stem cells and any prior pluripotent stem cell.

JP2MRI Creates Immortalized Human Stem Cells to Replace HEK293 (CC)
In a previous video, Dr. Moy discusses how the HEK293 cell line, by itself, produces advanced medicines valued over 100 billion dollars annually for the biopharmaceutical industry. The HEK293 cell is routinely used to produce research/diagnostic reagents, vaccines, viral research products, cell therapy, biologics and gene therapy. The HEK293 cell represents the most serious ethically controversial cell that threatens Catholics and the Catholic healthcare system. Moreover, the HEK293 cell has significant scientific shortcomings that impacts drug efficacy and safety. This latter issue should concern all healthcare consumers regardless of whether one is religious or not.
In this presentation entitled, “The Unrecognized Future Crisis to Catholics and Catholic Healthcare from Secular Biotechnology- Solving the HEK293 Cell Dilemma”, Dr. Moy highlights data where JP2MRI integrates adult stem cells, synthetic biology, gene editing and bioprocessing to produce ethical and genetically-modified adult stem cell lines to offer a replacement cell line to HEK293 that we believe in the end, will not only be ethically non-controversial, but will provide scientific advantages in drug safety and efficacy.

The Unrecognized Crisis to Catholics From Secular Biotechnology-Launching a Pro-Life Biotech Sector
In the last video, I highlighted the scope of the problem in which the biopharmaceutical industry uses embryonic stem cells and aborted fetal in the manufacturing of products and services. Morally illicit human cells produces over a 100 billion dollars a year in manufactured products for the biopharmaceutical industry or 25 % of all revenue earned by the industry. In 5 years, this market segment will double unless ethical alternative biotechnologies are developed and distributed. In the last video, we discussed the barriers to reverse this trend from within this industry and discussed the lack of support within the major Catholic institutions and the lack of public research funding that is set aside to facilitate change.
In this presentation entitled, ”The Unrecognized Future Crisis to Catholic and Catholic Healthcare From Secular Biotechnology- Launching a Pro-Life Biotech Sector”, I discuss the rationale and early efforts to launch, for the first time, private for-profit and non-profit organizations to address this enormous problem.

Vaccine Mandates Won't Stop COVID-19 & How to Advance Biotechnology Without Morally-Illicit Cells
In this video presentation, Dr. Moy provides comprehensive data on COVID-19 vaccines and early treatment for COVID-19. Dr. Moy provides data that argues that there has been a failure in the regulatory process and COVID-19 vaccine mandates are ineffectual in containing the spread of COVID because the virus is increasingly escaping vaccine immunity; cannot prevent viral transmission because of a lack of respiratory mucosal immunity; is inducing variants; and has a very high poor safety record due to antibody development enhancement, spike protein toxicity and autoimmune disorders. Dr. Moy argues that the vaccine should not be given to those that recovered, pregnant and nursing women, healthy individuals without risk factors and children because the risks exceed the benefits. Thus, the data does not support the Catholic Church's assertion that individuals of low risk should take the vaccine out of some guilty sense of charity. Dr. Moy also discusses what lessons have been learned about producing a more robust and durable vaccine. He provides an update and highlights what type of vaccine is being pursued by the Institute and describes the differential scientific and ethical advantages of the Institute's vaccine research program. Lastly, Dr. Moy explains how ubiquitous morally-illicit cells are used by the pharmaceutical industry and how it will undermine the Catholic healthcare system and impact Christian scientists, healthcare providers and patients, and he offers solutions how these problems can be reversed by new technical innovations achieved by the Institute and its effort to initiate a pro-life biotech industry sector.
