Corvette Museum, Zora Arkus-Duntov
I made this video while at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This video is of the Zora Arkus-Duntov exhibit.
According to caranddriver.com (link to the full story is below) Zora Arkus-Duntov and the achievements he made over his more than two decades at General Motors are well known to die-hard Corvette enthusiasts.
Sales of the Corvette were declining, and GM was considering retiring the sports vehicle early. At the last second, Arkus-Duntov intervened to salvage the Corvette and elevate it to the status of Chevrolet's swan song vehicle. His opinions gained him widespread internal respect and the task of transforming the Corvette from a stylish, heartless two-seater into a top-tier sports car.
His new position of power only encouraged Arkus-reckless Duntov's use of speed. He set two Pikes Peak records while driving a disguised Chevy sedan, and in 1956, at Daytona Beach, he reached 150 mph while driving a slightly modified Corvette. This achievement paved the way for a protracted series of experimental endeavors, which provided yearly performance enhancements to Corvettes in production.

Eastern Pondhawk Dragonfly (Erythemis simplicicollis)
This is video of a hidden dragonfly. It’s not easy to see. It is an Eastern Pondhawk.
According to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources website (link to website below), Females and young males of the eastern pondhawk are vivid green. From their abdomen to their thorax, the guys' bodies gradually turn a powdered blue as they get older. These pond, lake, and streamside dragonflies, which can grow up to 2 inches long, are common.
The National Park Service website states, among the dragonflies that inhabit the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, these insects are undoubtedly the most aggressive. Fortunately, they don't bother people and only attack other insects.
These dragonflies frequently dart from their perches to catch insect prey before flying to a handy location to devour it. Long leg spines on these dragonflies serve as a useful "basket" in which to securely clutch their prey. They will eat large insects, even other dragonflies of the same size, as their food.
Will they nip at humans? Like other dragonflies, eastern pondhawks are not hostile to people, so anyone watching them should not be concerned about getting bitten. However, any dragonfly, including the eastern, will bite when handled.

Zebra Longwing Butterfly, Heliconius charithonia (Linnaeus)
Introducing the Zebra Longwing Butterfly. I captured this video of a Zebra Longwing at the Tennessee Aquarium’s Butterfly Garden Exhibit in Chattanooga, TN.
According to flawildflowers.org (a link to the article is below) the Zebra Longwing is the state butterfly of Florida. The usual lifespan of an adult butterfly is between two and four weeks, but longwings have a secret technique that allows them to live for several months! A longwing gathers globs of gooey pollen on its proboscis while consuming nectar. The butterfly will spit digestive enzymes onto the pollen mass once it has accumulated enough pollen, breaking it down into a digestible, protein-rich supplement. This "pollen milkshake" aids in the development of eggs or sperm and extends the life of the butterfly.

Crested Wood Partridge, TN Aquarium
This is video I captured of the Crested Wood Partridge at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN.
According to tnaqua.org (link is below) The male is distinguished by a striking reddish crest, dark, blue-green feathers, and a vivid red circle around his eye, lower beak, and legs. The wings and head of the female are reddish, while the body is green. Crested partridges spend the most of their time foraging for food on the forest floor in flocks of five to fifteen. Five to six eggs are placed in the nest, which is a straightforward depression in dried leaves. The IUCN lists the Crested Wood Partridge in the wild as "Near Threatened" due to excessive logging and habitat loss. The Tennessee Aquarium keeps a breeding flock of two males and three females in the Butterfly Garden in Ocean Journey. They are quite common in captivity..

Golden Lion Tamarin at Chattanooga ZOO
I recorded this video at the Chattanooga Zoo in Tennessee on October, 2022. This is video of the Golden Lion Tamarin.
According to the Britannica website, the golden lion marmoset, or golden lion tamarin (Leontopithecus rosalia), is a species of tamarin with a thick mane resembling a lion's, a black face, and long, silky, golden fur. It is an animal with an impressive appearance that can only be found in fragmented forest environments in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro, where it is categorized as endangered. Gentoo & Macaroni Penguins
This is another video I captured while visiting the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN. The main characters are Gentoo & Macaroni Penguins.
According to tnaqua.org (link is below) Black gentoo penguins have a white belly. They have brown eyes, yellow feet, and a yellow bill. Over their eyes, three white triangular patches on their black head meet. They have a tail that is larger than those of other penguins. Although males tend to be larger than females, it can be exceedingly challenging to tell them apart.
With an estimated nine million breeding pairs, macaroni penguins are the most prevalent penguin species in the world. The head and upper body are bluish black, and the underside is white. They have a broad pink-skinned bill that is reddish brown in color. Pink defines feet and legs. A golden-yellow crest that stretches from the middle of the forehead and swings backward above the eyes is the bird's most distinguishing characteristic. Despite having a similar coat of fur, females are smaller than males.

Giant Anteater at Chattanooga ZOO
I recorded this video at the Chattanooga Zoo in Tennessee on October, 2022. This video is of the Giant Anteater display. It was very special to have such an amazing creature parade itself just a couple of feet away.
Below is a portion of information found on the Chattanoogan website about the Anteaters exhibit at the Chattanooga Zoo. Here is a link to the site for additional information:
https://www.chattanoogan.com/2019/2/13/384768/Chattanooga-Zoo-Opens-New-Giant.aspx
Her name is Betsy. Betsy the Giant Anteater was a new exhibit in Febuary of 2019. Betsy’s display has an indoor holding and keeper facility, a sizable outdoor habitat with a pond, and numerous public viewing locations for people to witness the gentle giant.
The Chattanooga Zoo boosted its conservation efforts in addition to growing its animal collection and exhibitory to aid in saving the giant anteater in the wild.
As part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' Species Survival Plan, Betsy was relocated from the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, Illinois. The SSP is a population management program that looks after particular species at AZA-accredited facilities to help them remain in the wild. Officials from the zoo aim to soon pair Betsy with a suggested breeding male through the SSP.
Mammals that eat insects include giant anteaters. They can weigh up to 140 pounds and reach a length of up to 7 feet from the tip of their snout to the end of their tail. Giant anteaters' noses are their most useful tool because they have poor hearing and vision. Their two foot long tongues and tubular snouts enable them to access small crevices where ants and insects may be hiding. Given that its population is currently dropping daily, the gigantic anteater is currently regarded as vulnerable.

Jaguars, Chattanooga ZOO
I recorded this video at the Chattanooga Zoo in October, 2022. This video is of the CORCOVADO JUNGLE / Jaguar area. It was an exciting experience.
The Chattanooga Zoo is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. According to the Zoo’s website, it dates back to 1900! The zoo has undergone multiple ownership over the years, housed various animals, but one thing remains constant: providing a happy healthy home for the animals, and engaging and inspiring the community to understand and preserve wildlife.
Below is a link to the Chattanooga Zoo website for more information. Please visit Chattanooga, TN!
https://www.chattzoo.org/explore/corcovado-jungle
According to Britannica.com the jaguar (Panthera onca), often known as the el tigre or tigre americano, is the largest felid found in the New World and may be found from northern Mexico to northern Argentina. Although jaguars often reside in swamps and forested areas, they can also be found in deserts and scrublands. The largest known population of jaguars is found in the Amazon rainforest. The jaguar is practically extinct in the northern part of its original range and only survives in sparsely populated areas of Central and South America (& the Chattanooga Zoo).
For more information on jaguars please visit the Brittanica Enyclopedia website. A link to their website is below.

TN Aquarium Jelly Fish
OCEAN JOURNEY / Boneless Beauties
I recorded this video at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN on Friday, October 14th, 2022. This video is of the Ocean Journey / Boneless Beauties area. It was a spectacular experience.
Below is a description of the area as per the Tennessee Aquarium’s website. Here is a link to their website for more information:
https://tnaqua.org/exhibit/boneless-beauties/
The creatures in this dimly lit gallery have wildly different exteriors, but all have one thing in common: they lack a backbone. The Aquarium features some of the strangest and most fascinating creatures on the planet, such as the magnificent Giant Pacific Octopus, the hovering Cuttlefish, which resembles a squid, and those spineless, brainless wonders, the electric jellyfish. These enigmatic animals pulse, dance, and enchant onlookers.
The gallery also has a distinctive, domed tank where visitors can view the fascinating habits of numerous enormous Japanese spider crabs.

Blue Morpho Butterfly
This is another video I captured while visiting the Tennessee Aquarium’s Butterfly Garden. The Tennessee Aquarium is located in Chattanooga, TN. The main character starring in this video is the Blue Morpho butterfly.
According to tnaqua.org (link is below) the blue color on this eye-catching butterfly comes from light reflecting off the overlapping scales on the butterfly wings. The brown underside helps camouflage the butterfly as it eats rotting fruit on the forest floor.
It’s range is Columbia and Venezuela to Mexico. It’s habitat is the Tropical forest and has a diet of juice from rotting fruit.

A Tennessee Aquarium Experience
The OCEAN JOURNEY / SECRET REEF
I recorded this video at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN on Friday, October 14th, 2022. This video is of the Ocean Journey / Secret Reef area. The experience was amazing and unforgettable.
Below is a great description of the area I recorded as per the Tennessee Aquarium’s website. Here is a link to their website for more information:
https://tnaqua.org/exhibit/secret-reef/
In the blue depths of the Gulf of Mexico,
about 115 miles southeast of Galveston,
Texas, an exotic, multi-colored coral
environment exists in harmony. This reef
system, the Flower Garden Banks National
Marine Sanctuary, is the northernmost reef
in North America and is inspiration for the
Secret Reef exhibit.
Perfectly depicted in a dimly-lit gallery with
mystical, underwater music, this exhibit
features the Aquarium's most jaw-dropping
animals: toothy, 10-foot, sand tiger sharks
and sleek, sandbar sharks. In addition,
guests can watch in amazement as
thousands of colorful reef fish swim about
while the larger Crevalle Jacks swim above.
Two impressive Green Sea Turtles can also
be seen gliding through the crystal clear
waters
The adventure continues as visitors make
their way further into the depths of the
Secret Reef as they tour the Ocean Journey
building. A wonder in itself, the Undersea
Cavern provides breathtaking, panoramic
views.
Visitors feel as if they are floating in a
bubble deep in the ocean while surrounded
by thousands of curious saltwater creatures,
like colorful fish and enormous sharks, in a
fantastic, brightly-colored coral setting. As
they make their way though the cavern,
they can view bottom feeders and observe
the behaviors of mysterious saltwater life as
if they were actually deep-sea divers.
Visitors are amazed when 10-foot sharks
swim slowly above their heads and schools
of darting fish move to and fro in every
direction around them.

The Small Postman Butterfly
This is video I captured of the Small Postman butterfly while visiting the Tennessee Aquarium’s Butterfly Garden.
According to tnaqua.org (link is below) they’re one of the most common butterflies of their family. As pupa they trick possible predators, as they look like dead leaves hanging from branches. When they reach adulthood, these butterflies can live about 6 months!
Here’s more information found at butterfliesandmoths.org (link below):
Family: Nymphalidae
Identification: Forewing black with pink-red band; hindwing black with yellow stripe.
Wing Span: 2 5/8 - 3 1/8 inches (6.7 - 8 cm).
Life History: Males patrol during the day for females, and also mate with females as they emerge from the chrysalis. After mating, males place a repellant chemical on the female's abdomen to keep other males from mating with her. Eggs are laid singly on young tendrils and shoots, which the caterpillars eat.
Flight: June and August-September in South Texas, all year in the tropics.
Caterpillar Hosts: Various passion-vines (Passiflora species).
Adult Food: Flower nectar and pollen.
Habitat: Tropical and subtropical forests and edges.
Range: Brazil north through Central America to Mexico; a rare stray to South Texas.
Conservation: Not required for rare stray.

Drone of DeSoto Falls, Alabama 2022
This is video I captured with my drone of DeSoto Falls in the state of Alabama, U.S.A.
According to Wikipedia, DeSoto Falls is a 104-foot (32m) waterfall located on the West Fork of the Little River near Mentone, Alabama, in DeSoto State Park. The falls have carved their own small canyon. They are named after Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto.
DeSoto State Park is a public recreation area located on Lookout Mountain 8 miles (13km) northeast of Fort Payne, Alabama. The state park covers 3,502 acres (1,417ha) of forest, rivers, waterfalls, and mountain terrain. It borders the Little River, which flows into the nearby Little River Canyon National Preserve. The 104-foot-tall (32m) DeSoto Falls, the state's highest waterfall, is found in a separate part of the park 6 miles (9.7km) north of the main park.

Monarch Butterfly
This is video I’m reposting of a Monarch Butterfly. I had uploaded it as a Viceroy Butterfly previously. Special thanks goes out to Rumble user DowagerLadyUrsula for the extra information needed to correctly identify this beautiful butterfly!
According to journeynorth.org, the coloring & pattern of monarch and viceroy wings look almost the same. A viceroy has a black line crossing the postmedian hindwing.
Viceroys are smaller than monarchs, although this size difference may be difficult to see in the field. Comparing wingspans:
Viceroy: 2 1/2 - 3 3/8 inches (6.3 - 8.6 cm).
Monarch: 3 3/8 - 4 7/8 inches (8.6 - 12.4 cm).
