If this video brought a tear to your eye and a little bit of hope, please donate today and help us save more animals in desperate situations like this. YouTube has made it so easy and they will absorb the transaction fee just so Hope For Paws will receive 100% of the funds.
Mary Chatman called me about Yara while she was on her way to church. You may know her name because she also called me about the blind poodle, Fiona - seven years ago! (and many other dogs).
I don't want to tell the whole story here, but I'll post it on our page:

Two abandoned friends living on the streets - one of them had a BIG SECRET!!! 🤭🥰 WATCH UNTIL THE END
Scripts like this can only be written in Hollywood and by Mother Nature! I'm so happy to close 2022 with this cute story, and I hope you will join our matching campaign so we can bring you many new rescues in 2023: https://gift.hopeforpaws.org/friends
Ross and Rachel were thrown out of a car, and luckily, the kind couple that spotted them kept an eye on them until I got there (it was a long drive to Central California). The rescue itself was quite easy, and these two #friends were happy to come with me in the #HopeForPaws rescue vehicle back to Hollywood.
Ross and Rachel LOVE each other so much and it was so cute to watch.
Toward the end of the video, you will learn that our Loreta Frankonyte whom you know from so many rescue videos, co-wrote and sang the song "Trouble with Boys" for the famous scene called "The Routine."
The clip I used on the video was mixed by DJ Junior Vasquez: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKt3gVrbcIc
DISCLAIMER: This audiovisual piece does not belong to me, the credits go to Reprise Records and Warner Bros. Records. For entertainment purposes only, no copyright is intended.
I also want to share a link from @Friends to Season 6 Episode 10: The One with the Routine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6Soblk_tnI
You can see Loreta like you've never seen before here: http://xoxoloreta.com/

You can also find her on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/xoxoloreta and on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/xoxoloreta/
Our friends at The Little Red Dog offered to foster Ross and Rachel and if you would like to adopt Chandler, Monica, Phoebe or Joey, please contact them directly: https://www.TheLittleRedDog.org

Hope For Paws' first Monkey rescue with a special guest star.
You all know Allison Dunbar from Rain's video and from Luna's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qN8DR... and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDZ1K...
Monkey was spotted by Allison while he was searching for food, and when she approached him, he ran away and hid inside a garage. She called Hope For Paws' emergency line and Loreta Frankonyte and I responded quickly.
The other day Loreta and I got to visit Monkey in his forever home, and it was so cool to see him happy in San Diego with his loving family. Thank you Maltese Rescue California for finding him that perfect home: https://malteserescuecalifornia.org/i...
Please use the #YouTubeGiving donate button and help us reach the goal so we can start 2019 in full force!
Thanks :-)

Rescue begins on the freeway, the police joined in, and also an unexpected volunteer! The end is 💝😻💖
Just when I thought my work day was over (after 10 PM), Nelly Barajas called me about an adult cat on the 91 Freeway! She pulled over, and the smart cat knew to run under her car, and then climbed up and disappeared!
This is an extremely dangerous situation because the freeway is very dark, and attempting a rescue when people are flying by at top speeds can result in serious injuries or more likely - death!
As I was heading towards Nelly's location, she told me the cat was NOT in her engine, but somewhere in the back area of her car. I had to make a very difficult decision and I asked Nelly to call the police and ask them to escort her safely off the freeway.
I instructed her to drive at 2 mph and this will give the cat a chance to survive in case she falls or decides to jump off! I knew this could be deadly for the cat, but it was just too dangerous to this rescue on the freeway.
I knew that Nelly would have to continue on the 91 freeway for almost 3 miles, then merge to the 605 freeway, drive another mile, and only then she will have an exit where we could work safely. I can't even imagine how scary this must have been to the terrified cat.
I arrived just 30 seconds after they exited the freeway and thanked the @California Highway Patrol for helping Nelly and the cat exit the freeway safely. A minute later, a young man with a camera approached us and asked "Are you from Hope For Paws?". I said, "Yes" (I was so confused). I asked Nelly "Did you call the news???". She said "No!". It turned out that while the drama was happening on the freeway, Nathaniel Holguin from@RMG Newswas listening in to the police radio, and because he loves cats, he decided to join us and offered to help. The first clip on their channel will show you how dangerous it is to top on the freeway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Osk8J...
I could tell that Lizzie had her ear tipped which means she was spayed in the past and released, so I knew there is a great chance she was a feral cat and that I could get seriously injured there.
The rest of the story is in this video and the ending is so sweet and so perfect for Valentine's Day 💝💝💝
I am happy to do all these crazy rescues even though I know those could be extremely dangerous. I can't imagine life without doing this work, and I would LOVE IT if you would join us and become a monthly donor of $5 here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/DonationR...
With the rising cost of everything (including veterinary care), I need extra help, and I would love to have more people join our team 🙏
How cool it would be to write on your Valentine Card "I made a donation to Hope For Paws in your honor because I know you love animals 💝"
It will take just a minute and will help us save animals all year: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
If you would like to adopt Lizzie, please contact our friends at Cat Connection L.A: https://CatConnectionla.org
Thank you so much!

Kittens almost got killed - it took 120 hours to complete this rescue! 🙀
PART 2 of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ot1O_...
Tomorrow we are celebrating the 13th anniversary of #HopeForPaws ❤️
We LOVE our work and that's why we don't mind working days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The only thing we ask for is your support so we can pay for the medical care needed for these animals.
↘
For our 13th anniversary, I would like to share 13 ways for you to help us save lives and I really hope you can help us with one:
1. Become a Hope For Paws member with a monthly donation here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org (you can also make a one-time donation).
2. Donate here on #YouTubeGiving on our anniversary campaign.
3. Donate CryptoCurrency here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/Donate_Cr...
4. Add Hope For Paws to your Will that can be created for FREE here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/FreeWill
5. Make a stock donation: https://www.freewill.com/stocks/HopeF...
6. Send a donation by check/money order. I open the mail personally and I love reading your cards with stories and photos of your pets. I will take a picture of a bunch of cards I just received and post it on our Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/HopeForPaws...
Our mailing address:
Hope For Paws
8950 W. Olympic Blvd. #525
Los Angeles, CA 90211
7. Donate via Direct Transfer on PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted...
8. Dedicate a gift and send a birthday card: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/memorial_...
9. Add Hope For Paws to your Amazon Smile: http://smile.amazon.com/ch/26-2869386 (it is just critical to remember to start every engagement with Amazon by typing "Smile.Amazon.com"). We will receive 0.5% of your purchase, so for every $200 you spend, we will receive $1 for the animals. We would need millions of people to sign up for this in order to make a serious impact... let's get this going 😎
10. Watch our videos - we get paid for these views, and the more we have, the more funds we will have for complex surgeries.
11. Share our videos - if every person will introduce just 3 new people who LOVE animals to our channel, we should be able to grow and save many more lives.
12. Start a Facebook campaign for your birthday and ask people to donate to our organization. It is so simple to create and will take less than a minute. Here is how to get it done: https://fb.com/fund/HopeForPawsCalifo...
13. Subscribe to our channel, like our videos, and comment to help us create engagement. This is your way to tell YouTube that you love our channel and they will promote it and help us reach new audiences. You can also download our Hope For Paws APP on the APP Store and on Google Play.
We would LOVE to do even more, but saving a lot more animals means a lot more expensive veterinary bills. I really hope you will join our team so together we can make this place a much better place.
Thank you so much!!!

We posted many new videos this week here, and I hope it will convince you to join our team: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
I know many of you are too young and don't have the ability to donate, so I would like to ask you to invite your parents to watch our videos with you, and maybe they will be convinced to make a donation.

Burned with acid, this poodle makes an incredible transformation that will inspire you!
Please make a special $10 donation for Hope For Paws' 10th anniversary: http://www.HopeForPaws.org
When we received the call about Alice out in the desert town - 2
hours east of Los Angeles, Loreta Frankonyte and I headed straight out to the rescue. We were told the dog had ingested acid , and it resulted in horrible chemical burns to the dog's mouth.
When we arrived at the rescue location, we were shocked... the dog smelled like she was rotting away. Hundreds of flies were surrounding her... it was just horrible.
Loreta placed the Lucky Leash around Alice and carried her to the Hope For Paws rescue vehicle.
At the hospital Alice needed some urgent medical care. Sadly, as of today, she had all of her teeth removed!
Alice continued to her foster home, and for the next two months Loreta cooked for her, treated her skin with coconut oil, and gave her lots of love. Loreta's dogs, Bonnie and Coco helped Alice learn how to become an adored pet :-)
Two months later, when Alice felt A LOT better, we asked our friends Chris and Michele Gentry to watch Alice for a few days while we had to run to a rescue in South Carolina (Hermione)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXtJc...
By the time we got back, Chris and Michele were completely in love, and they asked to adopt Alice. For those of you who don't know this amazing couple - they adopted Fiona from Hope For Paws 7 years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJkZX...
This is such an amazing ending to this story and we couldn't be happier for everybody! :-)
Today we are celebrating EXACTLY 10 YEARS since we founded Hope For Paws, and we would like to ask you for your help. If you appreciate our videos, please donate any amount you can so we can continue in full force to save these lives: http://www.HopeForPaws.org
Thank you so much for sharing our videos - I really appreciate it!

To adopt Zoe and Meadow, please contact our friends from Shelter Hope Pet Shop who are now fostering them:
http://www.ShelterHopePetShop.org
Hope For Paws was contacted by Vanessa Rosales about a scared dog who kept running away every time anyone approached her. The dog would always run into an enclosed property, and I asked Vanessa not to trespass and let us handle it.
When Lisa Chiarelli and I arrived, construction workers allowed us onto the property, and I highly doubted I would find her there because they were working and it was quite noisy.
To my surprise I spotted the dog (Zoe) and to my surprise I also found a puppy (Vanessa said it's possible she had puppies recently, but she couldn't confirm that because she had never seen puppies).
Lisa and I approached slowly, and I just knew that Zoe wouldn't leave her baby - Meadow.
We asked the construction workers where are the other puppies (it's unusual for a dog to just have one puppy), and they told us that 4 days prior to our arrival, kids had stolen the other 5 puppies. We asked if they knew where we could find these kids, but they had no idea.
Lisa and I sat with Zoe and Meadow for 30 minutes, gained their trust, and together we continued to the hospital for medical treatment.
A couple of days later, Zoe and Meadow continued to their foster home with Shelter Hope Pet Shop and they are now ready to be adopted :-)
Please share their rescue story on your favorite social media network so we can find them amazing homes.
Thanks :-)

Neighbors told us that his owner died and he became homeless.
Please add your pets to your will. Life is so fragile, something unexpected can happen at any moment, and we owe it to our pets that they will have someone to care for them should something happens to us. If you don't have a will, your pets alone are a great reason to create one to ensure their safe future.
We are making great progress with our campaign, and I hope you will all join us - no donation is too small - we want all of you to be a part of this effort.

Superhero mom tells me to BACK OFF!!! (But her kittens were so cute).
An army of 4 headed out to this rescue, but just two minutes into it, Loreta and I were called to an extreme emergency rescue (that video is coming up in two weeks). JoAnn and Katie completed this mission beautifully and thanks to them, Mystique, Superman, Aquaman, and Iron man are all safe and are now looking for a home.
To adopt them, please contact our friends at Room 8: https://www.room8cats.org
We would LOVE it if you would help us with a small donation today so we can continue saving more animals. Medical care for animals is so expensive (as I am sure you know), and just $5 from every person here will add up and will help us save them from life on the streets: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
It's important to understand that the life of a feral cat is usually very short (only 2-3 years). There are so many challenges out there, hunger, cars, predators, and by getting them off the streets and into homes, we increase their lifespan by more than 10 years! Not only their lives will be longer, but they will be happier and healthier because they will be loved and cared for.
Please join Hope For Paws today as a team member:

Oh, on TURDAY we have another AZG video for you with LOTS OF PUPPIES!!!

Breaking News: dog's owner died, and he was thrown down to the LA river 💔 #dog
Most people tend to think that if they die unexpectedly, their family or friends will take care of their pets, but our experience shows it's just NOT TRUE! Please, please, please don't leave this to a chance! #HopeForPaws teamed up with #FreeWill to enable everybody to write their own Will for FREE here: https://www.FreeWill.com/HopeForPaws ❤️
Nico had a microchip, so we were able to figure out who his owner was, and we learned that he passed away. We were able to connect with this man's two daughters who didn't care about their father's dog (they didn't even know to tell us his name).
Imagine your dog or cat in a terrible situation like Nico's situation and there is nothing you can do about it because you're already gone, but just looking from above in horror! Writing a will using this system will take 20 minutes of your time, and it will give you the peace of mind you deserve. Thousands of people already created their Will, and I really hope you will do it too.
It is the holiday, so many families are together, so it's a great time to have a conversation about it, make a plan, and then have a legally valid will in writing. I would recommend creating a backup plan as well because people's situations do change, and I am definitely open to having Hope For Paws as a last resort - just email me, and we can definitely talk about it. I just helped a really nice man who just passed away... I will talk about him in a video that is coming up soon.
If you would like to discuss this with me, please click on "Contact us" here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
If you will start the email with "Hello Eldad" it will automatically come into my mailbox 😊
May Johnson glanced out her office window one day and saw Nico down in the L.A. River! Mike Yurchuk filmed the clip at the beginning. May called Dennis Lake to figure out a plan to get help for Nico; May called the Fire Department, and Dennis called Animal Control, but they didn't get the help they hoped for. They saw the dog going into the tunnel (I didn't know that when I went on this rescue), Dennis waited for a long time to see if he comes out, but he didn't. Dennis went back to his office, looked at some satellite images to figure out how to get to the dog.
Animal Control called them back later on in the day and promised to come the next day.
The following morning, Eowyn Mishawn found Hope For Paws on YouTube and she texted me. I called her back at 9:30 A.M., by 10:00 A.M., Katie, Alex, and I were already down in the river. We had to walk about a mile to get to the area, I had a hunch he would be hiding in that tunnel because of the extreme heat, and sure enough, he was there, and so ready to be rescued 😊
Nico was adopted by Dennis' family and it was so cool to visit him the other day, seeing him with a brand new healthy coat, and loving his new life with his new family.
To help us save more lives, please join the Hope For Paws team with a small donation: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
Thank you so much!

Homeless dog didn't trust humans who tried to help her for months!!! We changed that ❤️

Katie McKittrick and Alex Babcock headed out and transformed this dog in the most beautiful way... make sure to watch this one until the end 😊

Kittens waited for their mom... she never came back 💔
Today I want to ask that every viewer will donate just $1 here on YouTube.
Every year, millions of feral cats are giving birth out on the streets, and as they have to go in search of food in order to produce milk for the babies, they have to cross busy roads, encounter coyotes, dogs, and other dangers that many times leave them dead and then, as if the tragedy is not big enough, the kittens starve to death because they are usually hidden really well 💔
After a whole year with minimal spay/neuter services by the city (due to Covid), the number of kittens born this kitten season is just unbelievable! Every day we are called multiple times, we are really trying our best to help everybody (as you can see, these are not the most exciting videos, so we don't usually film those).
Please help us spay more cats than ever before this year - Every spay will prevent the suffering of so many innocent kittens. Donating here will take just a minute of your time, and it will help us save so many more lives.
Joining us as a monthly donor will help us consistently to do this work month after month: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
$5 a month (16 cents a day)
$10 a month (33 cents a day)
$25 a month (83 cents a day)
Whatever you can afford will add up and will help us continue saving these helpless animals who would end up starving.
JoAnn Wiltz got to this family on time and since her birthday is coming in a few days, it would be so awesome if we could reach the goal and save more kittens in her honor: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
To help us find these adorable kittens loving forever homes, we need your help. Please like, comment, subscribe, and most importantly, share this video with your family and friends.
To fill an application for Marx, Fajitas, Kabob, Sparkz, Coleman, or Blue Rhino, please visit: https://KittCrusaders.org

Sick homeless cat needed a doctor ASAP! 🥶 + update below. #cat
Some rescues are relatively simple, but they are urgent! Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life... I was called to rescue a dog, and even though I was told that he was not seen in the past two days, I wanted to scope the challenging location in the mountains because I figured maybe the dog is just scared and hiding. This rescue mission turned out to be a complete nightmare because once I spotted the dog hidden in the bushes, I realized I was just looking at his lifeless body 😢
A scan for a microchip revealed nothing, there was no collar with a name tag, so the owner of this dog (if there was one), will never know what happened to their dog.
Please make sure that your pet is microchipped, and just as importantly, MAKE SURE the microchip company has the correct contact information for you! So many animals will get lost during the 4th of July, so please keep your pets safe. Also, if you don't know your pet's microchip number, please call your vet clinic right now, write it down, ask for the microchip company's number, and then call the microchip company to verify the information is there and that it is current.
Scout was very lucky that someone worried about him, contacted #HopeForPaws for help, and that Katie McKittrick was able to get him to CARES. The medical team worked together with the cardiologist, and I am very happy that Scout was adopted right away and will not have to spend the rest of his life on the streets.
It is estimated that there are 70,000,000 stray cats out there. Surviving alone without help is so hard, so especially now that temperatures are going up, please leave a bowl of fresh water out for cats. In your yard, outside your workplace, they are everywhere - even if you don't see them. Most of them are scared of people so they move around at night, and it would make them so happy to find water or even some dry cat food. The fewer roads they have to cross in search of food, the safer they are. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for your support! I will post a NEW video with me and Loreta on Sunday!

Delta - Dog Rescued today from the Rialto Airport (By Eldad Hagar)
Delta lived at the Rialto Airport along with Bud-Bud and Queenie for a year and a half. The other day when I got Bud-Bud and Queenie she ran away, and disappeared for three days. Today I went back to look for her, and I got her.
This poor dog is so skinny, and she smelled like a dead dog. I know that she was already groomed, and I am sure she feels a thousand times better :-)

Senior dog lived under a shipping container for 9 YEARS!
Josephine / Pheenie was left behind after her owner was deported. It is so sad she lived alone for so many years and I am so happy Persephone Harrington found her and called #HopeForPaws for help.
Loreta Frankonyte and I headed out early in the morning, and I really hope you will watch this one until the end - this will tell you exactly why we need the support of more and more people... we need to continue changing the lives of these animals.
If you can, please make a small donation here:
https://www.HopeForPaws.org
Please make sure to set up a plan for your pets should something unexpected happens to you. So many animals are left behind when a simple WILL can be written with instructions that will ensure their future. For that reason, Hope For Paws teamed up with Free Will to enable each and every one of you to write your own WILL for FREE: https://www.FreeWill.com/HopeForPaws
I understand it's an uncomfortable subject, but Free Will enables you to create your own Will in less than 20 minutes. This legal document will enable you to ensure the future of your pets and loved ones.
1,346 of you already completed your Wills through this partnership and I thank you for that. 20 minutes today will give you the peace of mind you deserve.
Thank you so much, L.A. Animals Rescue for taking care of Pheenie. If you are looking to adopt a new family member, please visit their website: https://www.LAAnimalRescue.org
