Breast cancer patients lives will now be extended as Betpawa Uganda in conjunction with Pink October Uganda support those affected by the disease. This was disclosed at the launch of the campaign to sponsor and donate artificial breasts to those that loose their breasts to the disease.

Uganda Railways Corporation has partnered with Cross-Cultural Foundation of Uganda and Vintage Collectables Rotary Fellowship to campaign for the preservation of heritage and historical infrastructures.

Kampala city is currently facing a serious issue of nearly impassable roads. Parliament has raised concerns over possible exaggerations in construction costs of these roads. In response to these concerns, members of the August House have called for an audit to investigate the expenses related to road construction under Kampala Capital City Authority. This recommendation is outlined in the report by the Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises- COSASE
