This is a fascinating take on Dead Space, and what it might've looked like if made during the 90s. Honestly, I think I spent more time getting lost, but that's half the fun of old games; figuring out where you're supposed to be. It's a neat little coffee break game and minor gripes aside I highly recommend you play it. I was sick when I recorded this, that's why I sound so hoarse. This was supposed to come out yesterday, but I didn't get around to it. Was playing a couple of pickup games and didn't do half bad.

The Split Skull Shield is on the lower end of mediocre, though it's a hell of a lot better than some of the other Uniques that are in the series. I wound up abandoning this shield by level 2/3 just because I had better options a lot sooner than expected. As for the quality...I feel like I could have done so much better on this video, even with my relative lack of experience in regard to video editing. So yea...I was making good progress and much like the Barathium mission I ended up getting my ass handed to me because I got over confident...still now I know what to do for the Fortress Falls mission.

The fleet has been sunk, the bastion destroyed, all that is left is the nest...

The ARM defense on Rougpelt has crumbled beneath the CORE Empire's assault...the stood no chance... In all due seriousness this mission was an absolute bitch to complete, particularly when the meteors agro'd the ARM's forces within the first minute of the game; often leading to an already difficult mission becoming nigh unbeatable. Between the gunship strikes and the massed assault-had to dig in and hide behind a missile tower forest and use my units as sacrificial lambs just for the towers to do something. Hopefully, it'll be smooth sailing from this point foward.
