Abandoned Marine Corp Support Facility
This large facility was abandoned during the Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. The facility contained all administrative and support functions for all tenant commands within the general region. In general, information is limited about all of its functions, but one could assume as a "command" support facility, it helped provide planning, logistics, and briefings of events.
History of this specific location is hard to find since once it became abandoned, it was removed from most maps. The Marine Corp currently has a new facility in New Orleans.

Exploring a small abandoned village in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone
Please hit that thumbs up and subscribe if you're a new viewer! We really appreciate it!
This small village one one of our many stops inside the Exclusion Zone. It was so interesting to see just how the buildings were left, as well as seeing a little bit of how people lived.
We ventured to Chernobyl last summer in 2021. Unfortunately, the future state of Chernobyl is unknown at this moment in time.

Return to The Old Bryce Hospital (The voices are real...)
Today, we venture back to the Old Bryce Hospital, also known better as the Jemison center, and out buildings, to explore the alleged haunting and mysterious light anomaly.
From AbandonedSoutheast.com: The Jemison family settled near Tuscaloosa, Alabama in the 1830s and became one of the wealthiest and most influential families in the state. Robert Jemison Jr. was a Confederate senator, businessman, and entrepreneur. His business empire grew to encompass toll roads and bridges, a grist mill, a sawmill, livery stables, a hotel, and six plantations totaling over 10,000 acres. Jemison was one of the leaders who built support for the Alabama State Hospital for the Insane, later renamed Bryce Hospital, which opened in 1861 in Tuscaloosa.
After his death in 1871, Jemison’s largest plantation, known as Cherokee Place, was bequeathed to the State of Alabama Board of Mental Health. During the Segregation Era, a separate facility was established for African-American patients. The building known as the Jemison Center was constructed a short drive from the main campus in Northport on what was once Cherokee Place and named for Jemison’s generosity. Before the Jemison Center was built, African-American patients were housed in the lofts of the barn at Bryce Hospital.
In 1970, the Jemison Center made headlines after a journalist from the Tuscaloosa News visited the facility and reported on the abhorrent conditions. “Human feces were caked on the toilets and walls; urine-soaked aging floors; many beds lacked linens; patients were sleeping on the floor. One small shower served 131 male patients; the 75 female patients only had one shower too. Most of the patients at Jemison were highly tranquilized and appeared to have not bathed in days. All appeared to lack any semblance of treatment. The stench was almost unbearable.” In 1971, the lawsuit was expanded to include patients at Alabama’s other inpatient mental health facilities. The resulting court-ordered agreements formed the basis for federal minimum standards for the care of people with mental illness who reside in institutional settings known as the Wyatt Standards. The standards are founded on four criteria for evaluation of care: humane psychological and physical environment, qualified and sufficient staff for administration of treatment, individualized treatment plans, and minimum restriction of patient freedom.

Rammstein - Zeit Album Review (And anything else you wanna talk about)
Just hanging out reviewing the brand new Zeit album from Rammstein. Also can discuss any other topics about upcoming videos or past ones.
Rammstein (German pronunciation: [ˈʁamʃtaɪn], lit. "ramming stone") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994. The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz—has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band have completed beforehand.

The Emerald Hills Hotel and Resort (Abandoned)
Make sure to click that like and subscribe button everyone and stay tuned for upcoming new explores! We appreciate all of you!
While it has changed names a few times over the years, the Emerald Hills hotel and resort was created and designed specifically to complement the Gardens which was such a heavy tourist attraction that a nearby hotel and restaurant was needed.
A golf course was also added as it would be perfect for the men who might tend to be bored with the Gardens.
During the mid or late 1990s a businessman names Alford purchased and renamed the resort to the Emerald Hills. But increased competition from a neighboring hotel and golf course caused the Emerald Hills into desperate times. Eventually the resort closed its doors for good in 2011.

Abandoned Church of the South (Dangerous Building, but Beautiful!)
Sam and I explore another amazing abandoned church in the South. This church's history is relatively unknown, but the large complex contained a main church building as well as a youth school. The building's structure was a huge concern as one building attached to the main auditorium was actually collapsing, causing a very sketchy entry into the facility.

Returning to San Haven Sanatorium
North Dakota law created the North Dakota Tuberculosis Sanitarium in 1909 (S. L. 1909, Ch. 137) to care for persons afflicted with tuberculosis. Originally known as the North Dakota Tuberculosis Sanitarium (later Sanatorium), the hospital was governed by a Board consisting of the Governor, the Superintendent of the State Board of Health, a member of the Public Health Laboratory, and two members appointed by the Governor. In 1911, the governing Board chose Dunseith in Rolette County as the home for this facility. The choice of Dunseith on the south slope of the Turtle Mountains was selected because of the higher altitude, less snowfall, drier atmosphere, and favorable conditions for patients with tuberculosis.
State resources did not cover the all of the costs for maintaining the facilities at San Haven and questions concerning adequate care of the developmentally disabled arose. This brought about a lawsuit in 1980 between the North Dakota Association for Retarded Citizens and the State of North Dakota. The court-ordered changes modernized the custodial system and gave the developmentally disabled residents an opportunity to live in their own communities. In December of 1987 San Haven State Hospital closed. The facility stood vacant in 1989 and the legislature in 1991 authorized the director of the Office of Management and Budget to sell, lease, exchange, or transfer the title of San Haven properties. In 1992 the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Tribe purchased from the State of North Dakota the San Haven property.

Abandoned Pool and Rec Center in Pripyat (Chernobyl)
Be sure to sub and like the video!
We ventured to Chernobyl last summer in 2021. Unfortunately, the future state of Chernobyl is unknown at this moment in time.
This old rec center and pool was located near School #3.
Pripyat is a ghost city in northern Ukraine, near the Ukraine–Belarus border. Named after the nearby river Pripyat, the town was founded on 4 February 1970 as the ninth "atomgrad", a type of closed town in the Soviet Union, to serve the nearby Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. It was officially proclaimed a city in 1979 and had grown to a population of 49,360[4] by the time it was evacuated on the afternoon of 27 April 1986, the day after the Chernobyl disaster.
This is just one of the many, many buildings…..
