The movie Patton that chronicles the many WWII conquests of General George Patton ends with the statement: “For over a thousand years Roman conquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of triumph, a tumultuous parade. The conqueror rode in a triumphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. And a slave stood behind the conqueror holding a golden crown and whispering in his ear a warning: that all glory is fleeting.” Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, or those who come to mind from modern times. Life is short, God is eternal, and narcissism and hubris is for the unwise

While sitting with my wife at an Indian restaurant (Kamal Palace) for dinner, the picture window showed a foggy scene outside (Long Beach Marina). Music was inspired by that scene of all the ships/boats in the fog.

Full of himself, as most vampires are, Dracula goes to one of the hottest clubs in town. Chooses his victim, a beautiful blonde in her 30's, and gets to dance. At the `right` moment he moves in takes his bite. They resume dancing, but something is wrong. The dancing is halting, and soon Dracula collapses, and is convulsing on the floor, hallucinating. Soon he dies (for good this time). His `victim` not converted to vampire status, laughs, and dances in triumph around his body. You see she is a health food addict and takes lots of garlic capsules. – The odorless kind, which were not detected by Dracula...until it was too late.
