In the near infinite universe, there is a multitude of voices

This is NOT political. When I speak of, "Aliens", I mean beings from distant worlds, on Flying "saucers", or other interplanetary vehicle, with a title taken from a section of Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition". I want to talk to the Captain of the ship from the Zeta Reticuli system.

In Universe Instrumata, eight different instruments get into a debate, but no one after awhile is understood. Then an invisible hand is waved and all are silent. A lecture to those eight happens, and all though not perfect, behavior is better

Violin is concerned about the woodwinds not getting along. Clarinet and oboe seem to have a sort of agreement, but bassoon and flute are angry, somehow. She makes an impassioned argument for all to do better, and oboe and clarinet readily agree, but the other not so. She makes a final push, saying the bassoon and oboe would be sold to a school with first year music students under 10 years old. The other two reluctantly agree and peace is restored.

In the parallel universe of Instrumenta, the oboe and the trumpet have a debate over modality, momentarily creating polytonality, but in the end trumpet wins. Violin and cello want to follow suit, but cello thinks violin is cute so he lets her have her way, so she wins. And, in the end Universe Instrumenta returns to calm

The corpse of Osama was dropped by the US Navy somewhere in the Arabian sea, after he was dispatched by Delta Force near Islamabad, Pakistan, off the coast of India (timpani) on May 2 2011... When it is dropped, three barracudas see it coming down. The barracudas debate (three separate choral fonts) argue among themselves about the fact that a long beard is difficult to chew through, and that there is a gaping hole in the side of the body's head with goo coming out. One barracuda even brings up the fact that Greenpeace should be contacted because dumping toxic waste like this body might be an environmental hazard. In the end they all feast on the corpse, with one barracuda saying at the end how tasty it was.
