Getting Sovereign-Mind & Body Discussion & Meditation with Earth Momma Living
What does it mean to feel sovereign in your body and your mind? Dictionary.com says:
sovereign (ˈsɒvrɪn): adjective (it can be used as a noun as well but for this blog post, I’m only looking at the adjective); belonging to or characteristic of a sovereign or sovereign authority; royal; having supreme rank, power, or authority; supreme; preeminent; indisputable: a sovereign right; greatest in degree; utmost or extreme; being above all others in character, importance, excellence, etc.; efficacious; potent: a sovereign remedy.
The thesaurus has even better ways for me to describe what I mean:
Autonomous, independent, self-governed…
All the catch phrases that have become trite and overused are: Mind your own business, who’s #1?, take care of yourself first, put up your boundaries, and the list goes on and on...
To truly feeeeeel it though? It’s freedom truly. For those of you who have suffered trauma growing up in abusive homes or simply weren’t taught how to take care of yourself emotionally or physically, this is especially important to lean into. When you were told to trust and listen to the parent over all your own thoughts and ignore anything that came from inside your own Self.
There’s a lot to this. It is no small matter. It’s like a part of your body was numb your whole life but now as you learn to hear your inner voice and trust yourself more and more, the ping of touch now is new. There is an uncomfortability in FEELING what has been hidden for your life. Oh, I know, you’ve heard it and felt it, but were told that it wasn’t real. That it wasn’t valid and not to listen to it or even acknowledge it.
The new feeling feels RAW. Painful almost sometimes because it is so new, but it’s also like turning on a bright light inside your heart and you feel extreme JOY.
Why is this happening now? I think a multitude of people are going through this. The awakening of our souls on this Earth. This isn’t just an experience for individuals but for all of us, growing together in one form or another, or separate but together on this earth plane.

So how can you integrate the beautiful healing available from energy workers and all these amazing workshops that are available and still feel like it’s a safe place to be vulnerable and connected to your highest good? How can you find a good practitioner that is a great match for YOU? Especially if you are new to receiving energy work?
You must listen to your own inner voice. I know that each of you has one and at times have heard it. It’s simply the awareness of it and acknowledging it. Also, know that just because one person might not feel like a good fit, doesn’t mean that ALL the practitioners of that kind of energy healing are not good. That one person might not be the best fit for you.
Review some information about the type of healing that you are going to experience. You can evaluate what you might encounter when you have a session. You’ll also have great questions for your practitioner. Ask them for resources if you don’t know where to start.
Get a referral from someone you know or from ratings online (if you’re not able to intuit if they are a good fit.)
Be really present and willing to give it a chance.
Follow up with the practitioner afterwards to give them feedback about your personal experience.
Schedule another one with the same or a different healer and evaluate for yourself what will be in your highest good and review what worked and what didn’t work.

Lots of miraculous and ridiculous things have changed more than I thought could happen in the world lately. One cool thing has been meeting lots of new healthcare workers who have crossed my path. They talk about how things need to change and they want to be a part of it and are literally doing that. That gave me great hope... Everyone Pees in the Pool Anyway--Earth Momma Living

I just pee in the pool…” and continued with telling me another story about his toys and which ones were his favorites, which ones his friends would tend to hog and then ran off to go to the bigger pool to find his Iron Man toy.
I was beginning to tell him before this that the community bathroom was locked and we’d have to go all the way around the building to go to the bathroom, when he interrupted me with this knowledge.
It occurred to me like someone had just lifted a major law of the land that: As everyone tries their best to do the right thing, to help people, to call their parents as often as they can, to buy the healthiest food, or just be the best kind of human being you can… sometimes they just end up peeing in the pool anyway. So why are we stressing about it or trying so hard anyway?
I laughed out loud with the boy and he laughed too, thinking it was great that I found his comment so humorous. Somehow it was freeing to hear that other humans on this planet weren’t perfect either.
Because I felt such a strong insistence on doing the right thing my whole life, it’s been so gratifying to see and hear others not always being that way either.
I nodded as I walked away as life continued around me while I savored this funny boom of a comment in my mind.
“People just end up peeing in the pool anyway.” Why do we think that no one else is sometimes taking shortcuts? Or just being human? Or just not worrying as much about what it is we think is being perfect?”
Musings from the seven year old elevated my psyche and made my own inner seven year old feel a little more free that day.
The beauty of just living our lives, not stressing over the smaller details that every single action and thought that crosses our minds will hinder or hurt others around us. I’m not talking about actually doing things deliberately to hurt or have a disregard for others at all.
What things have you been holding on to in order to be perfect in your own life? I don’t know, like do you feel like you HAVE to clean the toilets in a certain amount of time or bad things will happen? Deep down? Silly example, but what if you skip it one time, do it at a totally different time or day? …to do something else that makes you even happier in that moment, to mix up your rhythm? Nope, I’m not encouraging you to stop doing the things you need to do.
I’m asking you to look at your daily habits and feel inside which do you make yourself a little crazy over. It goes along with the thoughts of “What if I drive a different way to work all week this week? What if I just did my routine a bit differently? What will happen to my energies around my creative psyche?
I’m going to tell you that your inner child will smile at you. Think you are crazy and they will love it. They will giggle. Because I believe our inner kids think we have become really really BORING as adults. Guess what? You probably HAVE become boring.
I do from time to time realize that my routines need to be shaken up a bit to remember what’s important. When I drive to my usual destinations but on a different route, I see neighborhoods perhaps that I’ve never seen before or that have changed since the last time I was there.
Businesses have closed down, moved or look different. Or they have survived this stupid lockdown craziness from the last two and a half years, and I applaud them out loud, “Yeah! Oh thank goodness they are still here!” or “Oh $hit, oh no, when did they close down?”
I sincerely implore you to take your time in freeing up your creative, younger you simply by doing the adulting thing differently. The energies HAVE to change when you do this. A shift happens whether you actually intended it or not. Or like it. It’s a beautiful thing, being human and being open to the joys that we often miss every day. They are there. You just don’t see them anymore or forgot.

New Garden Plantings June 2022
I decided to throw caution to the wind and plant some new babies in pots on my patio. Here's what I got from Jackson & Perkins recently:
Cinco de Mayo™ Floribunda Rose
Blue Boa Hummingbird Mint
Dahlia 'Red Rock' Bulb
Gladiolus 'Alfalfa' Bulbs
(other plants on my patio include: basil, avocado trees (2), a rubber plant, vinca, yucca, some die-hard plant I got from IKEA years ago, bell pepper, some volunteer tree that started growing in one of my pots, and strange things growing in my compost bin, totally normal...)
They were all showing as available in my zone, which is 10, in Phoenix, Arizona. Sending blessings to them every day and also to my other plants on the patio which I also show you in this video. Happy June!
This is part of my healing process, generally speaking for my life. It's also a reality check about life and death and reminds me about having patience.

Why Long Distance Healing Isn’t as Foreign as You Think
Written and posted by Jackie Olmstead, May 30, 2022 – As I wait for my lunch to heat up, I am pondering how on Earth I can find the history of what type of healing that I do from thousands of years ago-to try to connect with our past healers so that I can connect to you today. Today’s capacity to heal long distance is not new, nor is it as foreign or far-out as you might think. It also goes beyond any particular religion or spirituality as it encompasses all of them.
The internet is a pretty big place to find this knowledge and I will give a simplified and more streamlined version here. If you think about our immediate history of spirituality and healing, you’ve got the major ones: Egyptian, Chinese (Traditional Chinese Medicine, TCM), Eastern Indian/Ayurvedic, Native American, Earth-based Pagan faiths, Christian faith, Jewish/Kaballah faith. And certainly with any healing work, you’ve got to intertwine the medical world, however disjointed or connected they might still be.
I have found some beautiful images of many types of healing over the millenia and certainly it isn’t meant to be complete or even a comprehensive way to show you all that has been formulated in our Earth’s history. But it is quite fascinating to look at them all together here in one article.
In Egypt, there is a temple named Edfu, which is dedicated to the god Horus, a falcon god, a temple especially devoted to essential oils, remedies, recipes and ways to use plant medicine for healing.

Yin and yang … are the beginning and the end of everything and they are also the cause of life and death. I think it is time that the medical world and the ethereal healing type of work be combined to work together–or at least BOTH sides admitting that they NEED to work together in a more conscious capacity. Funny thing: It IS already combined as they are truly working together on your health whether or not you acknowledge it.

Also, guess what? Not only do you do your own healing on yourself without even trying, but also those around you sending you long distance healing. Sometimes it’s intentional, sometimes it’s just as simple as “I’ll be thinking about you.” or “My thoughts are with you.”
“We have been sending you good thoughts and hope you are well.” That’s long distance healing. The world and your body are conspiring to heal you up.

Now, you could be blocking it yourself or doing further damage to counteract it, yes. Maybe you have some karmic stuff to work out by being sick or injured longer. Yes, this stuff serves you somehow. Have you consciously ever realized, “When I was sick that month, I realized…. How much I needed to slow down… That I need to spend more time with my daughter… that I miss my dad so much and I need to do something about that… I never realized how scared I was about being an adult in this world. I have fears about my safety more than I realized.”
I highly suggest Louise Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life book to look up the health connections to whatever ailment you have (here’s a page of affirmations: https://www.louisehay.com/affirmations/). If you can dive deep into what is ailing you, I guarantee that you will gain something from it if you allow yourself to feel into it. Some call this “shadow work.” It’s extremely beneficial and healing. Getting to the soul of the matter, understanding your Self more than you ever knew. Having a healer alongside you will help but you can do it yourself.

It was a surprising benefit to the larger than life healing process I was going through with my gut healing associated with celiac disease. It had started with eliminating gluten, then later switching to a whole foods plant based diet, changed it ALL around. The difference between me and someone who prays for you isn’t a whole lot, but it is a purposeful, more directed way to get to the source of what your body is trying to convey to you.
Healers have existed and served humanity for millenia. Egyptians drew them with ankhs and in healing situations very frequently; they had schools for medicine as far back as the 1st dynasty (c. 3150 - c. 2890 BCE). It is clear that over the millennia we have had many schools of thought on healing and medicine. No matter what practice we resonate with the most, each of us has our own way of connecting with the divine. I encourage you to identify which is yours and work with it on a daily basis and even further your healing by hiring or working with a practitioner.

When Things Are Super Wonky
What do you do? Because these times truly test you for when you’re either all out of balance yourself or your world around you is spinning super out of balance itself. And guess what? You need to grasp onto your own central point so that the winds, storms or people around you that are far from grounded will not thwart your own ability to function today. Yep and that’s it, just for today, because that is all we can grapple with.
Sometimes I find myself in those moments (like today) where I am using old stuff to get myself connected. Like social media, talking to people at work, shopping when I don’t need to, driving on fast roads like freeways when I truly don’t feel like it’s the best path.
Today I had to just take the longer road home from one of my destinations so that I was sure of my “stepping”. I scheduled myself to do exercise that I would normally be doing anyway by blocking out the time on my calendar. It’s an all-encompassing inner search for what can help me get my shit together (“get grounded” everyone says, but I like to throw in swear words to keep it real for myself, somehow grounding doesn’t have the potency that getting my shit together has).
The main thing is stopping in your tracks. Can you do that today? For real, sometimes it’s going into the bathroom (wherever you are) and looking at yourself in the mirror and saying out loud, “what can I do right now to help me get my shit together?” and say out loud what you “hear” if you do hear or see anything in your brain. I know you have the ability to sense what’s the best thing for you right now.
You can ask yourself some pointed questions like, “What would someone who has all their shit together do right now in my situation?” or “What would someone who really loves themselves do right now?” (a la Teal Swan’s teachings, have you read her book?)
What about “What could I do right now to get myself out of this funky wonkiness?” and really listen. I think that sometimes just taking this time to talk to yourself alone can help remember what you need to do.
Do you need to drink water? I forgot my water bottle today when I left the house… I live in Phoenix, Arizona, so it’s not a good thing to do (especially when it’s over 90 degrees). So one thing I did when I got home was to find that said water bottle, fill it out and begin drinking some water. By the way, in case you didn’t know, your body doesn’t just absorb all the water at once (sounds silly I know but I think inside we often think that things process fast like our brains think they should.)
Me writing today was one of the things I had to do for myself. I feel disconnected when I am not writing to and for you out there. My guides and my internal higher self (or however you need to define your divinity) need to speak through me and also help me on my own path and if I’m not writing, I am more disconnected to them.
The world is totally wonky right now, I know that you know. And so, seeing that we have this “condition” and in this very moment we cannot change it, we have got to get our shit together one day at a time.
What’s it going to take for you, my friend, to find your groove? Get your head back on? Be the mom you are needing to be in this moment instead of the inner 6 year old who is annoyed because the day didn’t go like you wanted it to? Hmmmm? I know you know. You’ve got to because in case you don’t then let’s get a list going here of ideas!
Ideas to help get your head screwed back on:
Take several long deep breaths in and out. Do that off and on for the rest of the day.
Drink good quality, filtered water slowly and all throughout the rest of your day.
Have some herbal tea and take your time sipping it (no gulping!).
Go exercise. Walk, lift weights, ride your bike, stretch, use that foam roller you have stashed away, do some yoga moves (search online videos if you need to).
Sit somewhere in your home where you don’t normally sit and look around and look for something that you never noticed before and ponder that.
Go to your room. (LOL) Read, no internet please when you do that. Give yourself a time out. Remember when our parents did that for us? Do that to yourself, make yourself go to a safer calm area of your home.
Take a bath or long shower.
Go for a scenic drive (no freeways if possible) and come back home after you feel a shift.
Listen to some quiet music (and that’s all.)
Meditate if you have patience at the moment for it. This is for when you can be more calm and sit still. If you’re already doing meditation, do another session. You know how and if you don’t actually, then talk to me down in the comments below and I’ll guide you to be able to. You might want to listen to my podcasts where I do short guided meditations (Apple, Google, Spotify, Anchor).
Spend time with your pets if you have any. Remember how you used to play with them a lot when they were babies (if you had them then)? If you don’t have pets, do you have any potted plants or a garden outside or anything from the Earth you can devote a little attention to? If you don’t have any of that, what about…. Try #12.
What’s YOUR way? Do what you know that you know separates out the stuff of the world and you are able to compartmentalize your own world into a manageable bite size thing. What can you do? How about pick a spot on the floor in your home and lay down with arms and legs all outstretched (if you can) and stare at your ceiling and just BREATHE.
Tell me how it goes today. I gathered up my shit today and feel much better. Now when I encounter more people or news or other SCHTUFF it won’t knock me off of my balanced space. I appreciate you all out there for what you’re going through. Tell me what you did today if you needed it to gather up yourself and be with yourself and love on yourself. Did you do it?

In today’s show I’m gonna talk about my LATEST BLOG POST because it’s that important to me. It’s really the foundation for healing, believe it or not. I am also going to do a quick 5 MIN MEDITATION for those of you who have told me that you “cannot meditate”. I really hope you enjoy it even for those of you who are seasoned meditators.
Before i get into it today, I give you my best words of advice about GATHERING INFORMATION from anywhere:
Please read and listen to information you find here and anywhere with discernment. And what I mean is, look things up on your own to confirm what you need to know and understand. Feel free to ask me questions. Not everyone has the whole truth, but when I look through and see multiple sources that contain similar or exact information, AND it resonates with me, then I sit with that until further or different knowledge is gathered. Does that make sense????
Here’s my core belief:
“In all that I do, I believe in challenging the status quo. I believe in trusting our bodies to heal themselves. The way I challenge the status quo is by teaching clean living by what we eat, what we allow around us and all that supports our bodies to heal themselves.”
Let’s do that QUICK SHORT GUIDED MEDITATION since we’re always practicing connecting and BEING in our bodies as it relates to the Earth and our higher selves. Let’s start (I am crafting this one for those of you who specifically said, “I cannot meditate no matter how ‘hard’ I have tried:):
There are a few things to know before we begin:
• Nothing is going to happen to you
• You will not float away
• You will not think nothing
• You will not stop your mind
• You will not solve all of life’s problems in a few moments of silence
• There is no right or wrong way to practice, you are simply going to sit and breathe
• Expect nothing from this experience but to sit and breathe
Next:
Posture is important, as you want to be comfortable and you want to stay awake (in this session, anyway)
• Please sit in a chair OR the floor but there is no need to do either specifically
• Keep the back somewhat straight
• Shoulders relaxed
• Hands resting gently on the knees or in lap or to your sides
• Feet flat on floor if sitting in chair
• Eyes closed if comfortable or slightly open, mouth open or closed
• Breathing thru the nose or mouth, whatever is comfortable
• Most important is to breathe comfortably
What stood out for you in your observing? Just think about that and let it sit with you for this week:
The most important part of meditation practice is now, immediately after, when you realize that any sort of quiet, still, peace or calm that you feel or any sort of racing mind you may have, has nothing to do with anything I said, has nothing to do with how you sit or cross your legs, and it has nothing to do with the sounds around us. It has everything to do with your own mind and your own mind’s reaction to an external situation.
What we realize from the practice of meditation is that this is our life every day, things happen and we react, more things happen, more reactions. Most people respond to meditation quietly, peacefully. But the question is how do you respond to everything else that happens in your life? For most of us, this feeling is quite different from how we felt an hour ago, or how we will feel an hour from now.
What we are working on is closing the gap to where the way we feel now, is closer to how we feel always. Just as driven, motivated, successful and productive, yet with a mind that is steady and focused, distracted by nothing and disturbed by no one.
Once we stop trying to change and control everything outside of us and we work on changing our mind, our heart and our reaction to the world around us, life gets a little easier, a little more peaceful, a little happier, yet ultimately nothing changed except our own mind.
SO, LET’S GET BACK TO THE DISCUSSION AT HAND:
….about my latest blog article – titled: “Why You’re Not Doing the Thing - Because You Only WANT to Do It” from March 30, 2022. Continuing the thought about hearing news or definitely KNOWING when there’s some underlying thing that you want or even NEED to do, let’s talk about the fact that you may or may not actually get the “call” or at least in a timely manner so that you have time to do the thing before it’s too late and it’s irreversible.
At these points of awareness, you must make some sort of decision.
Knowing how I am, I know that it’s pretty much an instantaneous thought process–what am I going to do? It’s either do something or put it away. And the easiest thing to do is: Put it away.
In an article by Psychology Today by Heidi Grant Halvorson called “How to Make Yourself Do It When You Just Don't Want To–Three strategies to help you stop putting things off.” she states 3 main reasons for not doing the thing: #1: You are putting something off because you are afraid you will screw it up. Her Solution: Adopt a “prevention focus.”
Next #2: You are putting something off because you don’t “feel” like doing it. Solution: ignore your feelings. They’re getting in your way…. She quotes: Chuck Close’s observed that “Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just show up and get to work.”
And finally: #3: You are putting something off because it’s hard, boring, or otherwise unpleasant.
Solution: Use if-then planning.
For me, it’s about reverse engineering the want/need/have to scenario:
Here’s the thing. Did you ever notice when you hear about people who find out about some serious health condition or that they were to lose their job or go to prison or get told that if they did NOT do the thing, they would have some seriously grave consequences… what is their reaction? They had that moment of absolute certainty that they would either HAVE to make the change OR else. There’s something that just happens in our brains. Our will-power becomes a super-power and those who pay attention to this and understand the actual consequences for the choice laid out before them, change in THAT instant.
I’m totally fascinated by this science. Because it feels chemical. I’ll never forget that moment my endocrinologist called me himself, “Jackie, we got your bloodwork back. It is 100% certain that you have celiac disease. From this moment on, you cannot eat gluten ever again. No more gluten, do you understand? Good luck.”
At first I was so relieved to hear that it wasn’t cancer or some other assumed death sentence as far as regularly-feared diagnoses go that you don’t want to hear from your doctor’s office. But it was THAT moment that my brain kicked in to say “I HAVE to make this change right NOW. Or else… my severe anemia, my stripped intestines, my extreme depression… will all continue indefinitely.” Also, it was the “good luck” part of his call that gave me a clue that I was probably going to have to do this on my own.
No question about it. Done. Decided. It was to be this way from then on for the rest of my life, and I said, “I got this. I will find out where this gluten is and I will not eat it or anything close to it any more.” I was relieved but knew I had a massive amount of learning to do right away.
The best part was that now that I discovered what the problem was, I knew now that it was all about wrapping the rest of my life around this, and it was all about “time management” as Psychology Today talks about. It wasn’t hard to prioritize my time, because I had to learn this stuff fast. The point is that the issue itself created its own solution because it needed to happen right away.
I know some of you have received these kinds of calls or messages that change your life from that moment on. It seems to be a normal thing that happens to us, usually with healthcare, don’t you think? Or perhaps births, deaths… news of other extraordinary events. What changed your life in an instant? I would love to hear your stories and that moment when you just KNEW everything would change (comment below this article).
The biggest question is: How can you recreate this chemical change that happens in our body or brain to make us immediately DECIDE that we HAVE to do this thing, whatever it is. This is a really good skill to have because you can affect change in your own life without having these scares, these major life threatening-feeling events that MAKE us do things when we didn’t feel ready for it.
Of course, you can always say, well, if it was meant to be, then it was meant to be and if I was supposed to lose those 10 pounds and become super strong and leaned up, then I would just fall into it or hire the right person or… all the excuses that come with not actually HAVING to do the thing, but only wanting it.
Dr. Joe Dispenza and other well-known people have talked about this ability to reconfigure and reprogram our brains to learn and heal what we need. Overcoming the simple “want” and converting it into a pre-empting HAVE to brain pattern. It is proven over and over again.
People in the sales field (really, anyone) can attest to successful “closes” where the conversation with the potential client reaches a breakthrough even on these complimentary calls, where they feel and foresee what it would be like if they did NOT reach their certain goal.
The person who is leading the call will ask very pertinent questions about what the potential person is wanting to do, whether it is to have that dream job where they can finally quit their “9-5” or uplevel their income for their current business to 7 figures instead of 6, or visualizing that legacy that they wish for for their families.
The coach or person advising them will then help them to see this goal, this dramatic change and help them see that it is indeed possible. And certainly the coach will have their own abilities to offer beyond this first call.
Yes, you CAN do this. YES YOU CAN do anything you want to. My suggestions on how to reprogram yourself (simplest method):
DIG: Simply digging deeper to find out what will happen if you do not do the thing. Write about it, talk about it, really FEEL what could happen if you didn’t do it. THEN write all the positive stuff that will happen when you do this thing. Write until you cannot even make up any more. Then write 5 more positive things.
REPEAT: Daily affirmations for this desire is pertinent and required. Your brain will listen to the repetition and it will drown out the “but I don’t wanna do this.” or other negative or fear-based talk. (Read Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” book, he’s all about this topic and this book is certainly a classic, must-read.)
SURROUND YOURSELF: Positive and encouraging people around you is extremely helpful. Move away from those who are not this way. When you encounter a negative person, MOVE AWAY physically from them even if you need to interrupt them mid-sentence. Suggestions: Go to the bathroom and look in the mirror and repeat the stuff from #1, get a cup of tea or coffee, go fill your car with gas, anything that is mundane but useful and kind of mindless. Go for a walk. Do you see where I am going with it?
RINSE. REPEAT. If you fall backwards, brush yourself off and get back into your groove. No one who succeeded in anything did it the first time, I guarantee it.
The idea is to have that feeling of “having to” do the thing before it’s too late or so far along that your guides or God or whomever you look to for support and guidance MAKE you STOP and look at what you’re doing and get you that feared diagnosis. Then you have a lot further to go to get that thing rather than if you can reprogram your brain to think that now is the time.
Now is the time, my friend. I love you. I want for you what I have been able to begin, myself. I am nowhere near being “done” on this Earth and I have so much that I want to do in my own time and with pure persistence I will get there.

In today’s show I will give you a simple meditation to use right now, and then read you a blurb from the latest writing adventure that I contributed to from last year’s book that was titled Disease Reversal Hope!
Before I get into it today, I love to always tell you my best words of advice about gathering information:
Please read and listen to information you find here and anywhere with discernment. And what I mean is, look things up on your own to confirm what you need to know and understand. Feel free to ask me questions. Not everyone has the whole truth, but when I look through and see multiple sources that contain similar or exact information, AND it resonates with me, then I sit with that until further or different knowledge is gathered. Does that make sense????
Here’s my core belief:
“In all that I do, I believe in challenging the status quo. I believe in trusting our bodies to heal themselves. The way I challenge the status quo is by teaching clean living by what we eat, what we allow around us and all that supports our bodies to heal themselves.”
To do this, we must first get quiet and learn about who we actually are. One of the things I highly recommend is to look up your astrological natal chart. If you’ve never looked it up, it’s basically where all the planets aligned themselves the moment you were born. It’s fascinating!
Here’s a website where you can look it up for free: ASTRO.COM under “Free Readings”. Ideally, you need to know your exact time of birth (within 10 min), place of birth and of course year.
I’m going to do a short guided meditation here since we’re practicing connecting and BEING in our bodies as it relates to the Earth and our higher selves. PLEASE do this only if it’s safe for you to close your eyes and be very relaxed. Save this podcast for later times of meditation…
EARTH MOMMA TOP 10 reasons to Make Your Own Food:
1. You know what’s in it.
2. Ingredients are predictable ie gives me xyz nutrients (macro and micronutrients)
3. Health benefits are astronomical, not to mention reducing TONS of waste out there.
4. Simplicity in food prep & storage. Longetivity.
5. Reduces waste in landfills & taking out your own garbage, reduced need to even recycle plastic glass & metals, paper.
6. COST
7. Education in what your body needs or doesn’t need.
8. END dependency on BIG corporations that dictated to us for 50+ years what we’re supposed to buy and eat manipulating us for their profit only.
9. Our KIDS----> pass down new generation of taking back our health & kitchens and our LIVES, health and POWER, and responsibility for our own health, knowledge to heal ourselves.
10. GODDAMIT less doctor visits!!!!??? Why???? Because you are healthier.

Falling Off the Gluten or Plant Based Wagon Earth Momma Living
(I teach this same mindset with going plant based)
When you get it, you never look back or WISH you could eat gluten again. HOW? I see so many moms out there post in our discussion groups, "I saw that doughnut/gluten hamburger bun/cinnabon/thing and I just had to eat it... anyone else feel that way?"
How do they change this line of thinking? What changed to get to this instead: "I don't even crave it anymore. I only look to how I can make or buy foods that make me feel GOOD. Thank you, Jackie for your guidance and making it easier." (paraphrasing)
Here's what I did with them (The Formula):
1. Why do you want or need to be gluten free (or whatever thing you are moving away from)?
2. What did it feel like when you had the problems, symptoms?
3. How can you bring back to your mind this aversion you had back then? Photos, notes, situations (specific!)
4. Anytime this feeling of lack comes up, bring out your #3 items
5. NOW bring out the positive reinforcement about what changed and how you feel so good now. What are your miracles? Mine were: Asthma and my hypoglycemia practically non-existant now. You WILL have miracles.
6. Hold it until the negative preference vanishes, and it will.
7. Rinse and repeat.
NOTE: While this system absolutely works, you must put forth a lot of effort and commitment to accomplish this. And by the way, this works for anything that you don't want in your life.
