Marriage is Tough Enough, Don't Be Your Spouse's Worst Critic
Marriage is a challenging journey full of ups and downs. No two marriages are alike, and each couple must find a way to make it work. However, one thing that can make the journey even more difficult is when one partner becomes the other's worst critic. We'll explore why it's so important to avoid being overly critical of your spouse and offer some tips on how to build a more positive and supportive relationship.
First, let's consider why criticism can damage a marriage. When we criticize our spouses, we tell them they are not good enough as they are—feelings of insecurity, resentment, and defensiveness. Over time, constant criticism can wear down a person's self-esteem and confidence and make them feel unloved and unsupported.
In addition, criticism can create a negative cycle of behavior. When criticized, a partner may become defensive or withdraw, which can, in turn, trigger more criticism from the other partner. - a toxic dynamic where both partners feel unheard and unappreciated.
So how can you avoid being your spouse's worst critic? Here are some tips to keep in mind:
1. Choose your words carefully. When you have an issue with your spouse, try to express yourself in a compassionate and constructive way. Instead of saying, "You always do this" or "You never do that," try to focus on how their behavior makes you feel and what you want to see change. For example, instead of saying, "You never help with the dishes," you could say, "I feel overwhelmed when I'm left to do all the chores alone. Could you help me with the dishes tonight?"
2. Practice active listening. When your spouse is speaking, try to listen to what they are saying. Avoid interrupting, and ask clarifying questions if you're unsure you understand. Help your spouse feel heard and validated, which can go a long way toward building trust and understanding.
3. Show appreciation and gratitude. Even if your spouse isn't perfect (and let's face it, none of us are), try to focus on what they do well and express your appreciation for them. Create a culture of positivity and support where both partners feel valued and appreciated.
4. Be willing to compromise. In any marriage, there will be times when you disagree about something. When this happens, try to approach the situation with an open mind and be willing to compromise. Remember that you're both on the same team and working towards a common goal of building a happy and fulfilling life together.
5. Seek outside help if needed. If you struggle to avoid being overly critical of your spouse, seek external support—counseling, individual therapy, or even talking to a trusted friend or family member. Sometimes an outside perspective can help you see things in a new light and give you the tools to build a stronger and more positive relationship.
In conclusion, marriage is challenging enough without adding the burden of constant criticism to the mix. You can build a more positive and supportive relationship with your spouse by choosing your words carefully, practicing active listening, showing appreciation and gratitude, being willing to compromise, and seeking outside help. Remember that you're in this together and that by working as a team, you can overcome any challenge that comes your way.

THE 360 ENTREPRENEUR’S FUTURE
Why Entrepreneurs Must Prioritize Family Life: Life Holds No Guarantees.
As an entrepreneur, it can be easy to get caught up in the fast-paced business world and forget what truly matters. However, it's essential to remember that our future is not guaranteed. While building a successful business is undoubtedly important, it's equally crucial to prioritize family life and build a strong foundation for the future.
Research has shown that entrepreneurs who prioritize their families are more successful in the long run. By balancing work and home life, entrepreneurs can reduce stress levels, improve their mental health, and increase their happiness. Additionally, investing in family relationships can lead to improved communication skills, greater empathy, and enhanced problem-solving abilities.
When entrepreneurs prioritize their families, it also helps mitigate the risks associated with entrepreneurship. Starting a business is inherently risky, and there are no guarantees of success. However, by building a solid foundation at home, entrepreneurs can weather business ownership's inevitable ups and downs with more confidence and resilience.
Here are a few tips for entrepreneurs who want to prioritize family life while still building a thriving business:
1. Set boundaries: One of the most critical things you can do as an entrepreneur is to set clear boundaries between work and home life. Ensure your family understands when you're working and available and stick to those boundaries as much as possible.
2. Get organized: Good organization skills are essential for any entrepreneur but significant for those who want to balance work and home life. Create a schedule that allows for quality family time without sacrificing productivity at work.
3. Learn to delegate: As your business grows, delegating tasks to others is essential, freeing up more time for family activities and reducing stress levels overall.
4. Make time for self-care: Entrepreneurs who prioritize family life understand the importance of self-care—schedule time for exercise, meditation, or other activities that help you recharge and stay balanced.
5. Communicate openly: Learning to communicate openly and honestly with your family is critical. Make sure your spouse and children understand the demands of business ownership and listen to their needs and concerns.
In conclusion, entrepreneurs who prioritize family life are more successful in the long run. By setting clear boundaries, getting organized, delegating tasks, making time for self-care, and communicating openly with loved ones, entrepreneurs can build a strong foundation at home while building a thriving business. Remember, our future is not guaranteed, but by prioritizing family life, we can create a lasting impact that extends far beyond the business world.

The Power of Positive Communication: Understanding Your Partner's Intentions
Have you ever been angry at your partner for not doing something to your standards? It's easy to get caught up in the details and lose sight of the bigger picture - their intentions. Understanding your partner's intentions can help you to communicate more effectively and strengthen your relationship.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that everyone has different ways of doing things. Just because your partner does something differently than you would, doesn't necessarily mean they're wrong. Before jumping to conclusions, please understand why they did what they did.
For example, your partner must remember to pick up a specific item from the grocery store. Instead of immediately getting upset and criticizing them, ask them why they didn't get it. Perhaps they were running late for an important meeting and didn't have time to stop, or they forgot. By understanding their intentions, you can work together to find a solution that works for both of you.
In addition, it's important to remember that no one is perfect. We all make mistakes, and how we handle those mistakes genuinely matters. For example, if your partner did something that upset you, take a moment to reflect on why it bothered you. Is it because they didn't do something to your standards or went against your values or beliefs? Understanding your feelings and motivations allows you to communicate more effectively with your partner and avoid unnecessary conflict.
Finally, remember to focus on the positive aspects of your relationship. It's easy to get bogged down by small things. Still, you can foster a more robust and healthier relationship by focusing on your partner's good intentions and qualities. Take the time to appreciate and celebrate what your partner does well, and communicate your gratitude to them.
In conclusion, understanding your partner's intentions is crucial for effective communication and a healthy relationship. By focusing on the bigger picture and acknowledging that everyone has different ways of doing things, you can avoid unnecessary conflict and foster a stronger connection with your partner. Remember to communicate openly and positively, and celebrate the good intentions and qualities that make your relationship unique.

Shh! The Inner Critic Whisperer: Silencing Your Negative Voice
We all have an inner critic, that voice inside our heads that tells us we're not good enough or can't do something. It can be hard to ignore this voice and harm our self-confidence and mental health. But it is possible to silence your inner critic and regain control of your life.
An inner critic is part of our psyche that judges us harshly, often telling us we're not good enough or capable of achieving something. It can make us feel inadequate or unworthy, and it can be difficult to ignore this voice. Our inner critic is usually formed in childhood when we learn to compare ourselves to others and internalize messages from our parents or other authority figures about what we should or shouldn't do.
The first step in silencing your inner critic is becoming aware of it. Please consider your thoughts about yourself and how they make you feel. Once you become aware of these thoughts, you can challenge them by asking yourself questions such as "Is this thought true?" or "What evidence do I have for this thought?" You gain perspective on the situation and realize that the thoughts may not be accurate.
Another way to silence your inner critic is by practicing self-compassion. Instead of judging yourself harshly for mistakes or failures, try to be kinder and more understanding towards yourself. Remember that everyone makes mistakes and focus on what you learned from the experience rather than dwelling on the negative aspects.
It can also be helpful to create a silly character in your mind who represents your inner critic. This character could be a cartoon version of yourself with exaggerated features or an animal like a grumpy cat who speaks in a funny voice whenever your inner critic starts talking. By creating this character, you are taking away some of the power of your inner critic as it becomes easier to laugh at its comments instead of taking them seriously.
Finally, try not to compare yourself too much with others, as this will only fuel your inner critic's negative comments about you not being good enough or measuring up in some way. Instead, focus on developing healthy habits such as exercising regularly, eating nutritious food, getting enough sleep, and spending time with friends and family who make you feel good about yourself. These activities will help boost your self-confidence and give you a sense of accomplishment which will help drown out the negative voices in your head.
By following these steps, you can start silencing your inner critic so that it no longer has power over how you think about yourself or how confident you feel in any situation. Remember that everyone has an inner critic, but it doesn't have to define who you are if you don't let it!

The 360 Entrepreneur's Past
Moving Forward: Why Learning from the Past is Essential for Entrepreneurs
The life of an entrepreneur is one of constant learning. Successes, failures, and everything in between can teach valuable lessons that shape the future of a business. Unfortunately, while learning from past mistakes is essential, many entrepreneurs fall into the trap of feeling guilty about them. As a result, you can prevent growth and hinder progress. In this blog post, we'll explore why entrepreneurs must learn from the past without dwelling on it.
The Importance of Learning from the Past
Entrepreneurs have a character of risk-taking and innovation. Finding a successful entrepreneur who has yet to make mistakes along the way is rare. Some of the most successful businesses in the world have failed multiple times before finding success. The key to success is not avoiding mistakes altogether but learning from them.
Learning from past mistakes is essential for the growth of a business. When entrepreneurs take the time to reflect on what went wrong, they can identify the root cause of the problem. For example, a business owner may realize they need to communicate more effectively with their team, leading to decreased productivity. As a result, they can implement new communication strategies to improve teamwork and increase productivity by identifying this issue.
Learning from past mistakes can help entrepreneurs identify areas for improvement, but it makes us resilient. Failure is a natural part of entrepreneurship, and it's important to develop emotional resilience to bounce back from setbacks. In addition, entrepreneurs can develop a growth mindset and view failure as an opportunity for learning and growth.
Why Feeling Guilty About Past Mistakes Can Hinder Progress
While learning from past mistakes is crucial, feeling guilty can harm progress. Guilt is a complex emotion that can lead to negative self-talk, self-doubt, and depression. When entrepreneurs feel guilty about past mistakes, they may become stuck in a cycle of self-blame that prevents them from moving forward.
Feeling guilty about past mistakes can also limit creativity and innovation. Entrepreneurs who are too focused on past failures may be less likely to take risks or try new things, leading to stagnation and a lack of growth in the business.
Moreover, when entrepreneurs feel guilty about past mistakes, they may be more likely to repeat them. Guilt can cloud judgment and prevent clear thinking, making it difficult to make rational decisions.
How to Learn from the Past Without Feeling Guilty
So, how can entrepreneurs learn from the past without feeling guilty about their mistakes? The key is to adopt a growth mindset and focus on the lessons learned rather than dwelling on the failure itself.
One way to do this is to practice self-compassion. Instead of beating yourself up over past mistakes, treat yourself with kindness and understanding. Recognize that failure is a natural part of entrepreneurship and use it as an opportunity for growth and learning.
Entrepreneurship is a journey filled with successes, failures, and everything in between. However, by adopting a growth mindset, practicing self-compassion, focusing on positive outcomes, and acting toward the future, entrepreneurs can learn from the past without dwelling on it. Remember, failure is not the end but an opportunity for growth and learning.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE
Blaming God or others for your problems is a common response when life gets tough. However, it is important to realize that blaming does not solve problems. You are accountable for your own life and decisions. Accepting responsibility for your actions is the first step in finding solutions to your problems.
Having a spiritual life can be an invaluable source of strength and healing during difficult or challenging times. Practicing prayer, meditation, contemplation, and spending time in nature can help to bring inner peace. By actively seeking out moments of stillness and reflection, we can reframe our thoughts and feelings around experiences from the past – allowing us to forgive ourselves and others.
Spiritual practices also cultivate a sense of connectedness with something greater than the self. This connection helps to foster resilience in times of challenge, as well as compassion and understanding for ourselves and others. Ultimately, nurturing a spiritual life can help us to better cope with adversity and heal from the past.

Treating Family Members Like Employees
When it comes to family members working in your business, it's important to remember that they are employees first. This means that they should be held to the same standards as any other employee. It's important to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and hold family members accountable for their performance.
In addition, family members should be subject to the same consequences as any other employee if they fail to meet expectations. If they are not meeting the standards that have been set, it may be time to have a frank conversation about their role in the business.
It's important to remember that if a family member decides they no longer want to work in the business, it is okay. They should not be guilted into staying or feel like they have to earn a spot in the family by continuing to work in the business. It's important to create a culture where it is okay to leave the business if it's not a good fit, whether you are a family member or an employee.

Thursday Inspiration - The 360 Journey
If one goes 360-degrees, one makes an entire circle or turn and is back in the original position. The circle has a starting point, and this begins with a decision to become a business owner. At the end of the ring, they decide to sell their business, close it, or give the company to a family member.
Suppose you can envision the circle as a path. In that case, you will find that as business owners walk the way, they touch the lives of their family members, friends, peers, community, customers, and employees. But, at the end of the journey, they must face themselves. So, the journey requires constant reflection on how they can improve these relationships to achieve success. The most important relationship is with themselves.

BREAKING POINT
There was a turning point. There was a time when I knew I was on a path to self-destruction if I kept going putting myself last. I am early on in writing this book, so perhaps I will share the moment I came to this crossroad. It was a painful one, so I have not decided; stay tuned.
However, the journey I am going to share with you is one I took personally. When I began the path of self-exploration, the need for perfection or comparing myself to others vanished. Instead of being on- demand for my family and business, I learned that boundaries are not a sign of weakness. I started living a life of intention and creation instead of living a life of survival.

Do you have a written business plan
When starting a business or partnering with your spouse, it is vital to have a transparent plan in place to ensure that everyone is on the same page and able to achieve their goals. A transparent plan allows all parties involved to understand the mission, objectives, and expectations of the partnership, clarifying their roles and responsibilities. Without a clear plan, business partners may encounter issues such as communication breakdowns, misunderstandings, or misaligned goals, which can hinder progress and ultimately lead to failure.
To ensure that a transparent plan is effective, regular communication and updates are key. Partners should commit to ongoing dialogue, discussing progress, challenges, and changes to the plan, as necessary. This communication will help each member of the partnership feel heard and valued, fostering trust and confidence in their ability to reach their shared objectives.
In sum, having a transparent plan is crucial for the success of any business partnership. It establishes a clear roadmap for achieving goals, helps align expectations, and provides a framework for accountability and communication. A transparent plan is an essential component of any strong and successful partnership in business.

ABOUT THE 360 ENTREPRENEUR
Thus, a 360-degree view of entrepreneurs’ life includes the past, present, and future. We learn from the past to better understand the present and make better decisions moving into the future. Tips, tools, and resources we create via social media posts, vlogs, blogs, ebooks, and other content resources, should feed into the entrepreneur’s self-reflection. It should help them overcome problems that challenge their relationships or business and support optimal decisions to improve their future.
The Past
Presenting a view of the past means providing a meaningful and easily digested view of the entrepreneur’s history. Unfortunately, entrepreneurs forget to reflect on their achievements. Instead, you find they are critical of their mistakes and tend to focus on their “failures.” Our role is to assist the entrepreneur in reflecting, acknowledging their strengths, and viewing their “failures” as opportunities to improve.
The Present
Our thoughts are compelling. Therefore, by changing how we think about our lives and circumstances, we can almost instantly alter the course of our lives. But, how do we help an entrepreneur do this?
How do we get them started? One way is to address unhelpful thinking styles and significantly influence how they interpret the world around them. The tools they need are best practices, experience sharing, and a list of experts to help them control their thoughts and make better decisions.
The 360 Entrepreneur
An entrepreneur who takes a 360-degree view of their lives is what we call a 360-Entrepreneur. There can never be an end to analyzing one’s life; failing to live life intentionally is the ultimate sin. Entrepreneurs must see they have a higher calling than any other individual in business and society. When small business represents 50% of the USA’s and 40% of Canada’s GDP, an entrepreneur’s decisions affect many.
My passion is to rid entrepreneurs of their ongoing guilt or “imposter syndrome.” We will challenge them not to be victims but become victorious over their challenges and obstacles. We will give them the tools they need to become more conscious humans, business owners, parents, community leaders, and citizens.

DO NOT BE SCARED
All entrepreneurs take risks, but it's how they respond to failure and use them as learning opportunities that makes the difference between success and failure. No matter how successful a person may become, they will still be vulnerable to experiencing failure at some point in their career. But without taking risks, it is impossible to find true success.
Rather than viewing failure as a setback or something to be ashamed of, successful entrepreneurs understand that mistakes are part of the process and can often lead to innovative solutions or new avenues for growth. Despite any obstacles, resilient entrepreneurs can use past failures as motivation for achieving bigger successes down the line. Knowing when and how to take calculated risks is key for any entrepreneur who hopes to reach their ultimate goals.
