YES LORD! ***One big thing I forgot to mention in this video is how the church is so divided today w/ all it's worldly created "denominations". Where in the Bible does it tell you to be a Catholic? Or a Presbyterian? Or a Lutheran? Or a Pentecostal? Or a Methodist? Or a Baptist? Or an Anglican? Or a this or a that?! How is it that we all read the same freaking book yet we are all so divided w/ these gazillion denominations??!! I think it's because people are so focused on their own ego and no one follows the true message of Christ - the KINGDOM OF GOD*** I believe the church has failed all of us for 3 simple and obvious reasons: 1. The church is a business 2. The church has turned into glorified “holy concerts” 3. These pastors are more concerned w/ numbers and their self image rather than the Kingdom! Recognize these pastors who flaunt their money, clothes and materialism. Look at all these churches that have gone “woke”. Look at these churches who glorify homosexuality, trans, indulge in the world and the flesh. Recognize these churches and pastors that promote the exact opposite of what the Word actually says! THE CHURCH IS SUPPOSED TO BE UNSPOTTED FROM THE WORLD YET THEY PROMOTE EVERYTHING IN IT! I share some of my experiences and thoughts on the Catholic church. I also share some very specific examples of a church I attended and got deep w/ to show you exactly why I carry this sentiment. There are more than enough personal examples I can share to convey this message; however, all you have to do is attend a church in today's world and see/feel it for yourself. Am I crazy? Am I the only one who feels this way?! YES LORD! Put Down the Phone & Lift Your Staff God has already upheld His end of the covenant - why are you not holding up yours? You cannot manifest the Kingdom of God passively or indirectly, YOU must take ACTION! No one else is going to do the work, not even God - that is why He has you Exodus 4:10-15 (Moses needing Aaron) - God don’t like excuses boy!! - God needs you to manifest His Kingdom - whatever you need, He will provide v.15 - He will show you the work you need to do Exodus 7:8-10 (cast down Aaron’s rod) - Do what God tells you, and watch the Kingdom manifest - God will allow you to perform miracles, ONLY IF YOU FOLLOW HIS COMMANDMENTS, TAKE ACTION & HAVE THE FAITH (MATT 14:26-30)(ACTS 20:7-12) - “He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies” Exodus 14:13-16 (the Red Sea) v.14 - Yes, the Lord will fight for you, but you gotta do the work LOL v.15 - STOP CRYING & START DOING v.16 - LIFT up YOUR rod & STRETCH YOUR hand v.26 - the Lord needs you to also finish the job/finish the task - do the complete work 🕺🏼FIND OTHERS TO HELP YOU DO THE WORK!!🕺🏼 Exodus 17:8-16 (Jehovah Nissi) Proverbs 27:17 - Iron sharpens iron ➡️ Faith in Action ⬅️ (MATT 21:18-21) Romans 12:2 Don't be conformed to this world but be transformed by the RENEWING of your mind Philippians 3:12-14 First action - FORGETTING what’s behind Second action - REACHING forward to the things ahead Third action - PRESS ON towards the goal Ephesians 6:10-18 (put on the whole armor) v.13 - take up the WHOLE armor of God v.14 - actively STAND therefore v.15 Putting on each individual piece of armor takes ACTION v.16 - ABOVE ALL taking up the shield of faith to QUENCH the fiery darts of the wicked one Jesus went to the cross and died for the Kingdom - what are you willing to do??!! YES LORD! In episode #5, we discuss how we can become better prepared for spiritual warfare, the authority granted to us by Christ, the devil's tactics and much more. Put on the FULL armor of God, and know what your arsenal is! Above all, lift the shield of faith. We need to be on the offense, and stop believing that we need to be weak, soft, tolerant and defensive believers. Realize who the enemy is, learn their tactics and exploit THE truth. In John 10:10 we are told that the thief only comes to steal, kill and destroy. I personally believe that the devil wants to: 1. Steal your identity 2. Kill your faith 3. YES LORD! In this video, I breakdown the four main issues I've struggled with which add up to my testimony: 1. The Mom Issue 2. The Friend(s) Issue 3. The Girlfriend(s) Issue 4. The Me Issue (really the #1 issue) Ultimately, I've battled with abandonment, verbal/emotional abuse and loss of love from my mother, the rejection of my peers, the overwhelming feeling of hopelessness and worthlessness, drug and alcohol abuse and the struggle of suicidal "fantasy". I've always hated myself and struggled w/ my own self acceptance, which led me to self-mutilation, and seeking external resources to fill the void in my heart - people, drugs, alcohol and pornography. PORN IS POISON! Drugs and Alcohol are DECEPTION! My brothers and sisters, what you need is the fruit of the spirit, and the living Word of God to come into your heart and spirit. Take it for a dude like me - I tried for years to do it on my own strength; I sought out counseling and therapy and meditation and self-help books and drugs and alcohol and girls all that worldy nonsense; and let me tell you, nothing is more powerful than the Holy Spirit of God Himself! YES LORD! In this first video of Seeking the Kingdom, I dive into the mission and purpose of why this channel was created, outlining the structure and the intentions thereof. The ultimate goal is to build culture around reading/speaking the Word and being bold in our Faith. I want to livestream reading the Word live w/ you, and be authentic while doing so.
