Since President Biden stepped into office, we have never seen such a large amount of spending through Executive Orders and Congressional spending bills. Congressional spending during Biden's term has totaled roughly 3.25 trillion dollars. If not for resistance from moderate democrats in office who were concerned about the state of the economy and rising inflation, he would have spent more. The American Rescue Plan passed through the House in March and saw as much as 1.9 trillion dollars in spending on Coronavirus relief in the form of weekly unemployment at $300 per applicant and stimulus checks. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill, although deemed much more appropriate by Republicans for spending on roads, bridges, broadband, and water pipes, was still a whopping 1.2 trillion dollars. And finally, while it did not make it to the president's desk in time, the proposed Build Back Better spending bill would run the U.S. 1.75 trillion dollars. On top of this incredible spending, while inflation is at record highs, Biden has sent 8.2 billion dollars to the war effort in Ukraine. It's time to hold our government to a level of fiscal responsibility that is budgeted so that we, the people, do not continue to foot the bill for the outrageous amount of spending congress and the presidential office spend. Senator Paul had another opportunity to grill Dr. Fauci, the president’s chief medical advisor, in a very heated exchange on the senate floor. Fauci in true form is unable to answer any of Senator Paul’s questions and dances around any questions directly related to the convoluted and damaging advice Fauci issued to the country during COVID. Throughout the years the political pendulum has swung further and further apart as politicians on the right seem to favor a closed border and heavy ICE enforcement and the politicians on the left favor ICE abolishment and an open border. For those of us at home it’s hard to differentiate between political rhetoric and base pandering versus actual border and immigration policy. It's been especially difficult in the last two years coming from Trump’s extremely pro-border security and wall policy to what seems to be an open border with hardly any policy at all. Critics of the Biden administration have made his border policy or lack thereof a main point in their disappointing reviews of Biden’s performance. When we examine the current situation, it forces us to pose the question - why is nothing being said or done with the current situation at the border? Polling data shows that the majority of American’s list border security as a top concern, and the media covers the current crisis multiple times a day and still we have heard no specifics on the current border policy, the goals of the administration, and the long-term solution. Other than burying their head in the sand and pretending it’s not happening, why else would the political elites in Washington be holding the border cards so close to the vest? The most obvious answer is that the motivation for the current policy has nothing to do with national security, the economy, and crime and more about politics. By scrutinizing the current open border policy and the current administrations sweeping amnesty agenda we can surmise that the flood of illegal immigrants is merely a voter drive. By allowing hundreds of thousands of new illegal residents into the country, then proposing amnesty could future proof any politician or party. The current white house immigration plan, which we heard on the campaign trail, includes no time frame for entry or stay in the country. Additionally, almost all requirements other than proof of tax payments and clear criminal records have been removed, making it the largest amnesty proposal yet. According to the most recent data from Pew Research, the current trend of typically democrat voters in the black and brown populations moving into republican or independent categories is not stopping. Not to mention as voter turnout rises in those communities, so does the shift in political affiliation. Democrats have done a good job recognizing the leak in their vulnerable bucket of voters, but also understand their options for refilling are scarce. What a better way to create undying party loyalty and significant voter increases then allowing hundreds of thousands of immigrants through the border and then eventually granting them citizenship? As much as this open border policy may help the DNC voter base in the long run, it puts politics before people. The open border policy hurts all Americans more than it helps one party. An influx of immigrants will immediately undercut the cost of American labor and drive Americans out of work, which we’ve seen in California, Arizona, and Nevada. Furthermore, American federal and state income taxes barely pay for the minimal services provided to contributors and by extending those services to hundreds of thousands of non-contributors it will only lead to increased taxes or increased spending, both of which have detrimental effects. Seeing that there is only one group benefiting from this open border policy it’s easy to understand the motivation. Open borders are simply an attempt by democrats to shift the voter pool in their favor. The consequences however, hurt us all and most importantly the immigrants themselves who are seeking a better life, but are just political pawns coming in to a country that can barely take care of its legal citizens. On Tuesday, President Biden an event celebrating the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act. This was only hours after a dismal report showing that the consumer price index rose 8.3% in August from a year ago. 😱 Biden of course berated Republican lawmakers for not supporting the bill, saying it "fell to Democrats to meet this moment and deliver for the American people." 🤦 He also said "Today’s data show more progress in bringing global inflation down in the U.S. economy. Overall, prices have been essentially flat in our country these last two months: that is welcome news for American families, with more work still to do," Amazingly enough, it is as if the emperor has no clothes! The gaslighting and continued ability to be obtuse about what is right before our eyes seems to be a specific talent of this administration. Phrases such as, "The border is secure", "This bill is about reducing inflation", "Employment and the economy are doing great!. seem to tumble from their lips while we see the country crumbling all around us. Yes, Mr. President, the Power IS in our Hands🥰 As I write this, the most delusional and destructive presidential speech I have ever heard in my 75 years on this planet has just wrapped up.😡 President Biden gave his speech in front of Independence Hall where both our Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed. This was not a rallying and unifying speech as promised. What we heard instead was a political diatribe. He wants us to unite behind him only in calling his opposition a threat to democracy (as he interprets it). Washington’s Latest Boondoggle- The Inflation Reduction Act 😱 In yet another glaring example of America’s dire need for congressional spending controls and fiscal oversight - senators passed the “inflation reduction act” along party lines with Republicans dissenting. Despite the misleading title and positive press coverage, economists all over the country have raised red flags around what the true impact of the legislation will have on inflation. Spoiler alert: it’s not a reduction. The bill has 4 main categories, the first two being spend and the last two categories being supposed revenue. The congressional budgetary office recently graded the bill finding the bill will contribute 20 billion dollars to deficit reduction within the first year. Aside from 20 billion being a drop in the bucket compared to the 2.8 trillion-dollar deficit, the revenue dollars listed lack consistency or facts to support them. The two main areas senate democrats claim will provide significant revenue over time are a fifteen percent corporate tax on companies earning more than a billion dollars in revenue and an IRS expansion to find “missing money.” The bill also touts major savings on specific medications. The problem is that NONE of these programs positively impact inflation. As a matter of fact, basic economics tells us the bill will contribute to inflation due to the additional spending and taxation. For example, a 15% tax on billion-dollar companies will force businesses to increase prices to make up the loss and or make cuts that may include layoffs, cutting employee benefits, and cut vendor costs. Price hikes from Americas largest companies impact the entire country. The multi-billion-dollar climate spending will immediately add more cash in circulation combined with increased prices by corporations is the very definition of inflation. In fact, it’s a sure way to throw the economy into stagflation. In addition, senate democrats believe sending the IRS to find “change in the couch” will amount to billions of dollars. However, there is zero data to back up these assumptions. According to the CBO, the IRS expansion will cost 80 billion but the increase in tax revenue will be 220 billion. As of today, there has been no shared specifics on what the IRS expansion means or who, what, and how the program will target the “lost funds.” It is fair to assume that all taxpayers will be affected negatively as this program is sure to indirectly raise taxes. The legislation also regulates prices on some prescription drugs which are listed as a “revenue driver.” It is simple to understand their reasoning. If drugs cost less, it will help offset the rising cost of Medicare and save tax dollars. The revenue number of 101 billion is a gross over estimate because medication and pharmaceuticals are driven by the market, not the government. Capitalism doesn’t allow for price caps and government interference and will ultimately push big pharma to find ways around it. Politicians in Washington are patting themselves on the back for lowering the cost of specific diabetes medications. According to the CBO this will equal 99 billion in revenue based on the lowered costs. However, at any time new medications that perform better and cannibalize the controlled medications can go to market and the revenue attributed to the cost caps quickly dries up. Like the IRS fishing expedition there is no way to predict the future of the market or what extra cash is lying around. Supporters of the bill claim the decrease in inflation will be the result of the reduction of the deficit by the ‘revenue’ collected. Contrary to what you hear from the Biden administration, there is no direct connection between inflation and the deficit. The deficit is a result of spending both new and mandatory. Inflation is a direct result of that spending combined with increased prices on goods and services. Since 1970 we have only had a surplus four times and all of which had different levels of inflation confirming that a inflation and deficit or surplus correlation does not exist. Furthermore, the bill allows for immediate spending on climate change initiatives and Medicaid but factors the income over a ten-year period. Essentially, we are adding to the deficit immediately while waiting for the ‘revenue’ to trickle in within ten years. This creates a double spend: one, the immediate spending increases the deficit immediately. Two, the third biggest expense of American tax dollars is the interest on debt and adding to the deficit increases the interest owed. In other words, adding to the deficit is not only driven by increased spending but it also raises the interest we pay to finance that deficit. Sadly, the inflation reduction act is a veiled attempt to deceive Americans by using terms like inflation reduction and cheaper medication when ultimately the bill does more harm than good. Disgustingly supporters of the bill are using the American desperation for some financial reprieve from inflation to instill false hope and gain support pre-mid-terms. This legislation is just a New green deal and welfare spending boondoggle package that will only hurt Americans. This unchecked reckless spending and unethical and dishonest press coverage is, yet another reason America is in dire need to convene a Convention of States. The good news is that the convention of states action is continuing to apply pressure on these politicians and shift voting patterns toward candidates that align with convention of states action agenda. This is and will continue to force change and push our movement further and faster. For decades the government has been passing laws and spending money that have come back to haunt our country. Yet, I stayed silent. Sure, I knew in my mind it was wrong. I would speak of it to a friend or a family member. One bad bill, one bad law, one bad decision after another. The corruption and the abuse of power is dangerously coming to its boiling point. A couple of years ago I was sitting on my sofa watching the news. I was contemplating what was happening in our country. Why wasn’t anyone doing anything about this crisis of conscience? I soon realized that if something were to be done it has to come from me. It has to come from you. We the People. I took it to heart. I came across Convention of States. I did my research. I never knew that Article V gave the citizens - through their state legislatures - the power to take their country back. I wasn’t confident in my Constitutional knowledge and whether I could be an effective volunteer for Convention of States. I thought about it and realized that most people were feeling the same way. I started reading up on the Constitution and Convention of States. I signed up to be a District Captain in early February of 2020. I remember making my first phone call to a petition signer. I was nervous. It didn’t take me long to start having hour long conversations with people. I enjoyed each and every phone call. I expanded my Constitutional acumen and my confidence. In March 2020 I became the State Grassroots Coordinator. I worried: Can I be effective? I returned to my original answer: “If not me, who?” If not now, when? As Maryland's Grassroots Coordinator, I have set a personal goal to develop 6 additional Regional Captains. Right now Maryland has 2 Regional Captains. What does this mean? We have multiple District Captains who will become Regional Captains. But in order to do this we need to build up our volunteer base to on-board and develop more District Captains. I can assure you; you have what it takes to volunteer. We all do. I am here to tell you that everyone has something to offer. Everyone has a skill and a gift. Whether it be to help set up meetings, door greeters, letter writers, getting petitions signed, block walking, calling and writing legislators. We need those willing to spread the word. Everyone can make a difference! One of my favorite quotes is from John Quincy Adams: Duty is ours; results are God’s. I love this quote because if God is speaking to you He will place the desire in your heart. He will give you the means and the ability to do what he has called upon you to do. He will place the right people into your life and He will provide. Nothing is more unique than the art of being free. Today, American citizens have never been in greater peril of losing their freedom. The Founders gave us the roadmap. It is up to each and every one of us to follow their instructions. We need to secure the liberties that were given to us for future generations. Canada’s Justin Trudeau proved the protesting truckers are right! Freedom Convoy truckers have swarmed Ottawa for the past few weeks to protest their government’s heavy-handed COVID actions — and by invoking that nation’s Emergencies Act, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau just proved their point. The act gives the government broad powers, such as banning public gatherings, restricting travel, freezing protesters’ banks accounts (without a court order!), using anti-terror measures to scrutinize crowdfunding platforms and suspending insurance on vehicles. Good Lord! Is Trudeau expecting Russia to invade Canada instead of Ukraine? “We are making these changes because we know that [crowdfunding] platforms are being used to support illegal blockades and illegal activity, which is damaging the Canadian economy,” Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland said.Fine: Send in law-enforcement — the Mounties, if need be — to clear out trucks snarling traffic. Maybe that’s why President Joe Biden has been cheering Trudeau on: The Canadian is a clear reminder that Biden isn’t the only incompetent world leader.

The Biden Administration just signed onto the WHO agreement which gives them full autonomy in the event of an emergency. Let's point out emergency is not defined and we saw the extent the federal and local governments went during Covid. We can be sure that under the direct control of the WHO it will be much worse. What more do we need to know than the horrific and thoughtless way they handled Covid?
