Hey Family,
Keven here with Kev's Castle and CastleRemodel.com. This video walks you through the steps on how to install a toilet. This project isn't hard at all, just take the steps listed in this video and you will be fine.
The most important thing to remember when you are doing this project is to not over-tighten anything because the toilet is made of porcelain. This material will crack at a certain point, and we don't want that, do we?
Removing the old toilet might be awkward, but you can remove the tank if you need to. It also helps if you have someone to help you carry the old one. The new toilet can be assembled in place, and each of the parts aren't that heavy.
I hope this video helped you out. If you got value out of it I'd appreciate you hitting the like button. And for more videos like this tap the subscribe.

Hey folks,
In this video I show you how to install a double curtain for blackout shades. The curtain rod is a double rod so you have the option of having either a blackout shade, or a sheer blind on your window. This gives you two very cool options to choose from.
The first step to installing the curtain rod is to find the studs. This is going to be the best option for how you install it because if you use drywall anchors you have a good option of accidentally pulling them out when you open or close them.
once you have located the studs, you will want to install the brackets one either side of the windows. Make sure the window is centered between the curtains.
after the brackets are installed you will be able to attach the rods. There are pieces that slide over the brackets and hook on using a set screw. Use the supplied allen key to screw in the set screw.
After the two end pieces are on it's time to put the rods up. But first you want to slide the curtains on. The curtain you choose will depend on if you are putting up the sheer curtain or the blackout curtain.
The two different curtain rods are different thicknesses, and will need to be paired up with the correct match.
after both rods have their curtains on them, and are hanging up correctly, it's time to put the center piece up. This will help support the weight of the curtains.
Find the center between the two end points of the curtain rod. Make a mark on the wall and hold the bracket up to the curtain rods. Mark the holes for the bracket. this is where you are going to drill pilot holes.
Check if there is a stud there you can screw in. If there isn't you can use the anchors. Install the anchors in the holes you made, and use them to screw up the bracket.
After this bracket is up, you are done installing your curtain rod. Give them a test pull to see how they slide.
Congratulations on installing your blackout curtains.

Multi Tool: https://amzn.to/3TiVdLU
In this video I show you how to fix a door that sticks at the top. You don't need to cut the door down, or altar the door jamb at all. The only way to fix it is to first understand what is causing the problem.
If a door is sticking at the top, it is probably because the house is settling, and one of the jambs sunk slightly. After recognizing this issue, you can then go about fixing it the right way.
Remove the casing from the side of the door that is sticking. And remove the casing from the top. will need to remove the casing from both sides of the door.
The casing on the side that isn't sticking does not need to come off because we will not be doing anything to this side. This is the side of the door that we are going to try to duplicate on the other side of the door. If we can do this the door jamb at the top will be level and the door will stop sticking.
Once the casing is off in these locations, you want to cut the screws or the nails that are holding the jamb to the wall. Make this side of the door loose to be able to level it.
Use the multitool with a metal cutting bit to cut the screws or nails. Then the level will help make the jamb level. Put some shims behind the jamb on the side you are trying to fix. You don't need to put any at the top.
Put one or two screws at each part you have shims at. You only need them in three locations (top, middle, and bottom). Drill pilot holes for the screws at these locations.
After you install the screws, and both the top and side jambs are level, you can put the casing back on. Make sure the corners are square, and then nail them back on. If you were careful removing the casing, you can reuse it. But if you damaged it too much you may need to replace the pieces with new ones.
There is one way to fix it the right way. Take your time, and go methodically.

How To Install A Garbage Disposal | Installing an Insinkerator 1/3 HP Garbage Disposal
InSinkerator 1/3 hp Garbage Disposal: https://amzn.to/47C2eeL
Multi Screwdriver: https://amzn.to/3vzY1Lb
Oatey Plumber's Putty: https://amzn.to/3vBlD2a
Electrical Tape: https://amzn.to/3U36QY3
If you don’t know how to install a garbage disposal, it would feel practically impossible. The truth is you don’t need any special tools to install one. In fact, this article will show you that anybody who knows a few DIY basics can install it in about an hour. Read this article to get a hassle-free guide on how to install a garbage disposal.
There are many garbage disposals to choose from. If you haven’t decided on one for your home yet, then I am going to recommend the Insinkerator Badger 1 model. It is ⅓ horsepower, which is plenty of power for your home’s kitchen. Click the link below to take a look at it.
Installing a garbage disposal is easier than you might think. This article is going to show you how to install one if you have electrical power under your sink. There are two forms this power can come in. The first is for there to be a power outlet that is available under the cabinet. The second is for it to have a hardline connection directly to the garbage disposal.
Required Tools:
Oatey Plumber’s Putty
Hacksaw
Flat Screwdriver
Wire Strippers
How To Install a Garbage Disposal in a Double Sink
The steps outlined here include how to install a garbage disposal with and without a dishwasher. If you have a dishwasher connected to your existing garbage disposal, you will follow the steps outlined below for that. If there is no dishwasher connected, skip those steps.
Turn Off The Power
The first step for any job that you are working on anything that has electricity running to it is to turn off the power at the breaker box. This can be easy if you have a well labeled panel. But if it isn’t labeled very well it might be a guessing game.
Test if the power is off before you make any assumptions. The easiest way to do this is to flip on the switch for the garbage disposal. It is safe to begin if it doesn’t come on. Remember to flip it off though, because you don’t want the new garbage disposal to turn on when you turn the power back on.
This is also the right time to remove any products that are in the way. Find a place to put as many of them as possible. You want to have as much working space as you can. For the installation.
Disconnect The Old Garbage Disposal
There will be two screws attached to the discharge pipe. Back those out all the way and set them aside. If there is a dishwasher attached to the disposal this is a good time to remove the hose that attaches it. To do this turn the screw on the pipe clamp counterclockwise until the clamp is loose. Then pull the connection off the garbage disposal.
There are also three screws facing upward just beneath the sink. Loosen each of these about half way. If you use a screwdriver for two of them, the third should be able to loosen by hand. You want to back them out enough to lift the bottom of the bracket up towards the sink.
Once these screws are loose and the drain pipe is disconnected from the garbage disposal, hold the bracket steady with one hand and twist the garbage disposal to the left with the other. This should pop it loose.
After it is movable, take a flat screwdriver to pop off the metal ring that is holding the pieces of this bracket together. To do this first slide all the parts upwards towards the sink. This will allow the ring to be visible. While holding them up with one hand, use a flat screwdriver in your other hand to slide the ring downward.
Is the garbage disposal plugged into a wall outlet, or is it hardlined in? If it’s plugged in you can simply pull the plug out and the garbage disposal will be free to move. You will need to attach a power cord to the new garbage disposal, and may need to reuse the old cord. Both methods are the same from this point on.
If it is hard lined in, you will need to remove the wires before you can lift the disposal away.
To do this simply turn the disposal upside down, or lay it on it’s side with the bottom facing you (whichever one is easier for you). There is a small metal plate with one screw in it near the location the wires go into the bottom. Remove this screw.
There should be two wire nuts, and one grounding wire screw. Remove the wire nuts, and loosen the screw. Once all three wires are free you should be able to pull them out. You may want to clip them close to the location they were twisted if this is easier.
Disclaimer: Only clip them if you have plenty of length on your wire left. Also only do this if you have a wire stripper handy and are comfortable with stripping the wires later. It can be a larger problem if there isn’t enough length to hook up the new disposal.
You also want to remove the connector the wires are going through. There are a couple of screws that can be removed. Once the wires are pulled out you can turn this connector counterclockwise to remove it.

Hey folks,
Thank you for watching another episode of Kev's Castle. In this video I teach you how to install a new exterior door knob.
You will learn how to remove the old door knob. And you will also learn how to install a new door knob.
I like using power drill to remove the old door knob. But that is not the best tool for installing a new door knob. This is because you may run the risk of stripping the screw head with the power drill.
Installing a new door knob is very easy, if you know how to do it. Don't cut any corners, take your time, and you will do fine.
Thank you for watching this video. Please leave a comment below if you have any questions.
