This study investigated the effects of consuming a combination of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis GCL2505 and inulin on abdominal fat reduction. The results showed that participants who consumed the combined beverage had significant reductions in visceral fat area and total fat area compared to the placebo group. A new study by Johns Hopkins Medicine suggests that epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a compound found in green tea, could be a promising treatment for uterine fibroids. The study found that EGCG reduced the protein levels of fibronectin, a protein involved in fibroid growth, by up to 52%.
