The Opposition of Saturn
The term "Opposition of Saturn" typically refers to the phenomenon of Saturn being in opposition to the Sun as observed from Earth. This occurs when Saturn, the Sun, and Earth are aligned in a straight line, with Earth in the middle. During this alignment, Saturn is opposite the Sun in the sky, rising in the east as the Sun sets in the west, and setting in the west as the Sun rises in the east.
When Saturn is in opposition, it is usually at its closest approach to Earth for that particular year. This makes it an excellent time for observing the planet through a telescope, as it appears brighter and larger in the sky compared to other times of the year.
Saturn's opposition happens roughly once every 378 days, which is the time it takes for Earth to complete its orbit around the Sun while Saturn takes its longer orbit. Keep in mind that the timing and specifics can vary slightly from year to year due to the eccentricities of the planets' orbits.

Super Blue Moon Is Coming- August 2023
Super Blue Moon; The biggest and the brightest Moon of the year is coming, and you should not miss this opportunity. Sky-gazers will be treated to a rare astronomical event when a Super Blue Moon rises with Saturn on August 30-31.
A "super blue moon" is a rare celestial event that occurs when a full moon coincides with two unique factors: the moon is at its closest point to Earth in its orbit (known as the "SuperMoon" phase) and it's also the second full moon within a calendar month. The term "blue moon" traditionally refers to the occurrence of two full moons in a single month, which happens infrequently due to the moon's roughly 29.5-day cycle.
During a super blue moon, the moon appears larger and brighter in the sky compared to a regular full moon because of its closer proximity to Earth. The combination of these factors makes the event visually striking and captivating for sky watchers. However, it's important to note that the moon doesn't actually appear blue in color during this event; the term "blue" refers to the rarity of the occurrence rather than the moon's hue.

Best Video On Moon Strata
Virtual tour of the Moon in all-new 4K resolution, thanks to data provided by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft. As the visualization moves around the near side, far side, north and south poles, we highlight interesting features, sites, and information gathered on the lunar terrain.
The Moon's surface is a captivating blend of vast plains, rugged mountains, and ancient impact craters. Its desolate landscape holds clues to both its history and the history of our solar system. From tranquil "seas" to towering peaks, the Moon's surface tells a story of cosmic forces and celestial evolution.

Planet Mercury Path Around Sun
Planet Mercury follows an elliptical orbit around the Sun, its closest point called Perihelion and farthest known as Aphelion. Due to its eccentric orbit, Mercury experiences extreme temperature variations, from scorching days to frigid nights. A year on Mercury, completing its orbit in about 88 days, is shorter than its day due to its slow rotation.
Starting around approximately 1200 - 1808 UTC (7:00 am - 1:38pm ET) November 11, 2019, NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory watched as Mercury move across the Sun. The Solar Dynamics Observatory views the Sun in a variety of wavelengths of light in the extreme ultraviolet.

Water In Space
How Water behaves in Space..!!
Water in space behaves differently. Surface tension and capillary flow can be harnessed to move fluids in more efficient ways. What looks like fun could actually help us improve systems for moving fluids in microgravity, in things like fuel tanks for space travel. Find out more about fluid physics in space in our researcher’s guide: https://go.nasa.gov/2KShhuT Learn more about the research being conducted on Station
