This morning I had my Neurologist appointment I've been waiting months for. It was well worth the wait. I may have the cause of my foot pain figured out. Mounjaro may be back on the table for me as an option when I need to control my blood glucose levels again! It got so bad that I had trouble walking on it. I started to get woken in the middle of the night with extremely painful foot pangs. It was getting to the point that I was averaging about 3 or 4 hours of sleep per night. Since I stopped the Mounjaro injections my foot pain has subsided. I still have moments...but they are becoming fewer and farther between. I'm also getting better sleep now. I stopped taking my weekly Mounjaro GLP-1 shot about a month ago. I had been experiencing increasing pain in my right foot. It got so bad that I had trouble walking on it. Is Mounjaro causing this pain in my foot and ankle? Is it neuropathy? Am I having a bad reaction to Mounjaro? I stopped taking my dose last Monday. I’m going on my 22nd week on Mounjaro. This video updates my week 21. I'm currently on the 5mg dose of Mounjaro but it looks like I may need to move my dose up to 7.5mg soon. My blood sugar is no longer controlled in the 90-100 range. Last week's blood glucose average was 117. Time to call the doctor. I take Mounjaro for my diabetes and for weight loss. This has been a God-send! Here’s this week’s numbers! This video was recorded on 4/3/24. My 5mg dose of Mounjaro was taken on 4/4/24. 4 April 2024, Thursday Taking Mounjaro for 21 weeks going into week 22 Starting blood sugar: 474 Blood sugar average this week (week 21): 117.75 Blood sugar average last week (week 20): 96.8 Weight this week (Week 21): 159.6 lbs Weight last week (Week 20): 157.8 lbs Gain/loss this week: +1.8 lbs Starting weight 225-250 lbs (not real sure as I stopped getting on the scale past the 220 lbs milestone. Denial is a real thing y’all). Starting weight day 1 of Mounjaro (Week 1) 185-190 lbs. Began Mounjaro for the Type 2 diabetes primarily. 548 💖💲 ✌ We took a gamble last year on some snow equipment. The Farmer’s Almanac assured us that there would be plenty of snow and ice in central Oklahoma. The weathermen were calling for a cold wet winter. Never happened. We made almost zero money with our salter and plow last winter. At least we now have the equipment for when we do get some white stuff or ice. In business you will sometimes have to gamble a bit in order to grow. Sometimes our gambles don’t pay off.
