Sierra Trail Camera videos

We have a pair of young foxes at the campsite. Hopefully they will hang around.

It is only a brief 10 seconds at the beginning but such a beautiful animal.

Slowly from the misty fog it appears.

He did his close-up (very close) and then smelled the bucket of apples I forgot. Watch till the end as the lighting changes and you see him munching one of the apples.

Our dog got distracted from his toy and then panicked when he thought he lost it. Possums had been at the corner during the night.

Later that night a racoon came looking for the nuts and ended up crawling over and knocking the camera down. Great close-up.

We had placed nuts under some moss on the tree for the squirrel. But something else found them.

So they one raven ripped this large piece of moss from the tree. Eventually they broke it apart and flipped it down into the water. Hard to believe a bird could rip it off and toss it down.

Hunting for Bugs and Talking. This is very different from the loud squawks they make. This was personal between a couple of birds.

We hadn't seen her for at least a week. We thought the worse but here she is back at the biscuit bowl.

It is not unusual for us to get a daytime shot of the little one. He often will come out and snag a biscuit early before the bigger ones come out.

There were times he seemed nervous-staring across the campsite. Later when checking the other cameras we saw the bear was back.

The racoon hung out for awhile even venturing up to the cave. There he watched the mice running around below. This back and forth went on throughout the night.

Someone new has discovered the treats at the possum cave. If you watch you will see the possum watching the racoon enjoying the treats.

Just a flock of turkeys going by.

We had a couple of mama's with the young ones come through and find the carrots. In this shot we have one of the young ones happily kicking up their heels and running off.

He ate some more and then went and made himself comfortable on the bridge again.

He settled in for the nap and then decided to stick his head through the gap and get a drink.

He came through and hung out for a few hours eating and napping. More videos to follow.

This is why this bear was napping so much. He had spent quite a bit of time cleaning up (gorging) on about 15 pounds of dog food.

This was one of the bigger bears. He ended up eating a few of the apples and later finding the sealed bucket of dog food. He ripped a hole in the top and dumped it in the creek.

He really was settling in for a nap when we came down and disturbed him.

This guy came and went a few times. He is walking on the other bank to get an apple floating on the water's edge.

The eyes you see staring are a mountain lion. He even lays down and watches. Not sure if he is watching our dog Lux or waiting for our cat Rain.
