Hike In Tahoe National Forest// Views, Lakes, Streams
It was an absolutely beautiful sunny day in the Tahoe National Forest, making it a great day to get out and hike in early spring. I decided to start my day at the Carr and Feely lake trail head off Bowman Lake Rd. The temp was perfect and there was not a cloud in sight. The snow on the trail added a little more excitement and adventure. The further out you went, the snow became more dense but it began to melt as the day heated up which made the hike more difficult. The lakes I was trying to fish ended up being frozen, so instead I just took in the sights and sounds of the beautiful out doors.

Hiking To A Waterfall// Desolation Wilderness// Horsetail Falls
~It was a beautiful day up in the Sierra Nevada mountain range hiking to Horsetail Falls. Horsetail Falls is located in Twin Bridges, California at the edge of Desolation Wilderness. Today I started my hike right off at Pyramid Creek Trailhead right off highway 50. I had full intentions of hiking to the lakes above the falls and do a little fishing but a few dumb mistakes made it not safe for me. I forgot to bring my water filter so by the time I got to the falls I had drank all of my water. I also got a late start and the day got really hot so I decided not to push myself. Better to be safe than sorry. Hopefully next week I will get an earlier start, bring my filter and then we will get a little fishing in. So stay tuned for that in the next week or so.

HIKING and FISHING in TAHOE NATIONAL FOREST (MONSTER CATCH)
Today started off as a cold morning with snow on the ground that soon turned into an absolutely gorgeous afternoon with the sun shining through the trees. I hiked from Fuller Lake to the outlet of Fordyce Creek located in the Tahoe National Forest. Along the way, I encountered many breathtaking views and passed some raging creeks. To top off an already perfect day, I managed to wrangle in three massive rainbow trout which I was super stoked about! . If you enjoy this video, please Like and Subscribe for more weekly videos..

Solo Hike To Grass Lake //Desolation Wilderness //Glen Alpine Springs
~I took a beautiful hike to Grass Lake at the edge of Desolation Wilderness and it was awesome to be able to hike through Glen Alpine Springs. Glen Alpine Springs was the first family resort in the Lake Tahoe Basin and was established in 1878 . A few buildings are still standing and are in relativity good condition. The hike to the lake does not take long but has some breathtaking views along the way. Mosquitoes have arrived so make sure to bring the bug spray!
