Of the Perseverance of the Saints. A great chapter, but hard one to read aloud! Over half done!

Of Repentance Unto Life and Salvation. Repentance described, as well a the need for continuous repentance addressed.

Of Good Works. Half way through the Confession! We are told what the place of 'Good Works' are for both believers and unbelievers.

Of justification. this is the very centre of our salvation! Great stuff! Too many misunderstand as well, either intentionally or because of poor teaching.

Second London Baptist Read Aloud, Chapter eight; Of Christ the Mediator.

‘Human Inability’ is the doctrine that declares that all descendants of Adam have lost the natural ability to understand and respond obediently to God without direct intervention of His Spirit. This doctrine is taught in 1 Cor 2:12-14, including a look at some specific phasing in the original Greek. In this devotional we see how this truth must affect our pride, as well as our evangelism.
