Jhal muri recipe - Jhal muri is a tasty and very popular street food snack from Kolkata. This vegan snack is made with puffed rice and other tidbits like roasted peanuts, onions, tomatoes, boiled potatoes, spice powders and herbs. In Bengali language ‘jhal’ means spicy and ‘muri’ means puffed rice.

A dosa (also dosai or dosha) is a thin pancake or crepe, originating from South India, made from a fermented batter predominantly consisting of lentils and rice. It is somewhat similar to a crepe in appearance, although savoury flavours are generally emphasized (sweet variants also exist).
