DIY DLG Mini Crow
Construction and flights of a 19-inch derivative version of The Crow indoor Hand Launched Glider(HLG) by Marousz Wrona. His original contest winning indoor HLG can be seen at https://jhaerospace.com/product/crow-f1n/ with kit availability and other details about the original.
This video show a 19-inch park flyer designed for Catapult or Discus Launch use in my local parks using Foamboard (Depron), a carbon fiber tube, and a foam plate. I fly DLG or Catapult gliders as part of my morning exercise routine rather than than just taking boring walks around the park. I get plenty of exercise chasing down free flight
I may make a radio controlled version in the future using slightly larger dimensions to allow for the extra weight of RC equipment.
If you would like a PDF of this design you can email me at jeagleson945@gmail.com to request a copy.

Hoosier Baby Daddy foamboard converted to Capacitor power.
As my Hoosier Baby Daddy DLG (or TLG) degraded in performance with use I decided to add an 8.5x20mm Brushed Motor powered by a 10 Farad capacitor to see how that would work. The video shows the modification and some flight video during my maiden and trimming flights.

Hoosier Baby Daddy DLG - Foamboard version
I borrowed a design from Free Flight magazine but implemented the wings and tail from foamboard and foam plate materials instead of Balsa. The video provides basic construction details as well as flight footage.
Bruce Kimball designed this Tip Launched Glider as Hoosier Daddy with renaming by Jim Buxton for the smaller version. Plans are also available for both at www.discuskid.net.
