Back to the Bible (Back to Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for Parents
Parenting is a divine role and calling delegated to us by our Creator. Parents are not just providers and caregivers, but also spiritual guardians tasked with the sacred duty of nurturing their children's spiritual growth. We have ultimate authority over our children and are the primary educators of our children. We teach at all times by words and demonstration of the spiritual biblical principles that guide us throughout the day for their spiritual well-being.
In the hustle and bustle of life, parents often grapple with striking a balance between imparting worldly wisdom and divine instruction. As spiritual guardians, it's crucial for parents to guide their children to meaningfully engage and apply the Word of God at all times. Parents are to guide their children in understanding and obeying God's commandments, as discussed in Deuteronomy 6: 1-7.
Parents should be the first to teach their children, by word and demonstration, the following:
• Pray
• Study
• Fast
• Praise
• Worship
• Hear the Lord
• Discern between truth and error
• Forgive
• Love
We encourage parents to lead by example in demonstration and to take an active role in their children's spiritual education. Be vigilant about who is teaching, counseling, and administrating within the school system, and take a more active role in your child's growth overall as we are held accountable by the utmost authority, the great giver of life, our heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Utmost Importance of Fathers and Families
Christians are pilgrims and sojourners passing through a world that is at war with itself and that is at war with all those that are just passing through. There is a moral, spiritual wickedness and sickness in our society found in the hearts of men.
The world is actively working toward the dissolution of families as we once knew them, redefining them, and destroying common fellowship with one another with neighbors.
Why? Because families are the foundational building block of all human societies. As families go, so does the nation.
On a spiritual level, it works the same. As individuals and families grow up and mature in the Lord, so does the body of Christ. The enemy knows that the stronger God’s children are in families, the stronger they will be in Him.
Jesus is using all these fights/battles/wars to find out who will stand with Him. It’s part of His remnant refining process.
There are battles in differing levels and corners of society that need to be fought, but our nation needs a fresh wind of grace – the Spirit of the Lord (the spirit of repentance).
We must fight the spiritual battle because it needs to be fought and we are the only ones that can. It is through prayer and our consecration to the Lord with our lives that we fight these unseen spiritual forces.
We combat the curse in our land with the spirit of Elijah that restores the heart of the children to their heavenly Father.
If men are going to have a Godly impact on the world, we must first have our own house in order. We must be individually reconciled / restored to our heavenly Father, ministering the love of Christ to our wives, and ministering the Father’s love to our children. Men need to take full responsibility for ourselves, our families including our wives and our children. The only way to adequately do that is to consecrate ourselves to the Lord: His Word, His Will, His Works, and His Ways. We need to fear Him more than any man.
So we dedicate and consecrate ourselves as men of God, mighty men of valor, to be leaders under the covering of His direct leadership. Men who seek out a deeper and more intimate walk with our heavenly Father to grow in knowledge and understanding of God’s word as we learn to hear His voice and obey. Men who will stand, never compromising or bending the knee to the spirit of this age.

The Importance of Discipleship
1) The disciples followed Jesus.
2) The disciples were taught by Jesus.
3) Community/family was formed and established over time.
1) Disciples today follow Jesus.
2) Disciples today are taught by Jesus through the Spirit from apostolic doctrine.
3) Disciples today develop their families in the community of fellowship over time.
1) Learn to turn to the lives & writings of the apostles and prophets to solidify our foundation in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Eph 2:19-20 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, (20) having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
2) Be humble enough to grow up and mature together as the living, breathing house of God (family of God) on earth.
Eph 2:21-22 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, (22) in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
3) Develop a discerning ear to the voice of His Spirit and learn to be led by Him.
Joh 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Freewill Offerings
Giving in the name of the Lord is like sowing. It's investing in others and helping to meet their needs, whether material, emotional, spiritual or otherwise for the sake the Kingdom. When we give back to the Lord to honor Him, it is borne out of a deep and sincere gratitude for the lovingkindness and mercy that the Lord has showered upon us. We are reminded that we love Him because He first expressed His loved toward us in the Son of God and giving is how we can bless Him in return.

The Demanding Love of God
What does love look like?
Does God really love us just the way we are?
Truth be told, His love demands holiness and perfection. As a matter of fact, God loves us so much that He is not willing to accept and leave us just the way we are. Rather, the love of God is firmly committed to completing the work that He demands of us in our life. But it will not come to fruition, if we don't come to understand what it looks like to love Him in return.

The Blind, the Lame, the Deaf, the Mute and the Dead
The Lord tells us through Paul, the apostle, that the things of the Spirit of God are spiritually discerned. Whenever we read the bible, we must have spiritual ears and spiritual eyes to both truly hear/understand and perceive the true spiritually meaning and significance of what we are reading. The same is true for the exploits of God in miracles, signs, and wonders. Otherwise they can become lying signs and wonders, meaning the miracles help men and women to believe in a lie because of the sign and wonder they experienced.
This particular study will help us to be open to God's real intent and purposes in displaying His might and power in the earth. Jesus reiterated an old covenant prophecy, but gave it spiritual meaning and significance. He said, "And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'HEARING YOU WILL HEAR AND SHALL NOT UNDERSTAND, AND SEEING YOU WILL SEE AND NOT PERCEIVE; FOR THE HEARTS OF THIS PEOPLE HAVE GROWN DULL. THEIR EARS ARE HARD OF HEARING, AND THEIR EYES THEY HAVE CLOSED, LEST THEY SHOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES AND HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, LEST THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEARTS AND TURN, SO THAT I SHOULD HEAL THEM.' But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."
Hopefully, this teaching may help us all to see that the blind, the lame, the deaf, the mute and the dead are not merely to be interpreted in a natural way, but more so in a spiritual way regarding the types of hearts of men which has far greater eternal impact and significance.

Seasons of Renewal
The same way we see seasons in the earth, or what some call “mother nature”, we all experience changes of season in our life. The natural does give a reflection of the spiritual. That’s why Jesus used so many different parables of “nature” to convey the kingdom of God to His people.
God has seasons for His people. Every change in season must be preceded by a change in preparation and action. Our natural physical life is cyclical and is a picture of our process to spiritual maturity.
To be ready to move with a fresh anointing (a new thing), we must be made anew as well to walk in it. If we remain as the old, we end up deceiving ourselves into thinking that the old is better than the new (Luke 5:39)

Desperate Faith
In America, we wonder why we don't see the miracles...
Have we considered that in America because of our super abundance of materialism, wealth, high degree of medical and pharmaceutical advancement and other such related things that there really is no desperation for it. We are dependent on too many things in this life and we are not forced to be dependent on God himself.
However, even in our society, there does come points and times in our lives where we run out of options that we've grown accustomed and we become spiritually desperate because we have nothing else to turn to. Every tangible thing we have tried has come to naught or failed.
There are some things that God has purposely allowed in our lives that make it so that anything in the natural is not capable of solving it or meeting that need, and thereby He orchestrates the circumstances to cause us to become desperate for Him.

One Thing that Matters... (part 2)
In the second of this two part series, we build on the groundwork laid upon in part 1.
Does my life experience line up with the Word or does it make me an exception to the Word? Our experiences in life do not trump the Word of God.
Our experiences in life don’t makes us an exception in eternity outside the boundaries that God has declared from the foundation of the world
We discuss the buffet of Christianity and how it is a result of the perversion of the obedience to the gospel of the kingdom. This has brought about over 45000 different denominations and sects that abide under the umbrella of what we know of as Christianity.
Then we take a walk through Acts to answer the question, "How does one obey the gospel of the kingdom?"

One Thing that Matters... (part 1)
In the first of a two part series, we lay the groundwork for part 2 based upon the living epistle of the testimony of Jesus in my life.
Everyone in life has their own unique experiences. Some elements we all share and others we can only imagine. Our personal experiences are never perfect. There are no perfect families. There are no perfect parents or perfect children. Regardless of the nuances of our experiences that make our life unique from everyone else, none of it legitimizes us in the eyes of God. Our lives must line up with the Word of God, not make us an exception to the Word.
How do we know that we have a saving relationship with Jesus, our Savior?

The Father of Two Sons
The parable of the father with two sons is also known as the parable of the prodigal son. In this particular teaching, the focus is more on the father. All the parables of our Lord Jesus are given to give us a glimpse of the King (the Father), His kingdom, and the principles whereby which He rules. The parable should really highlight the heart of our heavenly Father and what He desires above all HIs possessions, above all else... is that we be saved - alive, not dead. Found, and not lost... Dwelling in peace and joy with Him.
These teachings are intended to nurture, instruct, and help you understand what the Lord has said in His Word that you may walk in the manner worthy of your calling in Him. We pray that you are blessed, not merely in the hearing, but more so in the doing. Simply put, our utmost desire is to be in the Father's heart, to know the Father's heart, and express the Father's heart to you.

Listen to My Son and Receive My Spirit
This teaching actually came out of Hebrews chapter 2 and the first four verses. The title came afterward.
During the transfiguration, the voice from heaven declared, ""This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!" Furthermore, Jesus said of Himself, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." We must listen to our Father through His Son and, as you will hear in this teaching, receive His Spirit which is a fulfillment of the New Covenant He promised through the holy prophets of old.

The Importance of Hearing the Voice of the Lord
Along with digging deep to lay a foundation in the study of God's word, hearing and discerning the voice of the Lord is the most important part of our walk with God. It's sometimes difficult because He speaks to us Spirit to spirit as deep calls unto deep and because of the fallen state of existence we were raised in, and still live in, that sometimes frustrates our walk with God and our growth in Him. But this message is to build up your faith to encourage you to know that just as He spoke to the saints of old, He can, will, and does speak to you today. We must listen with the ears and eyes of our heart, our spirit, and learn by the Spirit and the word to discern His voice. In these last days, there really is nothing more important in our walk with God than being able to hear Him.
These teachings are intended to nurture, instruct, and help you understand what the Lord has said in His Word that you may walk in the manner worthy of your calling in Him. We pray that you are blessed, not merely in the hearing, but more so in the doing. Is this the fast that I have chosen?
The Lord asks this question in Isaiah 58, "Is this the fast that I have chosen?" We would do well to meditate and consider why did He ask this rhetorical question to His people through the prophet Isaiah. Maybe there's more to fasting than just not eating or drinking foods. Maybe God is desiring something more important than that, like sacrificing one's own desires to bless others that are in need.

Growing up in the Lord
Growing up in the Lord takes time. Like a seed planted in the ground, it takes time to die, then spread its roots underground before sprouting up and bringing forth the evidence of life. Growth can not be rushed. After the seed is planted, the only thing that we can do to help ensure the growth is to nourish it and protect it from adverse elements. So it is with our spiritual growth in the Lord.
Death to our old self and growing in the new man comes as we renew our minds in the Word. This is integral to our growth. Our mind is renewed as we dig deep into His word to establish a thick foundation in which the house of our life is built.
These teachings are intended to nurture, instruct, and help you understand what the Lord has said in His Word that you may walk in the manner worthy of your calling in Him. We pray that you are blessed, not merely in the hearing, but more so in the doing. Parable of the Sower
The following was presented to lay a foundation concerning the importance of an individual's response to the gospel of the kingdom of God. There are those with a heart like the wayside ground, others like that of the stony ground, others like that of the thorns, and those precious few who are of good ground. It's imperative for us to understand what makes us the type of individual described by each ground, so that we may discern and decide which type of individual we desire to be.
These teachings are intended to nurture, instruct, and help you understand what the Lord has said in His Word that you may walk in the manner worthy of your calling in Him. Our Father's Heart for Family and Ministry
What is our Father's heart for family and kingdom ministry?
If we truly want to know what our Father's heart is concerning family and kingdom ministry, we need to look no further than His word. They say B.I.B.L.E. stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. The Word of God is that and so much more.
In order to understand family and kingdom ministry in the eyes of God, we must understand headship, our individual roles in the body, and how they are to complement each other, not rival each other, for the purposes of furthering His kingdom on earth.
If this is the understanding you seek, then watch the video and consider the message as a Berean. Seek out the scriptures to confirm if the things shared are true... and above all, don't be a hearer only, but walk in the truth yourself, and be a doer of the word.
