On January 23, 2024 the Irvine Unified School District held its regular Board of Directors meeting but this was no ordinary meeting. Approximately 100 parents and concerned citizens arrived to speak on the topic of Parents Rights and Parental Notification. Their goal was to convince the Board to create a policy where parents will be notified when their child is transitioning. Currently Irvine schools and many of the schools in Orange County are not required to notify parents when their child is transitioning. On November 3, 2023, Dr. Sebastian Gorka spoke at the California Republican Assembly (CRA) Presidential Endorsing convention held at the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa, CA. He asked the audience the following question: “How do you summarize what is happening to America?” His answer: “We live in the most perverse time in history for one very simple reason… we are being led and run by people who hate our country”. At the October 16, 2023 Republican Central Committee of Orange County meeting, attorney and CA national committeeman Shawn Steel spoke about the hundreds of spontaneous groups being formed to take back control of our local schools. Shawn’s message: if you want change in schools, the best place to start is with the school boards. Mr. Steel talks about how tyrants throughout history have known in order to control the future, you start with the children. On January 2, 2022 California deputy district attorney Kelly Ernby unexpectedly passed away of complications from COVID-19 at the young age of 46. Many of us who knew her are heartbroken and are in a state of disbelief. Kelly was a shining star in the Orange County GOP and an inspiration to many who knew her. Her energy level was contagious and unparalleled as she singlehandedly worked tirelessly to unite the party. She was always joyful, full of excitement and a pleasure to be around wherever she traveled. Costa Mesa, Costa Mesa resident and high school math teacher Dennis Ashendorf shares his opinions and concerns about the future of education as it relates to Ethnic Studies. He says Gov. Gavin Newsom is about to sign a state mandated ethnic studies curriculum for all students in California called AB-101 and it is not what you think it is. Mr. Ashendorf points out that the creators of this mandated curriculum say it is your responsibility to stop problems in ethnicity and if you don’t like what is being taught, you are the oppressor. He feels our tax dollars should not be focused on curriculum that has political motivations and serve to only generate huge profits for the publishers. In this video Dr. Williams shares with us a personal story of a Covid-19 patient and close friend who passed away August 12, 2021 at the age of 72.
