There's early (spring) and late (fall) figs so the man must wait another season or 6 months for the fig tree to bear fruit. That's a total of 3.5 years it takes for the Firstfruits to bear fruit. Nah 2:13 All thy strong holds shall be like fig trees with the firstripe figs (ḇikkûr) if they be shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of the eater. What he is doing is identifying the Aleph and Tav letters as the protos eschatos or first and last which appear between Lord God and man. It reads, "And formed (way-yî-ṣer) Yahweh יְהוָ֨ה Elohym אֱלֹהִ֜ים [Aleph Tav אֶת ] Adam." These are the first and last Hebrew letters אֶת which are AΩ in Greek. Paul is identifying verses like this, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first (prōtos) and the last (eschatos)," with the אֶת in Hebrew! Multitude is g3793 ὄχλος ochlos of people used in context in Rev 7:9 and 17:15 and here in 19:1, 6. In Esther, there's a clear difference between those in the Shushan Palace and those scattered throughout the Empire. If Shushan is heaven then the multitude is not there. The question could also be said for the Army in Rev 19 with the Lord. How many come back with Him on White Horses? Next we'll get into the Army in the 6th Trumpet.
