The New Jerseys were deeply honored once again when SentViaText Productions reached out for another custom song for The Entertainers. This time the challenge was to create a New Jerseys cover version of Miley Cyrus’ hit “Wrecking Ball” that would accompany the Season 1 finale credits. For research purposes, Peter New Jersey watched Miley’s video for the song roughly 16,000 times on repeat like Howard Hughes locked in his private movie theater until a sonic vision for the endeavor began to materialize: a Johnny Cash/Rick Rubin collabo doing a karaoke impersonation of a Weezer/Phil Spector collabo.
