Starting off with the picture of when Evanescent found out about him, this is a tribute to a great Mustang boy that crossed the bridge today.

The 5 remaining Mustangs at the CO kill pen (from the 10) have been picked up and are heading to foster in Nebraska.

Picked up the bonded Mustangs from TN kp today

We got the 21 yr old mare from the Iowa auction safe today and also woke up to a surprise Roan gelding. He looks like such a sweetheart, but confused as to why he's there. We're so glad to have connections at this auction and to see him safe.

These mares look to possibly be bred to a Grulla colored daddy! Look at this utterly gorgeous little baby. We aren't sure yet whether this is a boy or girl as mares are still standoff-ish, especially with a new baby in the family.

Is that really her? A difference of night and day and had we not known better there’s no way we’d believe it, but this is Mesa! Full of herself, trotting around and snorting to say I AM BACK!

Just two short months ago this young mare was pretty much unhandled but seemed curious of people. She has been being worked by our foster home’s teenager and just look at this awesome progress! ...were saved about 2 months ago from the Bowie kill pen. Turns out only Julia is pregnant, thankfully, and Ruby, the bay, is not!

It's darn cold in Nebraska and our four pregnant mares are sticking together. Interesting how there are more horses, but these 4 are bonded buddies.

Transition from kill lot to rescue.

The 4 mares were unloaded at our Nebraska foster home today. Only two seem to be unhandled, which is very helpful with evaluation and eventual adoption.
