Saved at livestock auction, these boys are doing quite well in the equine therapy program Evanescent’s founder is an active member of.

The bay filly, the owner surrender and chocolate chip are all going through quarantine together.

This is the filly we bid on and won at the Elkhart auction this past Saturday.

We picked up this filly, plus an owner surrender Mustang on Saturday night. Stay tuned for more details this week!

Best watched on a laptop or desktop: Deva and Feona were not happy that our Dexter bull was rolling in their spot. The Burros are permanent sanctuary residents at Evanescent’s original sanctuary in Sherman, TX and the bull is Candace’s personal livestock.

This BLM Mustang went through the Elkhart auction and without us even knowing he is there, he has landed safely with Evanescent Mustang Rescue thanks to a Mustang angel there watching out for us...

Three more mustangs rescued from a livestock auction at Paris, Texas over the weekend. All three were seal authority and rounded up in January 2020 and wait to find themselves at auction just over a year later. EvanescentMustangRescue.org

Found in a CO kill pen 12/2021 as a 4 yr old, Clause has been adopted and is now known as Teddy. He is shown here unloading at his new home and going to meet his new pasture-mate.

This boy was rescued from the Stroud kill pen and to his relief and ours, he has landed in a good spot! He is in quarantine now and will hopefully realize he is safe soon. Poor guy was so scared when he arrived at quarantine that he was sweating and shivering. =( Evanescent is 100% volunteer run and all donations and sponsorships go directly toward the rescue, care and rehabilitation of the Mustangs and Burros.
