Thanks for your support. https://amzn.to/3PYh3mJ HARVARD BEETS 4 cans (15 oz) of cut beets - drain, reserve 1 1/2 cup beet juice Combine the following in a saucepan - 3/4 cup sugar 1 1/2 tsp salt 6 TBLS corn starch Add - 1/2 cup beet juice 3/4 cup vinegar or lemon juice Mix well and bring to a boil Cook until thickened Add the 4 cans of cut beets Heat until the beets are hot Remove from heat Add 3 TBLS butter or margarine Ready to serve! Bake at 325* for 15 - 20 minutes Let completely cool before going to the second layer Second Layer 1 cup cool whip 1 cup powdered sugar 1 - 8 oz package cream cheese - room temperature Beat cream cheese Add cool whip and combine well Add the powdered sugar and mix well Spread evenly over the cooled crust Chill until set up Third Layer 2 small instant vanilla pudding 3 cup milk 1 1/2 cup blueberries Mix instant pudding and milk on a low speed for 2 minutes Fold in blueberries by hand (do not over mix) (Note: If using frozen blueberries add while berries are still frozen) Spread on top of the cream cheese layer Chill for 30 minutes Fourth and Final Layer Top with cool whip Garnish with chopped nuts and blueberries if desired THE GOLDEN THOUGHT OF INSPIRATION It is better to have God's approval and the world's applause.

Place the meatballs in a single layer. The Sauce: 2 cup ketchup 1 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1/2 tsp garlic powder Mix together and heat until it comes to a boil. Pour very warm water over yeast mixture and give a light stir. Set aside. Scald milk. In a large bowl mix butter and scalded milk together. Add sugar, salt, eggs and mix well. Add yeast mixture and give a light stir. Mix flour and wet ingredients together. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled. Roll out the dough, spread with softened butter and sprinkle with light brown sugar and cinnamon. Nuts and raisins are an option. Roll up like a jelly roll and slice. Place into prepared baking pans. Bake 350* 20 minutes WHITE VANILLA ICING 3/4 cup 10x sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 Tablespoon milk Mix well and spread over warm cinnamon rolls CARAMEL ICING Melt 1 1/4 stick butter or margarine in a sauce pan Add 1/14 cup light brown sugar Bring to a boil and stir over a medium heat for 2 minutes Add 2/3 cup canned pet milk Bring to a boil again and remove from heat. The water should completely cover the eggs. Let the burner on a high heat and do not cover. Remove the eggs from the boing water after 10 minutes. Let the eggs cool until they are easy to handle. Peel the eggs using the pound and roll method. Place in an airtight container in the refrigerator. When the eggs are cold smash them up. (We usually have the eggs in the fridge at least 8 hours.) DRESSING FOR THE EGGS 1 cup mayonnaise 1 TBS vinegar 1 1/2 tsp mustard 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 3 TBS light cream 1 TBS sugar Mix together well and add to the smashed eggs. Refrigerate.

Bake 400* 10 - 12 minutes Remove from oven and allow to cool to room temperature. Cook and drain and cool sausage - To Bake in the Oven - 350* 40 minutes (30 minutes in chop sausage) Drain and let cool. In a medium bowl beat the eggs, Add heavy cream, milk, salt and pepper. Layer the quiche as follows - 1/2 of the spinach 1/2 of the sausage 1/2 of the cheese Repeat the layers in the same order Pour the egg mixture over the quiche. Place the quiche on a baking sheet if desired Bake on 350* for 45-55 minutes or until the center is set. Let rest for 20 minutes before serving.

An easy recipe for homemade white bread that is not sour dough. Perfect for meals and sandwiches. Thanks for your support. https://amzn.to/3PYh3mJ WHITE BREAD 1 tsp salt 2 tsp yeast (or 1 envelope) 1 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup sugar Scant 1 cup oil, we used mazola 4 1/2 - 5 cups bread flour Take 1/2 cup warm water (of the 1 1/2 cups) and sprinkle the yeast over the water. Sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon of sugar over the yeast. Give a light stir and set aside so the yeast will activate. In a mixing bowl combine oil, sugar and salt. Mix and add 1 cup hot water (the remainder of 1 1/2 cup), (I used hot tap water.) Mix well When the above mixture is no longer hot add the activated yeast mixture. Combine the liquid with the flour. I held about 1 cup of flour out and added as needed. We used the KitchenAid to mix the bread dough. You can also knead by hand. I let the KitchenAid mix the dough for about 3-4 minutes, until it is nice and smooth. Cover dough and let rise in a warm place till doubled in size. Punch down and let rise again. Divide into 2 parts and put into greased bread pans. Makes 2 loaves Let rise till your desired height. It will rise some more after it's in the oven Bake 350* 30 minutes Brush the tops of bread with butter Remove from pan to cool. When cooled place in a bread bag. (We prefer bread bags over a film wrap.) THE GOLDEN THOUGHT OF INSPIRATION Yeast does its job slowly, secretly and silently, but no one can deny its effect on bread. The same it true of the work of grace in our hearts. Jesus changes us by working within us.

Thanks for your support. https://amzn.to/3PYh3mJ POT ROAST with ONIONS, POTATOES & CARROTS Place a pot roast in a deep baking pan Cut up onions and place around the roast Add beef broth until the roast is almost covered Cover tightly with heavy duty tinfoil Bake on 400 for 30 minutes Turn the heat down to 275 Bake for 2 hours Peel and cut up potatoes and carrots Add to the pot roast and onions Bake another 2 hours We make a gravy using the beef broth The left overs can be put together and plenty gravy added to make a stew. You can eat this with no guilt - it's sweetened with honey and the ingredients are healthy for you. It's also a great way to use bananas that have become riper than you like for fresh eating. Add the cocoa, honey, vanilla and salt. Add the light cream and mix well. If it's not as creamy as you'd like, add a little more cream. It should be the consistency of a Wendy's frosty Eat as a frosty or place in an air-tight container for the freezer. Once it's frozen it will be a scoopable ice cream. We used chicken we had canned and drained the broth off which we used in the sauce we put to the stir fry. Put a little oil in a skillet and add the chicken and some soy sauce. In a few minutes add the chopped onions,, zucchini and carrots with a little more soy sauce. Add just a little of the chicken broth. After a few minutes add the snow peas. Simmer until veggies are fork tender. Sauce: Mix together well: 1 3/4 cup chicken broth 1 TBLS soy sauce 1/2 tsp ginger 4 TBLS corn starch Pour into skillet with chicken and veggies Cook until thickened Serve over a bed of rice.
